Hello Folks; So, I am trying to determine what is the best all round ATC for FSX since I am now finally ready to replace the standard FSX ATC which I have been using since it was introduced. I have done a lot of home work and I am down to 2; Pro ATC/X and PF3. I really don't want to start a thread on this since I know it was discussed at length around mid 2017 and however, since it has been awhile ago I am sure some of the concerns listed then are no longer issues. The current default ATC is not too bad given it's age. I current use FlightSim Commander to plan my flights which I then load into FSX and my Aircraft FMC. I just purchased the E 175 V2 from Feelthere. I copied the install code from the email but it does not automatically fill it in to the installer which is says its should. When I manually type it in the next button is still disabled.

I am looking for a substitute panel to use with a Beech Starship in FSX...In particular, a panel with good vision out the front and over the nose...Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks...Steve in Kansas

Hello. I am looking for opinions on the best Cessna Citation for FSX. I see NextGen has one and Carenado has another. Just Flight also has something listed called Citation X. I guess I am looking for overall quality, model, flight dynamics, features, etc. Also if one has more of an impact on FPS than other. If anyone can let me know their opinions I would appreciate it. Spoiler I am using FSX SE, an Alabeo Aztec and recently bought the Carenado Caravan EX. The Aztec is set up with various camera views which I find very useful - they are accessed through buttons on my yoke and hotkeys in FSUIPC. I am limited because there can only be a fixed number of hotkeys (9 or 10?). I would like to use one of the existing views from the Aztec when I fly the Caravan but it isn't working. I have pasted the Camera Definition from the Aztec aircraft.cfg file to the Caravan file, renumbered it to avoid obvious conflicts but it doesn't work. I have tried (at John Dowson's suggestion) changing the GUID, but it still doesn't …

Good day everyone, in my first flights in pmdg boeings, i was setting a lower altitude before reaching the top of descend, and when i Hit the tod, the aircraft was starting to descend automatically on vnav, but now even though i already passed the Tod, the aircraft doesn't start descending, i have to left click to make the aircraft start descend, perhaps did i changed some settings accidentally?

Last night our internet went down, I believe they are servicing something cause we have got another warning that it is going to happen again tonight from 11pm. When ever i try to download the weather the process get to simconnection established and FSUIPC connection established, from there it comes with a window. after I press "Connect in the Upper Right corner, like I've always done. Looking For FSX/SE for Twin / High Performance A/C w/ G1000 . I found the Carenado Malibu Meridian, Is there any thing else in the high performance prop class? Is there a G1000 stand alone you can add to A/C? Thanks!!

Hello everyone, i would like to make a Cargo flight with pmdg 747 qots II, my airplane will be a -400bcf. But since i will be very heavy, i have to perform a step climb but i don't know how to do it without ruin the altitude values that given by fmc? You know on the legs Page, at the right Hand side there are altitude values, once i changed one of them from 6.000 to 8.000 feet, at 8.000 feet the Autopilot switched itself to the altitude hold mode and i couldn't reengage the vnav anymore. By the way is there any differences between fmcs of -400F and -400BCF?

Four out of five of my flights, the airplanes has trouble capturing the localizer. How far out or close in should I activate the approach button? I am activating the approach button about 25 miles out. But I end up being about a mile or two off on approach. What am I doing wrong? It is very frustrating. Thanks

Hello, I come with a localizer problem FSX, Windows10. Both aircraft are Project Airbus types. The test track is: Takeoff ZRH RW10, NAV1 is set to KPT (Kempten) 109.6. Start manually, then at approx. 2000ft APilot on; HDG 70 ° >> change to 70 degrees. I put LOC course 74 °. Now I activate LOC (NAV1 = 109.60, approx. 60nm distance; is displayed). So the plane should swing in on it . It works with several aircraft, eg. A318-111 (N801). I don't even know where to BEGIN! I searched here before posting and can't seem to pull up any other discussion about this, but I doubt that's the case. Tried to follow tips and "checklist" from another forum but the files the poster referred to are absent. I followed the manual. I can't seem to find a .cfg file within the MyTraffic folder. Well, i was flying with Boeing aircrafts until today especially with the 747-400, and today i got the Aerosoft A320/21. In Boeings at cruising altitude when i get close to the top of descend i was setting a lower altitude and when i hit the top of descend, the VNAV function was starting to descend automatically. Is it possible to climb, cruise and descend automatically like boeing's vnav on Airbus? What's the routine climb and descend procedures for the A320/21? I am blue in the face trying to correct this and I am not a geek so treat me like a 4 year old please. I have tried uninstalling Aer Lingus fleet manually from FSX and reinstalling them with WOAI to be told that there is already an airline of the same name. I have removed the BGL from the world scenery in FSX, same result. I bought Aerosoft Nice Cote D'Azur airport, beautiful, but trees all over the runway apron. I wonder should I start collecting model trains instead, my hair is going grey from this. Hello everyone. I need some advice of FSX scenery settings to increase my frame rates and get rid of the jumpiness in scenery dense areas. I recently purchased the global scenery update from Orbx . ( which has been around for years, but yes I just now purchased and installed). Before this update I had no issues and now that I am flying near scenery dense areas It does not perform well. Should I just go to the FSX scenery settings and tone it down a bit? Or is their a better way? I assure I do not have a hardware issue because I am running with an I7 processor and a nvdia 1050 graphics card with FSX installed onto a SSD. I am just fishing for ideas on the best…

Hello, I had enrolled into the FSX community just a few weeks ago. I don't know much apart from the basics and the only 2 things I know about engine failures are that you can set failures to happen within a certain amount of time and you can press a key to make an engine failure happen. That's great and all but one problem: I wanna film a video about BOAC flight 712 and I have to do an engine fire - I want to press a key and for an engine fire to happen, which, as far as I know, isn't possible. Are there any plugins for FSX or even a function in the main game for this to happen? Thanks. Also, if this is important, I use FSX:SE.

I am wondering if there is a freeware alternative to chaseplane or ezdok. Can't really find much about it so I thought a freeware alternative does not exist for chaseplane/ezdok.

Hello everyone, ive installed a FSX addon with a cargo aircraft, However when taxiing to gate it appears theyre taxiing me to passenger terminals with jetways as if I was a passenger aircraft. I dont suppose anyone knows if this can be changed in the files somewhere what they regonise me as? Kindest Regards, Scott

I use FSX boxed and I'm having an issue I used to also have with P3D, but I just fixed it by clearing my shader cache. In this case, my FSX shaders have not been modified (i checked the modify date, all of them are which from 2006 ~2007) and I've tried clearing my shader cache to no effect. Rex Sky Force 3D + 3d cloud models, Default Thunderstorm weather preset I use ENVTEX sky textures as well as REX Sky Force 3D (32 bit version) for the cloud textures. I noticed even with ENVTEX textures, the clouds still have different colors. ENVTEX Clouds Default cloud models, Default Thunderstorm preset Is there any way to fix this?
