Hi, I have recently installed [or think i have] a couple of freeware airports from flyawaysimulation. I have copied the file and placed them in FSX/addonscenery/scenery. I think thats where they are supposed to be placed. But when i start FSX and look within FSX scenery library, and addonscenery, scenery; there is nothing showing. Have I done something wrong? Not too experienced on computer files, etc; so help would be appreciated!!

I'm trying to download the Ezdoc 1.18 and it's not working. Towards the end of the download, I get a freeze and that's where it ends. I've tried downloading from the link in their forum and I got a pop-up that reads ; Themida- Cannot find 'borlndmm.dll'. My Windows Firewall has Ezdoc as an exception when it was previously loaded. I also had Advance System Care and Ccleaner disabled. Is anyone else having problems with Flight One Downloads?

Good morning everybody! Some days ago, I bought Airbus X (all four aircraft) and PMDG 737 and 777, now it is driving me crazy! Can someone teach me how to program all 6 aircraft correctly and engage the autopilot too? -Specs- i3 3250 10GB DDR3 1600 GTX 750ti PNY

No freeware space planes exist that allow maneuvering in space (just air pressure-dependent control surfaces) so I've been unable to try myself (if you know of one, let me know), but can orbiting be achieved in FSX? For anyone that has the payware space shuttle, feel free to share your experiences on how space flight works for that. I has Orbiter sim and I've done some reading, so I know how spaceflight and orbiting works. I'm wondering how the FSX physics handles it, and if you actually orbit with the payware shuttle or just "mimick" orbiting.

Hey folks :)Anyone have a decent waterconstants file? I have Shader 3.0 mod and Bojote's waterconstants file however it causes these huge waves seen in the screenshot. Justcurious since I have never bought any of their products before, what is the feeling on PacSim, since they are coming out in the future with SLC/Salt Lake city/Utah. airport. In the past I have always bought airports from FS Dreamteam/KLAX, CYVR, KIAH, JFK vol2, KLAX, KFLL, KFDW, Fly Tampa, CYUL,Toronto, KBOS, KBUF, KTPA, Midway, FlightBeam, KDEN, KIAS, KSFO. and Latin VFR, KMIA San Juan KRDU, KSAN. thanks for your opinions, Ronny

Hi all I have for many years used NN tweak guide when installing W7 from scratch or when purchasing a new PC. How many of you still follow this regime ? Given that I'll probably use FSX in parallel with P3Dv2 for a few months yet, I'm going through my installation of FSX today on a new W7 install and was wondering what everyone else does? Anyone else experiencing this problem or have a solution to it ? My framerates are locked at 33FPS. With concorde X that is what I get until the INS is aligned. Then the framerates rollercoast between 18 and 33. Switch the INS off, and the frames stay up at 33. I have contacted FSLabs and they are looking in to it. Is anyone on this forum able to assist me in solving this ? Trevor

Hi there, also there is a similar topic around, i started a new one, because its a different problem. Iam running the 747 v2 in p3d 3.35 + AS16+ASCA. I always have the problem that my cruise level is around 200ft too high. For example my cruise level is FL370. The PFD (STD) indicates 37000ft. But the analog altimeter (1013/2992) shows 37200ft. Smartcars reads out iam @FL372. So iam flying at 37200ft and the PFD shows the wrong altitude. After applying the following Navaid and Airport updates (changes the runway headings due to magnetic variation). http://www.aero.sors.fr/navaids3.html When I installed MyTraffic 6 it changed the runway headings back to the default (PADQ RNY 26 changed back to 25) , as far as the navaids and ATC. Is there any reason not to re-install the above updates? Update: I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Navaid updates and now it doesn't change the runway, etc. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi. I am looking for a good scenery for Le Touquet LFAT in northern France so that I can do some cross Channel flights from Shoreham EGKA and Lydd EGMD. The only freeware scenery that I can find is Er-Jin Jang's lfat_ade.zip from 2009 which is a very small upgrade to the default scenery, giving correct runways and taxiways, but using default autogen buildings. There was an apparently excellent freeware scenery for FS9 by Christian Dupriez which was further upgraded by Alain Nicco and Thomas Philibert, but these are 10-11 years old and are not compatible with FSX (I have tried!). Sometime back I wrote that this software quit monthly updates and no longer appears in the App Store. Today it indicated an update was available, and when I clicked to update, it disabled all functions to view airports and approaches, which I could previously do with the outdated cycle. Metars and weather info is also no longer usable. It seems that only sectional charts and aircraft checklists continue to work ( so far). This was once a great app and it was a purchased product. Hey Pilots and Repainters! I wanted to trie making simple repaints (as far as my knowledge goes) for different planes. I use GIMP for the paintwork (I have way too less skill for buying photoshop) then I save it as windows bmp and want to convert it to .dds with DXTBmp... but opening the bmp in DXTBmp converts the colours in a freaky way - please see link for screenshot https://flic.kr/s/aHskMEgjzr The repaints look the same in FSX... Over the last few years, particularly when flying airliners in FSX, I have found my main activity seems to centre around 'programming' something prior to the flight, whether it be a PMDG FMS, a GTN 750 or a Proline 21 system, to subsequently link with the autopilot. Don't get me wrong, being able to do this correctly and complete a flight using this technology is extremely satisfying but then I find myself sitting there twiddling my thumbs while the autopilot flies the aircraft and even getting a little bored for much of the subsequent flight, to the point where I usually accelerate the simulation rate. I heard that you can hire AI pilots and give the job, tasks etc to do in Air hauler 2. My question is, is there posibility to hire non-AI pilot to airline, I mean players, friends, so they can do jobs for you and eran $ for the same our company? I use FS passengers and FS airlines now, both programs are good but not perfect. FSP can simulate passengers behavior very nicely but you can not run company with friend or hire the friends as pilots. Just took an FSX flight in Airbus 319 from KPHL to KBDL (Bradley/Connecticut). Wow....landing is so cool with snow flying at blizzard speed and you definitely need to hit the ILS on this one. But it is a breathtaking landing right now (12:45 pm). I just love the reality of weather and FSX. My Daughter just made this flight in person the other day for business, so I generally try to replicate the flights I or my family take. It keeps the sim interesting for me. Stan
