I run FSX on a very fast Win 10 system. Is it possible to make the voice response time shorter when exchanging communication with ATC? For example, when I request clearance to taxi, it takes quite a few seconds before ATC responds. And there also seems to be some dead air when I make a request from ATC. I'm using EDITVOICEPACK to speed up the actual conversation but I wonder if I can close the gap on voice response. I only ask because I was doing some tweaking last week and after asking clearance to transition class C airspace, ATC responded almost immediately. Something is wrong with gate assignments at FSDT KLAX. Qantas 747s are parked at Terminal 4. Qantas is a part of T4 at LAX but they don't park their planes there because American does codeshare or Oneworld flights with Qantas. So that means you shouldn't be seeing Qantas aircraft parked in the T4 gates, but at the TBIT. Is there a fix for this issue? P.S. There are also some AA 767s parked at the American Eagle remote terminal east of the main terminals.

I'm having a few problems with the FMC on the 757. First, when I go to the pos init page, I don't see the little boxes indicating that text goes there. I do see the "ref airport" above where it is supposed to be though. Second, when I try to put in a company route, it says "not in database". I made sure it was in the right folder, in the correct flight plan format (.RTE), and I even tried renaming the file, and it still didn't work. Last thing, when I put information into the FMC, it shows that there are pages for the Departures (for example, this one airport had 2 pages worth of departures/runways), but the departures AND the runways didn't show up, it was just blan…

I am trying a FSX Maddog MD82 (v3.3 / SP2) aircraft/panel with the PMS (Performance Management System / Computer). The problem: I cannot find the click spot (or procedure) to enter a negative wind or temp value (e.g. -55). I can enter positive numbers ok, so far as I have tested (screenshot). I did not see (find in a folder) a PMS doc (manual) in my installation. Anyone know where I can get it for the Leonardo Maddog?

Hi. I am able to save a flight as normal, however, the weather does not and its driving me mad. I save my flight as fogged in @ 1m distant, no clouds, fog extends up to 5000ft. I fly rotary and like it this way. When I go to my saved flight I have something completely different. Am I doing something wrong here? Thanks for any help.

I keep getting messages saying my XML is corrupt. GSX is not showing in the menu or neither is Active sky next working but i can't see any errors in the XML. Can anyone else? Hi Everyone I am struggling big time with getting my head around installing Flight1 Ground environment X and Ground Environment X North America into FSX Steam Edition I have the old boxed versions and I understand there is a patch to upgrade it to work in FSX Steam My question is ...... Do I install the boxed disks first and then run the old Ground Environment manager first and then install the upgrade patch or is this wrong? I can't seem to make head or tail of the instructions on the Flight1 website ..... wayyyyyy too much information on boxed products and downloads and I am worried about getting it wrong Some help would really be appreciated…

Maddog2008 (SP2 v3) most current download FSX Acceleration Default aircraft and AAL paint. Logo lights light up more than the logo? Can someone check their logo light a night and see if it is correct or not.

Leonardo Maddog MD82 FSX switches vanish: Tested during nighttime flights with the AAL paint and the default MD80 paint: Autopilot and Autothrottle paddle switches go missing in the 2D cockpit when the cockpit flood light (overhead panel) is turned on. Hi Everyone, i have aproblem with the A330 by Blackbox. The problem is related the toe brakes. When i press the left toe brake is activated regularly bu twhen i release it the brake s still on. This happen with both brakes and even if i press them together they keep on. This problem is only with this aircraft all the others the brakes works perfectly- What can cause this problem? I tried to generate an outside view of the aircraft. But all I see is the flight deck portion of the plane and skeleton wings. The view is of type AC not VC. But nevertheless, it does not work. How is this supposed to work? Rene

Hi. Is there a reason my hat switch is not picked up by your software? My hat switch is recognised in the windows calibration as button presses. Is there any way to enable this please? Thanks.

I do not know if this is the right forum to post suggestions. But it would be a great push for OpusFSX if the PMDG B737 or the FLS A320X supported the weather system of OpusFSX for their weather radars and wind shear predictions. Is there really no way of achieving this? Many are using ASN just because of this feature. Rene

Coming back to FSX after being out of the loop for a few years. I'm thinking about building a new computer to run FSX but am concerned about getting it to run. I know Microsoft doesn't support it anymore so is the boxed version obsolete ad useless? If it can't be activated it would seem to be...at least the boxed version. I've heard about downloading the Steam version but I'd rather have the physical disks if that's still possible and working. Have heard about possible activation work arounds but none sounded very promising...Otherwise I might consider X Plane. Is FSX boxed version still usable? Thanks.

I have followed the read me and YouTube tutorial for installing the program and have followed what the video said. I get an error about the scenery.cfg file when inputting the data to the program. It first says (problem reading scenery.cfg error. Ensure the path to this file is valid. Ensure FSX isn't running) (which it's not). Then when I press force update of runway and taxi data, I get the same message along with (problem enumerating aircraft config files at path= SimObjects\). I only check the Orbx regions where I fly. Here's a scenario; I take off from PANC ( payware ) to MMMX ( payware ) in my PMDG 777. Those boxes are checked along with all the Orbx regions that I'll be flying over. If I uncheck PANC and the Southern Alaska Orbx Region after I am done flying over that area and then uncheck each region as I go , will that decrease the chance of an OOM ?

Hi, there. Last week I installed the latest Windows 10 update and, since then, FSInn is not working. After reinstalling FSInn it still does not work. Now I am using vPilot, but I prefer FSInn, which is more complete. Anyone knows how to fix this problem? By the way, I had to reinstall some fonts so I could use Qualitywings Boeing 757. I recently downloaded the Cirrus SR 22 GT Turbo G3 and found out that after undocking the "Open Screen" and moving to another screen , I was able to move it up/down and left/right using the arrows keys on the number pad. How can I do this with other aircraft in FSX? When I try to do it with other aircraft, it just "snaps" to the left or right and when I release the number pad key it "snaps back. I am trying to do this for my motion platform with other aircraft setups using multiple screens. hpwells:

I just now installed EZDOC 1.18 in FSX SE. I start out in the cockpit in windowed mode, then I go to add-ons. I click on EZDOC and that brings up the window. When I click on the EZDOC window to configure my cameras, the cockpit view disappears. My idea is that it's a Windows problem, but have no idea how to fix this. EZDOC won't work until this is figured out. I have Windows 10.

I'm planning to start some new airport scenery projects with a friend, but I would prefer to create scenery for ones that haven't been previously created for FSX/P3D in decent quality (so mere AFCAD's and such don't count). So I thought I could ask here for some suggestions / ideas. Are there any airports you would really want to see with no existing quality addon-scenery for them? Willing to do ones located anywhere in the world, as long as there's sufficient image data available on the internet, or from you. Thanks in advance for any suggestions! :smile:
