Before un-installing FSX I'll un-install all payware and freeware aircraft , scenery, and utilities ( there's a ton of them ). Do I need to un-install my peddles,throttle etc. ?

I would like to fly a plane with floats and am having trouble finding a port with water. I would like anywhere in the world but since I have many ORBX Regions those would be a plus, thanks.

I'm thinking about picking up the QW757. I have heard that some people have had problems with installing it in FSX Steam. I understand Quality Wings doesn't support FSX:SE, but I have seen some people having it working and some that have ran into problems. What is your experience with the product and this specific sim and what is needed to get it to work?

Hi there, I've seen this topic touched upon in the past, but have yet to see a precise EASY to understand answer. As has been seen for years now with various jets, sometimes when the aircraft is sitting there idling, it will begin to creep & roll. If the aircraft is 'light', that roll can quickly get up to 30+kts if not holding onto the breaks. I respectfully ask NOT to reply with unhelpful answers like .. ' some planes DO creep etc. blah blah.', or 'decrease thrust scaler' .. (Which is is just a frig & weakens the engine overall.) ALL i would like to know please is WHAT to edit in the AIR file? Hey everyone, Not sure how many people have been looking for a merge like this but after some major trial & error I have merged the two respective planes! Both merges are fully working and retain the characteristics and panels of the Flight 1 Super 80/Leonardo Maddog with the exterior of the CLS MD-80 (which in my opinion is the best looking model out there). I have been playing around with this for about 2 years honestly it really wasn't hard when you look at the task, I mostly had to take a logical approach to the whole thing which revealed to me the error that has been holding the whole thing back. Hey guys! As I dont have a bizjet in my collection, I thought about getting the Eaglesoft Citation X. But I read about problems when running it in WIN8 and she is not the jungest piece of software I think... Is anyone running it nice and stable in WIN10? And if so, what have I to do to run it? I installed the CLS MD-83 a few days ago, and I noticed the landing gear wasn't appearing, the VC wasn't showing, and no 2D panel was appearing. I was told to add a few extra lines to the dll.xml and it fixed the landing gear and 2D panel issue. My virtual cockpit still cannot be seen. Anybody have a fix?

Hi! Anyone used the payware version of Spad.Next ? Is this software can be consider sufficiently mature to make a buy, considered a reallyt unfavorable currency exchange ? In the Spad.Next forum I read that some further improvement will be charge, even if the release version is below 1.0. This make me alittle bit afraid, but I am really interested by thé products if it will be better than Linda. I uninstalled FSX from my main drive and reinstalled on a new Drive I got specifically for that purpose. The install didn't go well and many of the files and directories were not installed where they should have gone. However I was able to move things around and FSX works without errors now and I got all the add-ons working too. So my problem is after loading up FSX and starting the program, at some point (usually pretty quickly) the video starts to go south and quickly the screen goes to black and orange and flashes and that's the end. I've been trying to find something in the forums about this issue i'm having, so hopefully I can explain it. When using the Hat Switch on my ProFlight Yoke in the VC (PMDG 777, 737GX, or MS Stock), the movement is rather "stutterish" (not sure how else to explain it). However, if I switch tasks to something else (i.e. ASN, RC, PFPX, a Web Browser), I can still pan around using the Hat Switch on the yoke (obviously FSX-SE is behind the task i'm actively looking at) and it's super smooth. Is it possible to get that same result when in FSX-SE's task? At one point it was working this way (even with PMDG's VC) and I have no idea what could have changed. T…

Hi guys, Just about to transition from FSX to FSX-SE on Win10 and doing lots of homework to support this. Previously in boxed edition on Win7 the recommendation was to install into the root directory C:/Microsoft Flight Simulator X. Any thoughts and restrictions around SE at all please? Same again... Watching "The Complete History of Air Combat" Ep. #1 "B-24 Liberator: View from the Cockpit" (Amazon Prime) About 2/3's through, they show an old training film on how to fly and land damaged B-24's. Different engines, flight control surfaces and tires out. A real How-To. But what really got me was when, under certain conditions, they instructed the crew to "SHOOT THE OTHER MAIN WHEEL OUT". Thought I would give this mesh a try out by just installing one region eg North America to see how it works out. I think I've got my head around the installation process and I have downloaded the base release. Also downloaded the patches 105, 106 and 107. I would like to get some advice on the following please: When I install the base pack (N America) and activate in the scenery library do I also need to activate the 'patches folder' into the library too? I see from the installation tutorial that it does appear in the library. Logic suggests to me that I do but wondered whether the base pack of North America installs the 'patches' folder automatically being the first …

I am running FSX and Windows 7 Pro 64bit. I recently deleted Orbx scenery because I found it too complicated and I then uninstalled FSX. I then reinstalled FSX from the discs and found an entry in the scenery library ORBX\VECTOR_AEC and when starting FSX I get an error message ' SCENERY.CFG file error.Local scenery directory ORBX\FTX_VECTOR\FTX_VECTOR_AEC\SCENERY) in scenery area 003 not found.) I have tried to delete ORBX\VECTOR_AEC from the scenery library without success. Any help would be much appreciated Regards Brian

I changed the FSX Sound setup, moving "Sound" to an external device, so Engine Cockpit Environment will run externally. "Voice" goes to Internal PCI card which will handle Communication through Headset. Launching FSX I'm at the GA Cold & Dark & I get this terrible ambit noise, as if I'm in Wind Tunnel, or 2 huge Multi Engine Birds full throttle are next to me, starting my Engine & I can barely hear it ... Any idea how to get read of this annoying noise Thanks Yair

Hi all, After installing a fresh Windows 10, I install FSX: SE. The problem was when I started to install addons. The first addon was Eaglesoft Citation X V2.0, after accepting .DLLs I started the sim, just to find out that all the gauges were missing. Before the formatting all was good (also Windows 10 and FSX:SE). After it I installed CaptainSim 757, and I got this: As you can see the gauges are also missing, but I have accepted the .DLL gauges. Hi Is there anyone on the west coast Canada /USA close to my time zone (Pacific time) that would volunteer to help test my port setup. Hi guys, I wonder if someone can help. Just bought the Real Air Turbine Duke and the rudders won't work for taxi but they become alive when I'm rolling down the runway? I use Saitek rudder pedals configured through FSUIPC. Everything appears normal in FSUIPC, so I have assigned the axis and can see both pedals giving me full travel. My inaugural flight didn't actually start because I couldn't taxi from the gate. When I apply full left and full right the rudders don't move in the cockpit, no animation or nothing. So I spawned on the runway, applied full power and as I started to roll above say 60knots the rudders were working? I have looked in the documentation …

Hey, So I bought FSX Deluxe a long time ago (About 2-3 years) and I just noticed that at the top it does not say "Acceleration". The box says Deluxe and deluxe is meant to come with acceleration... Should I reinstall (Should I back up my scenery and planes?) Any help appreciated, Thanks, Sam

Hi, I have a good selection of graphics setting profiles and am able to change my settings to cope with the current region. One of them is my Extreme Airliner setting, Medium LOD, autogen to Normal and most graphics sliders set to one-half. But... I seem to get a stutter or freeze over cities. The fps counter shows upper 20s and low 30s as I'm flying over a city, perhaps after take-off in a GA plane. Every few minutes the screen freezes for 3-5 seconds then continues. Is this a stutter or a freeze or a micro-stutter? With my autogen cut back and my fps at a decent level, why am I getting these freezes/stutters? If my fps was <10 I could understand it. Is this…

Hi all. I have the ifly 737NG on my fairly new computer (Basically, 3.2 ghz CPU...8gb memory..geforce GTX 960). I have most of my scenery settings on medium, also no traffic at all. When I'm flying after about 5-10 minutes it freezes and gives me the message that my computer has run out of memory. I would have thought 8gb was plenty to run this. Has anybody any feedback on this please. Thank you David.
