Hi, I have a CLS A330 & A340 as well as a AeroSim B787. Both aircraft behave strangely when I load a flight plan with a SID. The aircraft climbs, I have LNAV and VNAV (aerosim) engaged and at 500' to 1000' I engage the autopilot. The aircraft makes a turn from the runway heading, flies a full circle and then joins the plotted course. Both publisher aircraft behave the same way (aerosim and Commercial Level Simulations). It almost appears as the first way-point is the end of the runway and since I fly the climb out manually the aircraft returns to the runway when the autopilot is engaged. Hey everyone, I've been off the forums for years now and just recently decided to get back into the simulation world as I joined flight school and just this week finished my private with 50 hours! I'm super excited about that and on the long road to CFII and MEI! Anyways, I have had the same PC for years now, dating back to 2010. I was always limited by performance and it seemed to be that I had a integrated graphics card on board my Dell Inspiron 580. It has 6 GB of ram 1333MHz and a I3-530 at 2.93GHz. Now, just recently I upgraded my GPU to the best thing I could get (to my knowledge) without upgrading the PSU; the AMD Radeon 7750. Best 50 bucks i've ever spent. …

Hi everyone I have Playsims (Scotflight) Airports Volumes 2 and 3 and I am struggling to install them into FSX Steam The installation seems to have gone ok but when I look in the Scenery Library within FSX Steam they are not listed I have tried to add them manually but to no avail Does anyone have any idea how I can get them to be recognised in FSX Steam Thanking you in advance Paul

Hi, I am trying to change the zoom/distance to the 2D panel on my aircraft. I have EZCA and IRTrack installed and can NOT change the zoom level for the 2D panels. If I press Shift and +or - only the outside changes, the distance to the panel remains the same. There are some clickspots which do NOT show up on the VC (CLS A340). Is there a way to adjust the distance?

Hi Opus. I see that with only one ButtKicker connected you have to choose what direction of movement you want the ButtKicker to respond to. I would of thought that with only one device connected there would be an option for it it to respond to all xyz axis movements at the same time. ?? Thanks, gb.

I was wondering if anyone streams live atc (atc.net) while flying fsx on the same computer could tell me if this causes any kind of a performance hit. It seems cool to listen to something besides robots while flying but I was wondering abouth consequence if using add ons like ngx and asn. My computor is not high end and I dont want to bring it to its knees. Thanks in advance.

Evening all.... I think sadly I made a mistake by buying KATL. It is one of my favorite airports and after downloading SODE, saw it as another airport worth having simply for the SODE jetways... Am I wrong or isnt the new KATL 2016 SODE enabled... If so, how do I enable it. I know that Tropical Sim's SAEZ was updated but you had to change a file in its folder to get it to work... easy process. Can anyone please tell me.. Is KATL equipped with SODE gateways? If so, how many? if not all and which ones? As of this moment, I have downloaded, installed and activated KATL 2016, GSX works fine (It is the latest) but no SODE functionality... No jetway animation at all…

While installing a program, I must have also unknowingly installed Virtuali addon manager 3.0.0.17. I don't want this addon, but I don't know how to get rid of it. It doesn't show up in the program list, so I can't uninstall it using the control panel. It must be piggy backing on some other program I installed. It shows up under the addon drop down list on FSX. So far I've been unsuccessful trying to locate it. Any ideas? Thanks.

I'm considering buying the Aerosoft A318/9 as an entry into flying somewhat heavier aircraft (I've been a GA man since the very earliest of days with FS and have recently really enjoyed the slightly heavier offerings from Carenado). I've watched some YouTube videos and one thing is very clear: I'll have to hit the books to understand this aircraft. I get that the flight computer has to be fed a range of parameters in order for the aircraft to fly (happily). I also gather that AS has integrated quick modes (Ready for taxi/Ready for take-off etc). Last night I set up two world cameras for the first time. My A2A Comanche was in the Monument Vally in Utah. Today My PMDG 737 was in Chicago ( KORD ). I brought up the two world Cameras and the cameras were still in Utah, not Chicago. How can this problem be fixed? The Ezdoc version is 10.0.61259.0. I'm using FSX with Windows 10.

Evening folks... Below are the errors I get when trying to install GSX to P3D V3 after having installed SODE. My initial install was "Tropical Sim" SAEZ 2016 which comes SODE ready. Downloaded and installed the latest version of SODE Alls well, Have SODE Jetways at SAEZ 2016 Install three FS DREAMTEAM Airports.... All is good.... Install GSX.... Boom. I've just purchased this fun little aeroplane (on sale at Just Flight) and have taken it on a couple of short test flights. Lovely little thing! Thank you very much for this Creation, Lionheart. From watching a review on youtube (before I made the purchase) it showed the control panel as having an option to select crew gender/no crew/two crew. I note that the current FSX add-on comes with separate liveries for male & female crew. Is this why the option is missing from the panel? I'm stumped by an issue related to controlling trim on the PMDG 737NGX and other advanced aircraft in FSX Steam Edition. The issue is that, regardless of how I assign elevator trim commands, when I power up the aircraft, the elevator trim defaults to either completely up or completely down, and consequently, the aircraft is very difficult to control. For years I've been using a CH Eclipse yoke and controlling elevator trim with one of the hat switches and FSUIPC. That solution worked until less than a week ago, when the problem arose. Hi, I have a strange problem/issue with the selection menu in FSX-SE; I have a AeroSim and AFS B787. When I select the aircraft publisher "AeroSim" several "AFS" aircraft show up in the selection window. Anyone know what line (I assume the aircraft.cfg file) is responsible for placing the aircraft into the proper publisher display? By the way if I select publisher "AFS", these aircraft do NOT show up in the list! Thanks for help

Hi all, First, I am wanting to get rid of the cockpit flash that is supposed to represent lightning flashing. To me, it is incredibly unrealistic to be flying at 38000 feet 20 miles away from a thunderstorm and have the entire cockpit light up like somebody just set off a strobe. So I need to know what effects file it is, and if I delete it, will anything bad happen. Secondly, I want to lower the thunder sound that I hear inside the cockpit. Again, I find it incredibly unrealistic to be in the same scenario as above and hear thunder. Do I need to lower the volume of all of the .wav files or individual ones? Hi all, I know, vasFMC is not supported anymore, but perhaps somebody knows my problem and has a workaround for me :smile: I am running vasFMC standalone with Thomas Ruth's A340 (same happens with the default A321, however) with the following settings: hardware throttle set to AXES_THROTTLE_SET via FSUIPC 4.95 A/THR mode in vasFMC to VASFMC Airbus A/THR in vasFMC to ON When loading the aircraft, the engines are running with the start switches OFF (for whatever reason). I searched for this topic but did not find it covered before... Each time I am flying in the southwest ATC sector of Atlanta approach, when communicating with ATC on 127.7 and they give me a frequency change to 119.8, after I change frequencies, I get the Dobbins ARB ATIS tape. I know that Dobbins does not use 119.8 and never has--their ATIS is UHF. Example: Yesterday I was making an IFR approach to KATL from the east and tuned to Atlanta Approach, 127.7. I was advised to expect a visual approach to runway 10. ATC then told me to contact Atlanta approach on 119.8. At that point, I was south of and adjacent to runway 10. For anyone who owns FlyTampa YSSY, i have a question in hopes it can be answered. I parked my PMDG T7 at the international terminal (Spot 9 to be specific) in which it has 3 jetways. My guess is that those jetways are for different sized aircraft. When i use the command to bring the jetway in, itll bring the middle one and trample over the closest to my aircraft, where it meshes with the other jetway. My question is, is that bc the default jetway is only the middle one, and the other 2 are there for design? I have no way to control the one that actually should be connected to my aircraft?

The title should say Windowed Mode.... I guess this has been an issue for awhile. I need FSX SE, when running in Windowed Mode and the FSX SE window loses focus to use another app, FSX SE keeps the flight going, but the sound pauses until you click back on the FSX SE window, then the sound resumes. It appears FSX P3D has a fix. But I want to remain using FSX-SE. With all of Home Cockpit systems that probably need to run external apps, etc. I am sure someone may have a utilty or something that would keep the sound active when FSX or FSX SE loses focus in windowed mode.
