My system (see specs in sig) has generally been performing beautifully. The only issue I have has been nagging me for months. When arriving at either LatinVFR KSNA or SIM720 Palomar KCRQ I get blocks of scenery. At KSNA it's always blocks instead of trees or the tall grasses. I've tried turning down settings and reducing Autogen all to no avail. Can some fsx.cfg guru look at the relevant sections of my settings below and give me some advice? I just downloaded my first "big" plane, an ERJ 135. This is way more complicated than I am used to, so I decided to follow the included tutorials to lean the system. The first step of the tutorial says to start at KMWH, at S Parking 8. So I fire up FSX chose the plane and the airport, and there I am at the end of the runway. How do I get the plane to S Parking 8? Do I need to learn how to start it up and taxi over there, or is there a way to get FSX to start me there? Thanks

Hello guys. I used to have FXS running with FXAA without any issues, however, ever since I changed my rig, it doesn't work anymore. FSX starts loading and before the start menu appears it just closes. It works fine with ENB though. Hey guys, I'm really getting problems with flight controls and not get them working. Maybe it's I'm not used to props... the elevator is inverted the rudder is not working and when trying to taxi or take off the pedals are "pulled" to the left side after trying to enable 125Mh controls I had no controls That problems makes me stop trying to learn to fly the Dash. Hi, i try now to Paint my favorite Airplane- the Hercules C130. If i use the Paintkit everything is fine-no Question. but if i copy/past the ready Layer to the Texture Folder the FSX cant safe the new Livery. My Way to get it in: Open the DXTBMP Converter, search the File, open File. Paste the Layer in this File. Save. DXTBMP reload after Edit and save as Admin. But the new Livery will not saved. Why? So after two years of looking at MyTraffic 5.4 ugly looking planes (low quality models chosen for better FPS), I scratched my head and started googling about Ultimate Traffic 2. After a day of googling, reading reviews and tons of forums with opinions and perspectives, I took a plunge and bought it! And I must say I'm quite surprised how light on FPS is, with much better quality models/textures and more planes at the gates! Sitting on EDDM runway, without AI - 70fps, with 35-40 AI planes - 55-60fps, amazing. I had similiar results with low quality models chosen in MyTraffic, and with 20-25 AI planes. I love the Lionheart Trinidad, but it would be perfect if it had a functioning ADF. I note that an ADF on/off button is present, but an ADF doesn't seem to have been incorporated into the panel. Being a bit of a dinosaur who likes keeping his ADF skills current, I wondered if it might be possible to include an ADF in any future update? Bill

Hi all, Recently installed Rex texture direct for my fsx. Loaded in a theme and immediately noticed blurring ground textures that I hadn't had before. I had backed up my original files so I restored them but the blurries remain. Does Rex make any changes to other things such as configs etc that I have not considered? Does backing up to original completely remove any Rex influence? I'm. Convinced it's Rex that is causing this. Thanks!

Hi, I'm traditionally a virtual GA pilot - a twin prop is normally about as big as I like to go. However for an event coming up soon I really need to be flying something with a bit more oomph as the leg of the journey is really too long to do in a twin - so i've opted for the Embraer ERJ-145 from FeelThere on Steam. and had my first flight with it last night. I use P3D and stopped using the weather part of OpusFSI in lieu of another product, so I disabled it in the config screen. Nevertheless I contiue having menu itens inside P3D (Add-ons main menu) related to the weather of OpusFSI, and I would like to know if that can be removed somehow, in order to make it cleaner (since I don't use it). After a system crash my throttle, ailerons and rudder don't work. They are setup in the Control Axes https://gyazo.com/b5ffd93691916563d2ef0f1d7e5c347d I tried rename my fsx.cfg file to build a new control.xml but no joy. And if I go to Buttons/Keys and try to change an assignment FSX hangs. I really don't want to reinstall.... :(

Brand new install of FSX-SE on a Windows 7 PC. It freezes when accessing the menus during flight. This is a well documented issue. I've tried the usual fixes involving various versions of the uiautomationcore.dll in various locations, to no avail. I'm using three monitors connected in surround mode to handle the outside or virtual cockpit view, and a second monitor below handles the panels, etc. FSX sees two monitors. The lower one, and a single extra wide monitor. The freezing occurs only when I have both monitors avtive. If I disconnect the three monitors and use just the lower monitor, I cannot replicate the freezing. It can open up nearly unlimited v…

Whenever I start FSX, load the plane, EZDOK doesn't want to write to the aircraft I selected. Then I ignore the message, then EZDOK crashes on FSX loading. I reinstalled, ran as admin

After a long day of repainting the American Airlines FSND MD-83, I have finally finished! I have reworked many details, such as: Aluminum color restored "American" logo restored "AA" on tail restored and much more. It is saved as .dds texture for better quality. Hey folks, when starting the Dash 8 Pro with the newest update I get on my P3D 3.2 the message after loading the plane that the gauge is for P3D 2.0 and lower and I should go to the support page. But there is nothing inside the FAQ? Another thing: Sometimes the Dash is stopping for maybe 1s and then continuing.It's only the plane not the sim itself. After that she continues...Don't know how to describe that best :/ How to fix that as it's a bit disturbing

Last night I was doing a 702 mi. flight between CYHZ and KDCA (Reagen payware) in a PMDG 737. About half way through I heard a dinging noise about every 15 seconds which is an indication that an OOM is about to occur. I heard that if you save a flight you can go back later and continue the flight so I saved it. Today I opened FSX and clicked on the save button and later the load button and I got nothing. What's the proper procedure in saving a flight?

Hi, I just installed TrackIR software with FSX-SE. I notice that everytime I want to pause the simulator, by pressing "P", a little window pops up telling me a "Microsoft Flight Simulator Screenshot has been saved". The hot key for TrackIR is "F12". Anybody know how to: a) disable the screenshot feature in the flightsimulator? b) which folder do the screenshots saved in? Thanks for help Juergen Mader

How do I stop the OpusFSI update window from opening up on top of everything every few seconds? The weather update setting is every 60 minutes and METAR Import file every 3600 seconds. Windows 7, P3D, Aerosoft A320. Rex 4 texture direct. Would OpusFSI have any effect of why the picture is very grainy on landing at EGPH if the rain is heavy, or is that a Rex 4 problem? Thanks John

I haven't seen this discussed elsewhere, so please forgive me if this is a duplicate. I can't download AI repaints from the kaese2002.de site. When I click on any of the links, I receive an "unable to connect to the server" message. The site itself is up, but the files appear to be hosted on another site that has been down for a few weeks. I was curious if anyone had any insight into this or knows if those repaints might be found anywhere else. They don't seem to be in the avsim library or any of the other usual sites. Thanks

Okay, here are two simple problems and two solutions.1) The no eye candy models won't load.This is caused by a mistake in the model.cfg referencing the wrong interior mdl filename.Solution: In the folder Microsoft Flight Simulator XSimObjectsAirplanesfeelThere PIC Citation Xmodel.nocandy open model.cfg with wordpad and change the lineinterior=Citation_interior_nocandyto interior=Citation_nocandy_interior2) The glareshield fms and nav autopilot source buttons (page 15 from manual) are black in the vc but not in the 2d panel. hello everyone, is it true that companies prohibit there pilots to desengage autopilots during landing? in ILS approach -FAIL Passive the landing is performing with dual autopilots until DH , the first autopilot is disengaged and the second while the touchdown. i'm confused . regards

Hi all, I currently have the piston duke v2 and thoroughly enjoying it (when I said thoroughly it means immensely). I thought about also acquiring he turbine duke because it looks like the piston duke but slightly different. But since I already have the piston duke, and I'm not a GA nut, is there much reason to also acquire the turbine duke? Does the quality of the turbine duke match that of the piston? Or there really isn't anything different, and rather save the money for a different aircraft type from either RA or other high quality developers? Thanks for advices. Cheers
