Version 1.6 is out and the following is not addressed : 1. Frame rates down from version 1.4 2. VOR2 still indicating the wrong direction with no DME 3. ADF still incorrect direction indicating. 4. Never had any problem with FSX-SE until today. Loaded the sim and all looked normal except the preview window was black. I went ahead and launched: No plane but it did have a shadow on a dark runway. Bits of scenery on the horizon but rest black with little white clouds. I went back to the plane selection screen and all my planes were properly displayed...went through the launch again withsame results. I restarted the sim several times, hen restarted the PC several times. During one of these STEAM started an update which took quite a while. Then went through that MS license agreement, etc. Still no joy. Went to STEAM to check integrity of data (or whatever) no joy Let…

From reading this thread it appears that several of you are using the F1 GTN units in the new T-Duke. I have no experience with any avionics suites other than default FSX. Since I can't get access to the F1 GTN forum until after I buy and register the products it's a limiter on doing any pre-purchase research. I do have a couple of questions I think someone here may have the answers to. 1. What is meant by "Fully Integrated versus (?) "Not Fully Integrated"? 2. How many planes does the F1 licence permit one to install the GTN units into in? I have been flying Flight Simulator since 1984 (yes, I am old) and FSX since it came out in 2006. My problem is that when I am vectored to a ILS approach to KSFO the CDI needle is on the wrong side for the approach. I have tried updating the navaid base with no difference. It happens on all runways at KSFO that have an ILS approach. All other airports work fine. I am using MTX 6.0 and have made the blg. for KSFO passive and that didn't work either. I recently updated my OS from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Other than that I don't have any add-on aircraft. Appreciate any ideas. Bob G.

Hi all, and thanks for coming to my forum! This has been happening for a while, and after many trial and errors with changing settings (turning them all the way up, back down, medium, some up and some down etc.) I've almost given up. After a flight, and it doesn't matter how long, quite often the airport terminals disappear on landing. The jetways and AI traffic are there, as well as taxiway and runway markings, just simply no terminals. Which is weird considering the default airport i took off from was perfectly fine. Hi all, Was hoping someone could help me out. I recently purchased Aerosoft's Kilimanjaro Airport add-on through Steam. However, after installing the add-on I get the below error message each time I launch FSX: Flight Simulator is attempting to start "SODE" (Version 1.1.0.0, Config Entry Number 2). Do you want to run this program? DLC\379550\SODE\SimObjectDisplayEngine.exe After uninstalling the airport add-on, the message stopped appearing. Has anyone encountered this before? Hey guys, i was wondering if you could help me out with something I've been looking for a program that will let me run a little business on fsx using my Twin Otter Extended, A2A C172 and Airbus. I have looked around all over the net and have come across quite a few suggestions but none of them seem right. FS Passangers is nice, but i don't only want to deliver passangers, Also it seems to interupt my Airbus X Extendeds checklists, leaving me stuck. I have flickering problem and i've been trying to fix it by changing settings in Nvidia Profile Inspector. After some time I realized that those settings do not affect to FSX. Have anyone experienced the same issue? Driver ver is 372.90 Inspector 2.12 I'm pretty sure I'm not doing a simple mistake, but please challenge me. Like: Antialising mode -> override any application setting Apply changes -> clicked after change DX10 mode is disabled fsx.exe is linked to Inspector's profile Antialising and filtering settings are only affected when changed in FSX's display setting dialog. I think its time for an upgrade for these gauges. These are what I personally recommend a gauge editor would consider taking into when redesigning the default 737 gauges Boeing PFD, MFD, EICAS font Black background (bluish color looks weird) Smaller text PFD speed needs to be revised MCP screens needs to be bluish These are what I would recommend doing. Make it look like PMDG or similar.

This just happened now - I was taking off from runway 1R at McCarran airport in the PMDG 737 when my sound in FSX just quit on me. When I attempted to turn it back on, no sound came out and my framerate dropped to 2fps. I have no idea what's wrong. Could it be a driver thing? Some help would be appreciated. Thanks! FredricG

Hello everybody, I'm planning on getting a flying licence in the future and I'm just wondering... If I master planes like PMDG 737, 777 or A2A C172 etc., will I be able to fly the actual plane in the real world? I've got all sorts of add-ons to make the environment as realistic as possible. I had previously posted this but it was in the wrong forum. IE P3D forum I just took the jump into 4K simming with FSX and for the most part I'm enjoying the new experience. I have a few questions if you guys can help out. My setup is FSX (boxed), Windows 7, 4790K processor and a GTX 970. I was using a 23inch 1080p monitor and have upgraded to a 40 inch 4K Samsung TV. I'm running at 30hz and 3840 X 2160 resolution but with some decline in my FPS. If I understand correctly I'm pushing a lot more pixels and that's causing the reduction. Am I correct there? I run at full screen and if I go into windowed mode and reduce it to about half the size my FPS goes …

One day after loggin on to flight sim my home screen became really big this makes it really difficult to click any of the buttons on the bottom. Does any one know how to fix this?

When stating FSX I get an error message saying " SCENERY .CFG file error. Invalid remote scenery path in Area .001. Click OK to continue." Area .001 is FS9 World Scenery. I'm not sure if there is a path to that scenery. Usually deleting the offending area and reinstalling it solves such a problem, but I don't want to delete what appears to be a basic FSX file. Any help would be appreciated.

A question to those who own the QualityWings avro RJ/BAe 146 collection. After buying the Justflight/cls 146, I would rather have an Avroliner over the original 146, I just can't quite get the knack for the old style autopilot the 146 has. I got the justflight one for its simplicity, which is where my question comes in. With the QW Avro RJ, can you get it to follow a default flight plan created in the FSX flight planner? Also Is there a GPS panel pop out to track progress of said flight? Any help would be appreciated.
