I am doing a clean install of FSX / Acceleration, ORBX Global and NA (then possibly vector) on a Win 7 pc dedicated to flight sim use. I'm admittedly not terribly tech savvy so excuse my questions in advance. The setup includes a large suite of Saitek controls and instruments. My questions are: 1) (FSUIPC versus. SPAD): Is one better -- easier to use; and more stable -- than the other? Is it necessary to install both?; 2) (Saitek device drivers): Is it necessary to install the related Saitek drivers if I am using FSUIPC or SPAD?; 3) (Install Sequence): If using either FSUIPC or SPAD, should I install it before or after the FSX install -- does it matter? It seems that this app by Inquisitive Graphics for ios Ipad has not been updating past cycle 1602 in months. It no longer appears in the App store. Did I miss something regarding their demise? Its a great app. I am afraid if it gets deleted from my IPad i will be SOL for reinstall. Doe anybody know whats up? Thks

I have an HP computer with 2.41 GHz, 4gb of ram, and a Nvidia GeForce GT 730 graphics card. I have looked though the forums and I've looked all over the internet and I can't find any good tweaks. I need help for PMDG aircraft mainly, because I get about 4 fps on the ground and about 10-15 in the air. But I need help for other aircraft as well. Any help is appreciated! -Sujay Rao

Hi All, I was thinking of adding some of the VFR Regional software to my collection on FSX and I was wondering if anyone has experience of the software. My main concern would be frame loss or loading issues when approaching the region. I know it's going to boil down to PC Spec but in GENERAL is the software PC friendly so to speak. Being a fan of planes with complex systems and a huge fan of the dc-10 What is the systems level of the cls Dc-10. I know it's a FLITE aircraft but what does that exactly mean in terms of the simulation level? Thanks

Hi pilots, yesterday I had a strange problem during my flight with FSX-SE (PMDG NGX, enroute). Normally I have free disk space on my FSX-SE hard disk of 5-10GB. During flight I got a message that I run into low hard disk space. Then I observed, that the free space was decreasing by a rate of 100-250KB per second. I checked Steam and other programs, but no program was downloading anything. On the hard disk are only my FSX-SE. After restarting the computer I have still no free disk space on it. Currently I am not able to locate the files which stored the space yesterday. Do you have any idea? Did you observe the same behaviour one time? Thank you very m…

Hey guys, I have this issue and i cant figure out what it is... I've had restore almost all the default textures in FSX-SE but nothing happened, same issue. I dont want to restore FSX-SE from the begging because i have so many add-ons. I will appreciate if anyone can help me. This is only in Amsterdam area, i didnt noticed anything in other towns.... Has anyone taken the plunge and bought the newly released Aerosoft Genoa? Aerosoft airports are usually very good visually and the available screenshots look great, but I have been caught out a few times by performance hits from some Aerosoft airports, so I'm now more reluctant to part with my cash until I have seen some reviews, particularly with reference to VAS usage etc. Unfortunately I have noticed that Aerosoft in their support forums tend to be quite dismissive of any requests for performance related updates or fixes for their products, usually responding by saying that it worked well on their test system. When I'm in the payware Twin Otter with floats while in the water it doesn't move with full throttle. Everything else is working and I can even hear the engines revving up but it just sits there. My default planes with floats do take off.

I tried doing a couple google searches but couldn't seem to come across anything like this. Basically what is happening is I am getting strange out of place tiles under most of the default airports, where the background should be. As you can see from the pictures it can be water, roads and just different texture tiles. Another strange thing to note, they change as you fly/slew over the airport. I have tried disabling all add-on scenery as well as disabling GEX and UTX. This is at North Las Vegas- KVGT https://postimg.org/image/vys7h5isx/

Hello, Sorry in advance if this question has been answered before , I tried using Google but could not find my exact issue. I just bought my first payware aircraft the Turbo Duke V2 , which is awesome. My issue is that when approaching say PADU ( Dutch Harbor AK ) the gps garmin 500 will not fly the procedure way points at all. I see the approach options and no matter which one I pick nothing happens. Even the way points in this area hitting the direct too does nothing. I don't mind flying manual at all just hoping that someone might have an idea has to how I might be able to get this to work. It will work on some airports. Cheers and thanks

I'm curious how these work together, does an increase in the Buffer Pool size also increase the VAS used? I did a quick test to check by changing my Bufferpool to 0 and my VAS usage at the gate was around 2.1gb. I then changed my Bufferpool to 500mb (500000000) and it seemed to increase my VAS usage to ~2.7gb. Is there a direct correlation between these values or did something in my quick and dirty test scenario unknowlingly change?

Hi. Does anyone know of a good freeware or payware Boeing 717 for FSX? I'd really like to simulate some of the Delta 717 flights. I'm aware of the one being developed by TFDI, which is not a well known or well established developer, but it looks like they've been working on it for over 4 years already, which doesn't inspire much confidence. Help any one Ive had a complete fresh reinstall of my system and finally moved over to FSX Steam Im having dificulty configuring the Saitek Joystick and Rudder, Its been recommended that for the PDGM 737 the throttles are configured through FSX which I have done and Ive tried to configure the elevators, Ailerons and Rudders through FUSIPC. however when I have done this the Ailerons only move 2 degrees in either direction the elevatoes only move about an inch forward and back and the Rudders hardly move at all. Ive tried running them back through settings within FSX-SE and taking out any conflicting commands in FSUIPC but I get the same. the Joy stick is calibrated an…

Compared with P3D 3.4, the screen rendering of the FSX and FSX-SE pictures looks very pale and somewhat washed out. On the other hand, being a professional photographer and usig my screen with photoshop and other image programsm I do not wish to modify my calibrated screen setting. Thus, I am looking for a way to increase the contrast of FSX pictures from within the program. Is there a way to do it with a specific action, for instance in the shader section or any other way. Hey. Do you guys always fly complex addon planes like PMDG 737/777 and Aerosoft Airbus? I never really flew the Default King Air in FSX or prior versions of FS and been feeling like putting an improved FDE on it and giving it a go after many year of ignoring it. Just been wanting to try less demanding planes and be able to put on demanding scenery (Like Latinvfr KMIA etc) as my system can't manage both. Not only better fps,but a more relaxed flying experience than a PMDG/Aerosoft and faster than most of the carenado/alabeo planes I have - better for longer flights - 300+ NM. Hi, I Have PIS RCTP and RPLL installed. RPLL works great. But when I make an approach to RCTP as I get to about 500 feet all the nice tarmac textures seem to disappear. Sometimes they appear again before touchdown and sometimes they don't. I'm not running DX10 mode and I've got all the settings as the manual suggests. Any ideas?? David

In Europe the textures seem to be less 'glitchy' patches like in the screenshot but more different sorts of city/rural textures mixed together even though they don't fit together. For some reason I have a feeling my ORBX is forcing textures into my sim twice, but my FTX Central settings are all good. Could I delete some .cfg files or texture databases or registry entries to fix this? I really don't want to reinstall FSX completely. Also: since this started happening my g…

When FSX SE is fired up I get pop-ups (4) that I have to OK twice before the sim. starts. The pop-up reads; There are multiple objects with the same title name. They must have unique title names. PMDG 747-400 LCF PMDG House Livery Sim Objects\ airplanes\PMDG747-400f This doesn't appear to effect the sim in any way but the pop-up must be clicked eight times total before it can proceed.

I don't often ask for help, but here goes.... I have a Thrustmaster T-Flight Stick X. I have just come to notice that with all axes correctly assigned and calibrated, when I move my slider control to change the throttle, it also moves the aircraft rudder pedals, making control quite difficult. Have have re-calibrated several times, confirmed that the joystick axes are correctly assigned, and also checked to make sure that the slider is not assigned to anything else hidden away somewhere. Everything appears to correctly assigned. I am using it with Autorudder disabled. I have searched but cannot find anything that would be able to correct this. Than…

I have difficulty starting the engines on jets. Specifically can't find the start buttons on the Blue Angels planes. Also, what is the assignment for auto start of jet engines? Thanks.
