SInce I reinstalled FSX and P3D I'm not able to pan or scroll smoothly in the virtual cockpit..I have great FPS but when panning with the mouse/hat switch or scrolling with the middle mouse button or keyboard, it is jerky. I didn't have this issue before I reinstalled so I am guessing it is something in my configuration. Looking for help. Thanks.

A joy to fly, but not easy. Excellent panels and documentation in English! Did my first ILS approach into Marseilles.......still sweating. Can't get the reverser buckets to work. Hi. I have just tried to allocate keyboard commands to different camera views, and not Joystick. When I edit the cameras the keyboard command is accepted and highlighted in the key sequence box. So far, so good. However, when I run FSX the keyboard commands are not doing any changes. Any ideas? All aircraft types selected and VC selected Enable live camera and ELC control both checked.

For some reason I am unable to adjust via Pitch Bank or Yaw. Any reason why?

I love the DHM affects but they do not work as they should within VR. Is there anything in the pipeline to enable these effects?

Hi All, I'm wondering if anybody has any suggestions for good add-ons for FSX, which aren't primarily visual in nature. A lot of popular ones seem to be either new aircraft or scenery, neither of which are particularly useful to me as a blind pilot. I maybe interested in new aircraft at some later point, but for now wonder what else is out their. I have MyTraffic, which seems to do a great job of making the skies feel a bit more alive, and Radar Contact for ATC. I've heard about FS Passengers, but don't know how well it will work with Its Your Plane or my screen reader. Please feel free to chime in with interesting ideas

I am running FSX-SE using three monitors and the Cockpit Tooltips does not show any data (just the + and - sign).I am using Direct-X9 and the Cockpit ToolTips box is checked. If I uncheck the box, quit the game, restart the game and check the box back on it works ONCE and then reverts back to not showing any data. It will also work if I press ALT-Enter and use just one screen. This is very strange, since it worked perfectly until I reinstalled everything on my computer. I have contacted the sellers of FSX-SE, but they have no suggestions for me. Any Ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hi All, I ran into something odd today when I tried flying a jet aircraft for the first time in a while, and opted to let Its Your Plane handle fuel loading for me. It can apparently summon a truck just fine, but I noticed when I tried to subsequently close the doors for departure that they refused to budge. SOme digging has suggested this is a bug with the FSX fuel trigger at larger airports. Their are some reasonable workarounds, such as just using the fuel and payload dialog, but it's still a little annoying. Does anyone have insight into this? THanks

Hi, I am trying to learn how to use default GPS to guide me into ILS glide scope. What I am doing: 1. Select airport from the nearest, ENTER, Activate 2. Press "PROC" button, select ILS runway, VECTORS and ACTIVATE. Now I have some nice flight plan loaded into GPS with ILS approach. But what I can't understand is that it seems that it doesn't guide me to ILS glide path, but FROM it. It usually flies my airplane directly to the airport, than in reverse direction through glide path, then makes loop back to the airport. Everything would be fine if this would come in reverse order. Now, what am I doing wrong? And the second question - is there any way t…

Airport Details: The airfield is uncertified Landing permission not required. I made a plg in Plan G with two intersection waypoints. I exported it as a pln. I loaded it and flew the plan It does not show in the FSX Flight planner map as correct (no intersection waypoints). When I loaded it into the NewGPS it showed as a red route except for the two intersection waypoints where the route showed white. It flew the right route. I have no idea why the Flight Planner doesn't show it right. I also don't know why the intersection routes show white. Can we enter intersection waypoints using the default FSX Flight Planner? Hello, Before you get all crazy about the following, I would like to inform that I am only here to get inputs on what I ask, and not something regarding pc's, either stationary or portable ones. I am looking to get a new Macbook Pro, which means I'll combine both Mac OS and Windows OS, on the MCP. Thus, this means I am able to run FSX and that leads to the main question. I've been comparing the 2015 and 2016 MCP versions, and I am in any case looking for a maxed out CPU, but staying with 8 GB RAM and the standard GPU. So, Do you guys think there will be any remarkable change in running FSX on a Macbook pro with 3,4 ghz (2015 model) compared with 3.6 …

Just a very quick question about which files contain the rain and snow effects of FSX? I use DX10 with Steves Fixer and noticed I can adjust the rain brightness but not the snow effect. It looks fine during day, but its not visible during the night. thanks in advance

I am using a Plantronics 655 USB with FSX. The volume is low with all sliders set to max. The headset is correctly identified. The GUID number in the FSX.cfg is {4AE63266-DF03-4911-91C7-237077ED2AB0}. I am using WIN7 64 bit and all me audio sliders and mixer volumes are set at max. The volume control on the headset is on max. The volume with Skype and all music and video files is OK. I talked to Plantronics Support and they had no idea why it would be low only in one program. Could someone please tell me how to get the weather request pop-up in Active Sky Next. I had a problem with the program and deleted it and then re-installed it. I use to hit crtl+F11 and the pop-up would work, But now I don't remembe how I got it ti work. Any help will be appreciated. Arnold

Hi everyone, I'm sure the various offline traffic products on offer for FSX have been discussed ad nauseam On the forums, Both freeware and payware. My situation is quite specific- I use a program called voice attack to bind simulator commands to voice commands because I have limited use of my hands. Therefore, once the aircraft is off the ground it is 100% voice control. Given the above I am looking for a traffic product for FSX that minimises the setup I have to do. World of AI is out because of the protracted set up. What I am really looking for is something that I can install once and that will keep me with up-to-date models, repaints and flight plans going …

OK... I just got my new system built MOBO Asus M5A97 Ram 8G CPU AMD Vishera 4.2 4530 QC Video Nvidia EVGA GTX 750ti PSU 450Wat I am perfectly smooth with no burps in FS9. So, I loaded my 8 year old copy of FSX and am getting 20-28FPS with IFly 737 and T2G KSEA scenery. So. Would I see better performance with P3D. I need to know what you all think before I get to much invested in FSX? Amd...What is Stream for FSX. Does it improve performance or a waste of hardrive space? Thanks Randy
