Hi all, I've been playing around with Air Hauler and decided I wanted to try running a bush operation that served the excellent bush strips included in the ORBX TAP Tapini and AYPY Jacksons International "experience" packages. Unfortunately these airports either don't have AFCAD entries at all, or they exist with no runway listed, so AH can't use them. So I made some AFCADs for these strips, to include invisible (zero width) gravel runways long enough that Air Hauler will now build jobs to them. Works great now. I've been working on trying to figure out why I'm getting blurries suddenly with FSX on both machines and I found this, and was wondering if it actually works as advertised?

I have GSX and love it. But the fuel truck is US style, different from the flatnosed European trucks we have. I also have REX Worldwide Airports, and that includes a lovely European style fuel truck repaint for the FSX default truck, Now, I'm wondering if, and how, I can swap out the GSX fuel truck with the new REX truck. I can identify the GSX truck in Simobjects, but there are so many versions of the default fuel truck, I don't know where to start. Has anyone messed with the fuel truck before? EDIT: That's assuming the REX European fuel truck 'is' a repaint, and not just a new model, in fact, it does look completely different and has turning wheels etc. I …

Hi, before going further I'd like to say this is not a comparison of the graphic. Both enhance the texture enough for my taste. I'm using AS16 now and I'd like to ask how is it different when using AS16 + REX to when using AS16 + ASCA ? Are there any advantages when using ASCA with AS16 that REX doesn't support? And, AFAIK, ASCA is only the cloud texture while REX has cloud, sky, water...? Can all these 3 work together and does it affect the VAS a lot? (without HD textures if there are any). I'm using REX soft clouds now and I think I need something...better I guess. Thank you!

I was trying to solve why my laptop which has a better graphics card in it than my PC is giving me the blurry textures. It auto set everything to ultra high, which is kind of funny considering the warning I got after changing the aircraft detail to low and then closed FSX. I have a GTX 1060 on the laptop, so that shouldn't be the issue at all. So I ask here, what prompted this warning? Do I not have graphics drivers installed or something? This warning occurred after I hit x to close the simulator. I was flying in FTX's Scotland near Edinburgh with the VRS superbug, that might have something to do with the issue possibly. I haven't tested my laptop fully yet however.

Hello everyone I have a quick question about Ezdoc. I just changed from FS9 to FSX. After 10 years using active camera I'm going to need a replacement. I read Ezdoc is a favorite, but I have a question about it before I buy it. I use a laptop to fly my sim, so I need to know if Ezdoc allows you to navigate around the VC via the touchpad and then control live cockpit controls with the touchpad while in navigation mode. The videos I have watched seem to show Ezdoc navigation control via keyoard shortcuts and then instrument control on stationary panels, but I can't fly like this. Hope you can help & thanks

May I please ask your advice on ActiveSky please. I have the full suite of REX products and wonder whether ActiveSky would further enhance the weather or am I duplicating? Any advice gratefully received. George.

Hi, I have a setup with Saitek gear, rudders, yoke, throttle, second throttle, trim wheel, Gamepad controller and a labelled custome keyboard with key assignments. For weeks or months the assignments work well. Sometimes I load a flight and they have all returned to default. I takes me 30-40 minutes to reassign everything! It was initially, I suspected, because I was plugging in and out a joystick. However I leave it plugged in now, and to prevent conflicts use the FSX controls section to reduced sensitivity to zero and null zone to 100%, it seems to work well. anyone have any mods for the Electra by KBT such as reflections removed from the cockpit windows and the engines off and ready for starting. I hope someday someone might improve the VC, the model is great!

Actually this is a Topic für FSX (all versions) and FS), since the first planes with flexible wings also show up at FS9 now. But since the flex-wing-aircrafts came first in the MS-FSX, I place my toppic here. By flying the A380 created by pairbus I noticed the flexwing to go into the wrong direction. In the FS-world, the tipps are going up, if you turn the plane down. And if you raise the nose, the wing-tipps turn down. Well, in reality the wings are carrying the fuselage and the effect is just the other way around. Hello.. I don't know how many people answer questions the last post I saw was 2009. My fsx steam version for a lack of a better word plops down like it does when it lands. Smoke comes from the tires and everything it does it every time I change views. My frame rates are stuttering too. Has anybody got a solution or suggestion. I would greatly appreciate it . Hi all. I was recently looking at one of Jeroen Doorman's videos on youtube, more specifically the one landing at Heathrow X with Aerosoft's A319. I noticed the "incredible FPS" he got which like usual I checked the comments for fsx.cfg tweaks (bad habit). I've been living under the impression that the Ventubo automatic tweak (which Jeroen Doorman utilizes with the almost exact same setup as I) is a waste for most high-end computers. I'm currently running an I7 4770K OC'ed to 4.5 ghz + a modest GTX 760. I don't know why, but by just enabling bufferpools=0 and affinity mask in my CFG, I only managed to get 17 FPS in the VC of Aerosoft Airbus, and that when NOT looking …

I'm frustated after searching around the whole day, so let's keep it short and simple.. I just installed the CLS 767 for the second time, and the problem I had before appeared again. The VC works perfectly fine, except that the windows is greyed out, they're not transparent AT ALL. I had this problem before, and found a solution, but I CANT find it anymore on the web! Hi Guys, i've set up a new System with i7 4790K @ 4.5 Mhz, 16GB Mem and a GTX 980 TI and WIN10 OS. This i will not call a "Low End System" :wink: but .... after fresh Install of MS FSX i got terrible Stutter even with the default planes . As i dont want to tweak in a first step i've locked my firewall and my online virus scan to deny any access accept i give my permission. I've found several process which want access but did not affect the performance. But then i found one process windows\system32\installagentuserbroker.exe which was doing a lot of disk access und internet access in the background and that caused my stutter. Trying to install REX Worldwide Airport updates, and I can't seem to do it. It tells me this can only be run from a "bootstrapper". What is that all about? 2 files, resinstaller.exe flashes and nothing happens. Other file is the one that prompts me with the bootstrapper. Stan

After noticing my amount of add on airplanes really piling up I thought I should ask other simmers how many add on planes they have or what kinds they are. I have the PMDG 737 NGX, 777LR/F and 777-300ER, A2A C172, PMDG MD11, CS 707. Which ones do you guys have?

Hi everyone, i purchased thoser jets ages ago and just found and reinstalled them, just to find out why I stopped using those planes: they are horribly underpowered. I use fs passengers and at around 70% load you struggle to get off the air on a smaller airport. After this, you can climb at around 2000 fpm but don't expect any accelleration while in climb. Especially past 25000 feet they have huge climbing problems. It usually takes half an hour to reach 32000 feet. Is there any flight model update for these planes around? Because i didnt find any in the file library? And yes, I did not forget to start one engine.

I've been trying to find some Ezdok profiles for the planes I haven't setup yet. The default planes come with great profiles, and I found a good NGX profile Word Not Allowed posted, plus the Milviz Baron comes with a profile. There are a few incomplete profiles floating around on the flight1 forums for some other planes I own but yeah that's all I could find really. AVsim has only 5 files of ezdok profiles in the library, they don't cover what I need. I'm wondering if anyone would be willing to share their full profiles (ecs file)? I have installed the free PAX Passenger Simulation for FSX and it work ok except that there is no sound when passengers are boarding. Anyone with the same issue? Somebody to help me about what may be happening? Thank you in advance! JM
