Despite having my traffic slider set at 15%, MyTraffic shows most of the Swiss fleet. Is this a known problem please? I was flying the Orient IL-62M, by the way. 0 John

I've seen so many scenery/clouds etc.. chats, but I've not yeat seen any talk about flight models. Surely, this is important? So, for someone who is happy with current scenery & eye-candy, any ideas, constructive please, between FS9, FSX, FSX:SE, DTG, XP?? (flight models only please!!!) What say ye? P.S. Hi All, I wasn't quite sure how to put this, but was wondering if their were any admins that might help me get a sense of what's around me at any given time. It's impossible for me to see the FSX map, let alone look outside the cockpit. I guess i'm hoping for some kind of "points of interest," feature, which might give me the bearing to any nearby VORs/cities/airports. I like the idea of being able to do my own route planning at some point, so a tool like this might be helpful for more than sigh-seeing. The key point for my purposes would have to be a non-graphical interface, which seems to limit a lot of the "moving map," style programs, unfortunately. Any…

I had an issue with ImagineSim KCVG. Installed the installer from my SimMarket download and it works okay. But download the patch from their website and overwrite all the files and now my south cargo ramp is empty all the buildings disappear. Their support could not help me and now that I have FSX Steam installed, I have the same problem after downloading it and installing the patch from their website. Are there any owners of KCVG out there who can tell me if I am doing something wrong and they do not have the problem I have with disappearing cargo buildings like the big DHL cargo hanger?

I'm curious, because sometimes I just want to fly between point a and point b and don't really care where in the world it is.

is there a Hughes Air West repaint out there for this plane?

Okay, I am not saying a BAD add-on in terms of quality or realism, I mean if your computer is seemingly "incompatible" with this add-on like there are so many bugs or problems you run into its not fun to fly. I have run into countless problems with the Captain Sim 707. If you look at my profile, I did post quite a bit about it and I felt like there were too many problems to keep posting. When I try to research how to fix these issues I find that almost nobody has the same ones. Hello, I have installed flyinside version 1.71 for HTC-vive Head Mounted Display for FSX. This setup works great, recently , at startup I see two different images in each lenses of HMD , left lens displays runway view, right lens shows aircraft virtual cockpit panel view, and both images flickers in respective lenses, I have to close an eye to see the displayed view for each lens. Which configuration files needs adjustments, to bring the views back to its normal view, (both lenses display aircraft panel view on startup), on computer monitor the same image to be displayed. I've been wracking my brains, trying to determine where these arrows could have come from. I much prefer the default progressive taxi indicators. Any ideas how I can get them back please?

Hi all, Recently I've started seeing a very strange terrain issue. Water appears in the middle of nowhere in the shape of blocks. It's not just the texture either; it really is water (when I landed on it, the sim threw me back up to 500'). Notice how on one of the screenshots, a satellite view appears (as if I was in top-down view, and zoomed out). Has anyone encountered this problem before? Thanks!

Bonjour, After installing the last version, I found the 4.72.2 one, and copy the OPUSPDK_V3.dll in the module folder, eveything related to the camera doesn't work. (Nothing special in the spy log) Then if I disable the Prepar3D interface everything is back and is working. What could be wrong Cheers Claude

water in my scenery is a tan color. I can't figure out how to make it blue.

Since moving to FSX-SE I installed process explorer and found it very useful. However, for some reason, it has recently started rolling the displayed items up and down the screen. It didn't used to do this and it makes it almost impossible to put the curser over an item to highlight it or view the program. Is there something that has 'kicked in' that is running in the background. If so, I have been unable to find it. Has anyone got any ideas about this? Thanks. Here's a YouTube video. Hi all. I am ditching FSX-SE to go back to FSX Boxed-Acceleration. (I missed the PMDG JS4100 too much). I have just finished the initial install of FSX Deluxe, and I see that the flights and missions and all that are not in the MY Documents/Flight Simulator X Files folder like they should be. The folder is there and just contains logbook.bin and nothing else. Shouldn't all that stuff have been installed in a fresh install? I installed into my SSD drive, D:FSX. Could that have something to do with it? Thanks!

Some advice please? I have an issue with FSX:SE on a PC that previously had FSX on it. You see I am sure that I should have PDMG options in the pull-down Add On menu within FSX:SE? When I launch FSX:SE the option to configure anything related to PDMG 737 NGX is missing - firstly is this correct, and secondly - how would I go about fixing it? Thanks in anticipation. George

Hi, Has anyone else had problems with Xtreme ? I bought the software (PayPal acknowledged the receipt of funds) downloaded it, but now even after 5hrs I still haven't been sent an activation code and nobody in their customer services have responded to my increasingly frantic request for help. Not good, in fact I'm p1ssed off, and have just posted a complaint into Pay Pal as well.

So I recently got my computer back after several weeks of not using it, and when I booted up my first flight this month, the scenery was horribly corrupted. I have no idea what is causing this as it was fine several weeks ago. What could be wrong? http://prnt.sc/dknac7

Every so often the AP will essentially abandon the flight plan and start turning. Why? I had the plane descending via the WAYVE ONE STAR into KLAX and had connected the UPDOC waypoint to MERCE. I checked the format page and removed any duplicate fixes. It was looking good. Then, all of the sudden the flight plan disappeared and the plane made a hard bank right. I had to disconnect the AP and correct the action using DTO in the FMC. I also no longer get the ARM APP option in the NAV page. Using latest update, version 1.018e.

Since today some strange icons are appearing on my FSX-SE screen at the bottom right corner, I cant determine why, what are they and how to get rid of them. The first icon looks like a Microphone and the second is a circle, I have a screenshot but I don't know how to attach it to this post. Can someone please give me some help? Regards, Simbol

Hello I have a question about affinity mask settings. I have a 4ghz quad core system and it appears the system has 8 logical cores so which affinity mask setting should I use, I tried a 84 setting and I kept getting freezes due to one of the cores getting overloaded, so my question. What setting should I use to make sure that core #0 is not being used. Thanks for the help. Signed Jon.

I have CaptainSim's 767 Base package installed on my system, however, the jets are not appearing in the Select Aircraft dialogue of FSX. The aircraft models have been installed at .../Microsoft Flight Simulator X/SimObjects/Airplanes/CS_B767_300 All texture folders are there, and each has a thumbnail. The aircraft.cfg file appears all in order with each aircraft having its own fltsim number. I can select CaptainSim from the Publisher menu but all I get are my C130 aircraft, no commercial 767's. The aircraft variations are all available for configuration in CaptainSim's Aircraft Configuration Editor. Is anyone able to advise why I am unable to see thes…

excuse my ignorance just a question on one of the instruments above the artificial horizon indicator it's got a switch you can switch to N1,HLD,N2 and the readout has NM,KT,MIN I am assuming it's a timer of some sort how does this work I can't seem to get the figures to change to anything but zero?
