Want to train or fly like real world pilots do? This topic contains a list of real flight simulators around the world. If an owner or member knows the location of a real flight simulator, please PM me and I will add the simulator to the list. This way, if a member is traveling to that city, living in or near the city, they can set up an appointment. Please include a link to the site. This morning I had planned a flight a nice flight from Queenstown to Christchurch but when I tried to bring up P3Dv4 I got a message telling me a file was missing. I shut down the computer and did a hard reboot but the same error popped when I attempted to bring up P3D again. So for the umpteenth time I uninstalled P3Dv4 and will fly P3D no more forever (sorry Chief Joseph). For two or more years I've struggled first with P3Dv3 and then P3Dv4. Not constantly, but enough to make this old man decide to give it up. All the while I spent days writing to tech support and waiting for replies that didn't work and then the next one that might have worked; or hours resear…

Hi everyone, I new to the forum but not flight simming. I just recently got back into it. Hoping someone shed some light on how private pilots fill up their fuel tanks if they fly to remote airports that do not provide fuel stations? Bush flying, desert flying, or even remote locations in the forests. Is it through local ppl or private fuel companies or something else? Thank you

Hi to all of you. I'm looking for a model of Piaggio Avanti 1 for Prepar3D. I have tested Mario Noriega freeware and it is very good but my request is much higher since I'm building a real demonstrator into a cabin of Piaggio 180, therefore I need a most likely professional development. Anyone can tell me where I can address my reserch? It would really help and it is also urgent. Thank you to all of you who can send me any suggestion or link. Andrea

I realize this is a bit inane, but I'll ask anyway. At what point do others ask for clearance when flying on VATSIM or other online ATC services? 1) Turn on avionics, tune radio, contact ATIS, contact clearance, program FMC, etc. or 2) Turn on avionics, tune radio, contact ATIS, program FMC, contact clearance, etc. or 3) Turn on avionics, tune radio and program FMC, contact ATIS, contact clearance, etc. Thanks, Ernie

The annual DC-3 Airways World Rally will be flown during the month of November 2019 and will consist of 10 flights spaced over 2-day intervals. Only DC-3/C-47 types will be allowed for all flights and will start with a Total Weight of 22 000 lbs (Payload 1700 lbs, Total Fuel 2000 lbs). Being an Air Rally, the aim of the flights is to accurately fly each leg in order to complete it as close as possible to the "target time". I hope Boeing don't miss the boat with the release of the 797, the MAX debacle has really put them behind and it would appear Airbus A320/A321 NEO and LR/XLR are taking a lot of orders to fill the void. Anyway, the 797 looks promising. link to AirlineRatings 797 story

United 93, American 11 and 77 and United 175. I can’t imagine any of those flight numbers are still in use. Have they all be mothballed?

I have been reading that the super rich may have a problem finding private jet pilots and staff for their aircraft in the future, so much for global warming 🙄.

This A.M I have an email that REX Studios is having a contest to win a Honeycomb yoke and button system. I go to Honeycomb Aeronautical website and still no purchase page. After following develpoment of what I saw as a promising budget yoke and throttle system for years I consigned it to vaporware and decided to stick with CH if my system turns belly up . Anyone know anything?

Not sure what others are thinking, but it seems like Honeycomb Aeronautical has gone AWOL. For the past two days, they have been absolutely quiet with minimal posts. It was asked about delivery and they replied to a post on facebook stating that all domestic deliveries were enroute and that if you hadn't received a tracking number, to call their 1800 number. Unfortunately, it seems like their company number goes straight to a voicemail. They're not returning phone calls. No emails have been returned. They're not answering questions on facebook anymore or messenger for that matter. There were a few individuals who managed to use the FedEx app to track their package vi…

Somehow I missed it yesterday, but someone published in Airliners.net a good tribute to KLM on its 100th anniversary: https://www.airliners.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1432559 I hope you like it. And, of course, HAPPY 100 YEARS, KLM!!!🥂
