I'm using the latest version of AAO with the latest versions of MSFS and X-Plane. When I use the X-Plane version of AAO, "Test with 0" or "Test with 1" doesn't seem to work. Anyway, I've tried all sorts of commands, and nothing happens in the cockpit. If I then select a command and assign it to a button on the X-Touch Mini, it works. Is there any other setting I need to adjust to make the testing work?

  2. Started by B777ER,

There is a thread in the main MSFS forum I’ll link below where I read people are using spad.next to 100^ interface with the WinWing EFIS and FCU hardware thereby bypassing and not even using the WinWing app that one would usually need. Does AAO allow for this as well? I’m gonna be buying their hardware and would love to use AAO for it as I am familiar with it and use it for my Streamdeck.

Using MSFS2024 Latest SU2 Beta with AAOHs 4.52 b39 with Bridge connected to VrInsight Airbus FCU, 2 flights, one of about an hour EGCC-EGJJ and one mucch longer OMAA-VRMM, both times sometime during flight OOHS and Bridge stop working. Close both down and try to restart but it will not start. Never had this problem before

  4. Axis and Ohs is working fine for Fenix, but if i load up the INIBUILD A350 the AAO shuts down instantly. I have no idea whats going on, is anyone else is expereincing this?

  5. Started by Domestos,

I have written a script to do my after-landing flow in the A350 but I'm not sure which command I need to turn the transponder to standby. Can someone help. Bear in mind I'm not really sure about anything relating to coding and such. I'm looking for something like this (>K:PMDG_737-TRANSPONDER_STANDBY) but for the INI aircraft. Thanks Jim

  6. I just started messing around with the FlySimWare Sierra C24R and I noticed that it has a throttle where if you drop the engine RPM below a certain value it shuts stuff off due to not enough electrical. I keep hitting that value when I descend and lower power or during landing. Is there a way to make it so the throttle behaves like it has a cutoff stop? Like the Lear where if I push the throttle forward it goes forward fine but once passing a certain point I can't go back below that value unless I press a button to drop the throttle to zero like a cutoff. My scripting skills are pretty weak still so was just wondering if anyone has solved this kind of issue. Thanks!

  7. Hi! I'm searching and trying for quite a while now... Managed to get the RANGE knob on the G1000 MFD to accept zoom increase/decrease as well as pushing to enter the panning feature. However, I did not achieve to get the panning feature working. Via the event monitor I can see "[AS1000_RANGE_PUSH_MFD): -172,938746384 (>IE:AS1000_RANGE_PUSH_MFD) while holding the left mouse button and moving the mouse to either side. The value displayed is a positive or negative number reching from about -190 to +190 depending to where and how far the mouse is moved. I did try to send values to 0 IE:AS1000_RANGE_PUSH_MFD via keyboard or Stream Deck but the MFD pointer on …

I soon be building a new PC with a new Windows installation and migrating AAO's. I regulary back up the database. When I restore the database on the new PC, will that also restore all my aircraft templates and all my scripts ? Do I need to backup or export any other files so that I can restore everything as it is now before I make a dreadful mistake Would appreciate some guidance . Thanks Andrew

Thank you for constantly improving Axis and Oh's. It's the best utility out there. In one of the changes, you state the following, "added option to shift the output value (for example to utilize center and deadzone on a slider to skew the response curve". When I open the program and look at an axis page, I don't see anything that would allow me to use this new feature. Perhaps you can point me to it in the manual, or provide an example of this new feature. Thanks.

Using the AAO plugin on the streamdeck plus (MSFS2024), the long-press (Rotary) function doesn't seem to work at all. It is a bit confusing in the the rotary setup, as you have the left, right, push, etc, then the tap, then after that the 'long press', which left me wondering if long press was only an option on the tap function After trying various known good events in the long press fields, nothing seems to work. I can not get a long press. Using another plugin and doing the rotary as a midi dial, the long press works just fine, so I know its not any kind of issue with the Stream Deck... Anyhow, its troubling as I use long press to move between inner an…

  12. I think for most this is a minor issue - I'm trying trying to simplify my life and have everything controls related handled by AAO. 🙂 I don't see this issue with any other axis (so far) that I have AAO handling. Anyway, one of the last things have to move over from MSFS to AAO is the left and right brakes. For some reason when using AAO there is a lot of noise in the reported value. I'm using Virpil ACE rudder pedals. The example below I have the left being handled by the sim and the right by AAO. Flip-flopping doesn't matter, behaves the same just on the other foot - so it isn't a hardware thing. I've also looked at the axis in Virpil's testing tool and noise is always a…

Is it possible to use AaO to do the head tracking reset and eye tracking toggle binds? MSFS 2024 gets confused because I have three Leo Bodnar cards for my cockpit and it keeps reassigning those binds to all three cards when I only want it on one. AaO doesn't ever seem to get confused about the devices like the sim does.

Hi, I've somehow managed to add an 'Aircraft Automated Script' and I cannot for the life of me work out how to stop it running every time I load the aircraft up. I've spent the last couple of weeks trying but it's always there. Each time I load in the aircraft, or reset after a crash I have to select 'Scripting' - 'Aircraft Automated Scripts' and then remove script from the 'Manage Automated Scripts' box. It always comes back though. Is there a way to delete this permanently? I'm sorry to ask what I presume is such a basic question but I'm pulling my hair out. Thanks Dave

I am struggling to get the AAO WebAPI to work and am unsure what information you might need to help me figure out what I'm doing wrong. I will try to include as many details as possible. **My details:** - Windows 11 - AAO 4.51 b09 - MSFS 2024 (purchased from the Microsoft Store, not Steam) - Default installation location - I’ve created inbound and outbound rules for AAO and for ports 43380 and 43381 - I’ve completely disabled the Windows firewall - The AAO LEDs in the bottom-right corner indicate that the WebAPI is listening - MSFS 2024 is open (not in a menu) and sitting on the runway with a flight plan loaded - I’ve memorized the troubleshooting g…

  19. Hi, I find the variable watch function very helpful. Is there a way to select more than one variable at a time and add them to the watch window? Maybe I do something wrong: I have the Select Simulator Variable window open. I enter for exampe APU and press apply filter. I can only select one variable and do a double click. Afterwards I press Add in the Observe Variables in Simulator window. Thank you Detlef

  20. Please, I believe that many people like me do not use pedals in their setups. Therefore, for those who use a button or key for the brakes, there are problems with a delay of almost 2 seconds. This is terrible! Does an AAO script for progressive braking already exist or would it be possible? This would be a game changer in my opinion!

  21. Started by ark,

Below is a representation of a simple 3 line script that I use in FS2020. I am trying to help someone implement it in AAO, but I have never used AAO (classic case of the blind leading the blind! 🙂). I would appreciate if someone with AAO experience would post how and where this simple script would be implemented in AAO so it could be activated by a button or key. Thanks very much! 1 (>L:AP_PITCH_REF, Bool) ; put a 1 into the Lvar AP_PITCH_REF pause about 100 millisecs 0 (>L:AP_PITCH_REF, Bool) ; put a 0 into the Lvar AP_PITCH_REF

I don’t think that this is specifically an AAO issue, but the app has completely stopped working for me. Previously working ok (MSFS2020) but there was a recent Windows 11 update and a few MSFS updates. Everything is set to start as admin. The controls are shown and working in Windows. Default MSFS control configs work ok. None of my previously created profiles work at all. Joy2key has stopped working too, and my Saitek pedals disappeared completely (I suspect because Windows update replaced the driver with one that didn't work with security options on). My next steps are to remove and reinstall AAO but thought I’d ask here in case anyon…

I'd like to get the state of the Master Warn light for the Lear 35A. That way I can use an arduino that controls my physical cockpit and have it light up my master warn/caution button. At the time of the screenshot, the Master Warn was flashing, so the "Current Value" at the bottom of the picture was changing from 0 to 1. The issue is I can't tell the current value of what variable. Digging into the developer console (I'm new to all of this) I see the screenshot below. Is there a single variable I can check to see this flashing light? Thanks!

  24. My observations (testing some but not all aircraft, so might not be universal) In 2020 Sim, AAO mapped IE: events working for aircraft I have tested In 2024 Sim, IE: working for native 2024 aircraft but not for legacy (2020) aircraft. Events are listed in AAO window but have no action when used Is this something that Asobo is blocking? Obviously events have changed in the new sim. I see new file events.xml in native builds. Just thought I would mention in case you saw any chance of improvement in next version... Because I know a lot of users are trying to use their purchased 2020 aircraft in 2024. And using IE: seems a quick way to build co…

Hey there, I am still working on my own stream deck profile for the fenix A320 series. So its seams that in the stream deck plugin I cannot seem to "OR" three values. My "code" as of right now: (L:I_MIP_AUTOBRAKE_MAX_L, number) 1 == (L:I_MIP_AUTOBRAKE_MED_L, number) 1 == (L:I_MIP_AUTOBRAKE_LO_L, number) 1 == || As it stands it returns true if either "..._MAX_..." or "..._LO_..." are 1. Shouldn't that in theory return true if either of those three values are 1? Any help would be much appreciated, Thank you, Danno
