Hello, I looked through the manual and I must be missing something. I want to use the OnOff button that came with the AAO StreamDeck plugin. When I press the button I want the sim to PAUSE and the button to show it is selected (green light). When I press the button again the sim should un-pause. Sounded simple... Here's what I have tried so far: I believe I want to use: L:PAUSE_TOGGLE, Number In the actual button I tried this: Write Event: L: PAUSE_TOGGLE On Value: 1 Write Event: L: PAUSE_TOGGLE Off Value: 0 What am I missing? Thanks for your help!

I was reading over at the BATC discord , someone was running BATC on a Different networked PC. I really couldn't follow his instructions very well. Is there a tutorial on getting AxisAndOhs, to be able to do this. Thank you , Robert

Hello, I'm trying to learn how to read certain HTML H: events in MSFS 2024—or at least I believe they are H: events. Specifically, I'm focusing on the Garmin 650Xi in the H125. While I can see events when pressing buttons like Home or Direct, I don't see any events when interacting with the 650Xi's touchscreen (e.g., selecting Map or Flight Plan). Is it possible to use Axis and Ohs to capture these touchscreen inputs? I'd like to integrate them with a Stream Deck or possibly even Air Manager. Thank you so much for your help!

Hi. I am trying to assign the display change buttons in the CJS Typhoon via AOO to Streamdeck buttons. I have found the variables which change when I click the buttons in the cabin but when I assign them via script, to a Streamdeck button or just hit the test button in AOO, only the MFD buttons change, not the actual screen graphics. I cannot for the life of me find an event other than observing the values of the LVars change when I press the button in the cabin. The script I have tried is as follows, it is for the left hand configuration button ie map on MFD1, Engines on MFD2: 8 (>L:EF2000_MHDD_CURRENT_PAGE:1, Number) 1 (>L:EF2000_MHDD_CURRENT_PAGE:2, Number) …

I am trying to configure my 8-way switch to views. As a starter, I wanted to move my view height up but what event do I use? "EYEPOINT_UP" seemed logical to me but it does nothing. Then I used "VIEW_UP" but that did nothing either. In the controller configuration within MSFS2024 the action is called "DECREASE COCKPIT VIEW HEIGHT", but I cannot find an equivalent in AAO. There is nothing in the SDK that is like "view height" so there might not even be a way to adjust the view height.

  6. Hi All, I've been trying to script the rotary knobs for the remarkable freeware Fokker Friendship available on the ".to" site. Particularly, the rotary knobs for the Heading bug, the Course bar (1 and 2) as well as the Autopilot Pitch wheel and various Auto pilot select functions with No success. I'm a bit of a hack when it comes to scripting and have various success with other aircraft but not having much luck with this one. I'm trying to set it up for my Honeycomb Bravo Hardware. Any guidance would be truly appreciated, also, if someone has had any success, if they would like to share it. would be even better. Kind Regards T.

Hello, I am having trouble using Read LVars from Sim. It always fails. Here are the details: 1. MSFS 2024 2. AAO version: 4.50 b23 - MSFS 2024 3. Cessna 172 - base plane in game 4. Sitting on the runway with engine running I have uninstalled an reinstalled AAO. I also read and followed this information: https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/615879-read-lvars-from-sim-always-fails/ That package is in my Community folder. Any suggestions? Thanks

  9. Does anyone know: in AAO, how to assign a combo keypress to a script activation. Such as ALT-H? I thought I knew but it seems I don’t. I assumed selecting the script as the Key Down Event, selecting Keyboard as the Device, putting ALT in the Assigned Combo box, with suppressed key-down, and H in the Assigned button/key box would do it. But it doesn’t.

  10. All I am trying to do is set the Fenix Brakes through aao. I have the brakes set to select axis brake left ex1 and axis brake right and assigned to the proper tca rudder pedals. There is no assignment in msfs2024. Perhaps it is the new 2024 update that just dropped or the Fenix. This worked superbly under 2020 but no worky under 2020... Am I doing something wrong?

  11. Hi! It appears that somehow I managed to have some keybinds, despite being set to the default layer, be on a bewildering "Layer 0" - distinctly not layer "Default" where there is no layer number visible. In my screenshot "AP_APR_HOLD" wont fire if not on default layer. "VR RESET" will as per design. Interestingly all the Layer 0 commands are on the Honeycomb Bravo. If I create a new assignment with the Bravo the command is assigned "Layer 0". If I create it with Midi or Yoke it is working with the default layer not showing this ominous "0" and firing at all set layers. If I edit the keybind and change the layer (either in the overview or edit popup) it doesn't…

AAO version 4.51 build 09 has been released today. This update is mostly about bugfixes and improved compatibility with MSFS 2024. SimMarket already deployed it. Flightsim.to should be close behind, but they are having server trouble at the moment. Our contact at JustFlight is on holiday, but someone else will take care of the update. Changes in AxisAndOhs version 4.51 - Change: MSFS 2024: Autostart with the sim tested and enabled - Change: MSFS 2024: Merged MSFS 2024 SDK definitions for Variables and Events - Change: MSFS 2024: BVars can be used again - Change: Added (L:SimVersion, String) which contains the simulator version string that the app is c…

Hello dear RPN Afficionados, I was curious wether it'd be possible to trigger the highlighting of knobs and elements from an AAO RPN script and if anybody could point me in the right direction? It would be so cool to visualize which knob is beeing targeted by my poor overworked Bravo THQ Rotary Encoder 😄 Thanks in advance, cheers J

  17. Hi, Does anyone know if the scripting and templates for the Fenix A320 that were used with AAO, as well as the profiles for Lorby Bridge with VRI (VRInsight MCP Combo II), work with MSFS 2024? I have downloaded the latest version of AAO 4.50 b32 and managed to get it connected, with the radio screen functioning, but everything else does not seem to work. If new files are required, could you please let me know where to download them? Thank you in advance for your help!

  18. As the title says version 4.50b32 for MSFS2020 and MSFS2024 crashes when I switch to offline mode and try to load a template, not when I load a configuration. Thank you in advance for solving this😉. Jos

Hi there, I am extremely impressed by this app. It is very good. However, I have a frequent and repeating issue whereby during a flight, the controls set in AAO stop responding completely. I’m fairly certain it’s an issue with MSFS2020, which doesn’t seem to keep focus very well. I’ve tried restarting AAO, but the controls remain dead. Just wondering if you have any thoughts on this?

Using 4.50 32 am trying to put the fuel comp FSW Lear 35a buttons on stream deck. In the receiving events I see both switches go from 0 to 1 when flip. In the Select Sim Var I use native var in MSFS Input Events. But in observe variables show Generic_Lear_SW_COMPRIGHT_1):[0.000000 nothings happening. What could this mean? I can't find a profile with those switches.

  21. MSFS: 2020 AAO: 4.5 After upgrading AAO to 4.5 (MSFS 2020 installer), I noticed some of my StreamDeck buttons and Gauges stopped working. After some troubleshooting, I noticed the latest version, keeps IE variables all in UpperCase compared to previous version it was not. See attached images. I modified one of my broken scripts to have all uppercase IE variables and it started working. Now, the issue is, there are loads of AAO scripts/stream deck Scripts/Gauges with IE variables not in uppercase. So modifying them will be a nightmare. I went back to version 4.40 of AAO. Images shows the same IE Variable representation in both versions. https://i…

  22. MSFS2020 Lorby AxisAndOhs 4.50b32 WIN 11 Pro 24H2 I made a few scripts for a pilot monitoring, which announces the flap position for example. This worked very well with David English US as default voice. Because of a Windows problem I have made an in-place upgrade Windows 11. After the upgrade the default voice was a female voice. I only noticed this during the first flight, as it was no longer “David” speaking. After the flight, I set David as the default voice again, restarted the PC and then started the flight simulator. Unfortunately, AxisAndOhs still uses the woman's voice. My question, what can I do to make AxisAndOhs use David again, which is now the default v…

Hello, I stumbled across an awesome StreamDeck profile switches my camera view and it works great to switch to the MSFS base views. I would like to edit this code to select a custom camera view. What do I need to change to select, for example, custom cockpit camera #1? 2 (>A:CAMERA STATE, Enum) 2 (>A:CAMERA VIEW TYPE AND INDEX:0, Enum) 0 (>A:CAMERA VIEW TYPE AND INDEX:1, Enum) I really appreciate any help you can provide! 24. I've downloaded the new 2024 version of Axis and ohs and for the most part everything seems similar however when using the Bravo throttle my heading only moves in increments of 10 and the altitude moves by 1000. I was trying to map controls for the 737 Max. I'm mostly going back to 2020 until PMDG gets their 737 updated since control schemes have been a nightmare in 2024. I am worried that these issues will cause me headaches though when that happens. What am I doing wrong and how can I fix the heading and altitude bug issues.
