I have MSFS 2020 (Store Version) and AAO 4.56b19 installed on my PC, and both run perfectly.
Now I have newly installed MSFS 2024 (Store Version) on the same PC. All installations are in the default directories.
When I start MSFS2024 and AAO, SimConnect does not connect.
I reinstalled AAO, hoping that would fix the issue. Unfortunately, it didn’t work.
It would be great if someone could help me out.
Thanks, Stefan

	Hello,

I downloaded and installed the latest version of the A300 WebFMC (v2.5 last updated 26.12.2025) and I installed it as per the instructions and all the buttons work fine but the screen remains black despite trying so many things. I can confirm the FMC can be popped out in MSFS2020 but for some reason the screen is remaining black within the WebFMC page.

	http://localhost:9081/webapi/a300/index.html

	I have the following WebFMCs working fine: 787, iFly 737, PMDG 737, PMDG 777. Only this A300 FMC is causing trouble with the screen.

Can you please help?

Thank you.

	Good aftenoon all . I am not able to see L variables generated as strings inside an AAO Desktop FIP. Neither do I see it inside custom XML gauge inside the plane . Variable is generetaded in RPN script as in 'Sector_1'·(>L:Vatsim_ATC_Freq_Str,String) . As soon as i replace content with a number , say 133.33 the content is visible both in FIP and plane gauge. Maybe someone can help me out ?I have tried Text Element. and also Formatted Text. Thank you.

	Well, I’ve had a lot of fun with AAO+Streamdeck and at least I’m not as intimidated or demotivated as I was at first when I didn’t understand very well how to do things

	what I’ve noticed, though, is when rotating knobs or dials is that the bug will move like in a chopped fashion, as when you have issues with FPS instead of with that nice flow that happens with a joystick or a keyboard when you just map it within the FS settings/interface

	i think my streamdeck is connected directly to the PC and all peripherals (Tca joystick and quadrant and pedals) are plugged to a powered USB hub so all the motherboard surplus power should be feeding the StreamDeck without issues (and I removed that cap on the power that the ports can supply)

	is it supposed to update like that, with that stutter refresh mode?

	thanks

	Greeting to all you Young Uns. It seems that I need to create a button to turn on and off the Altitude Hold in the CaptSim C130, Maybe the 'Normal\Manual' switch too. I have difficulty swinging my view around the cockpit to turn these (and other features) on and off with the mouse chasing it around the screen, especially when night flying. The event seems to be 'CS_INPUT_P17_003_SW2| (>IE: ' but I haven't a clue how to create a button with it that will turn on and off this function. I have watched many You Tube Videos but the creators seem to rush on as if we all know loads already.

	Any basic starting points would be very helpful. Thanking you all in advance.

	So, I am pretty new to coding anything on the Stream Deck. After 3-4 days with a lot of help from ChatGPT I managed to code in a rudimentary way the autopilot for the FSS 727 using a lot of trial and error. I realized the hard way that even if you can change a variable in the Behavior screen of the sim, it does not mean that variable will change when the plane triggers an event, etc. (Example, the lights for ARM or ENG of the Autopilot Altitude Hold)

	Anyway, I am trying now to code buttons that will allow me to increase or decrease the EPR and the Airspeed bugs but I don't think they are triggering any events and even if I manage to change some of the variables associated, they don't move the bugs in the screen (meaning the animation, let alone the value).

	According to ChatGPT, the problem is there is no B event or IE event or anything associated, just the Mouse Wheel Up or Down that writes into a variable. Even if I change this variable, nothing happens. The XML shows this, though, for what is worth:

	<CLOCKWISE_CODE>(L:FSS_B727_CP_AIRSPEED_KNOB) 1 + (>L:FSS_B727_CP_AIRSPEED_KNOB)</CLOCKWISE_CODE>

	<ANTICLOCKWISE_CODE>(L:FSS_B727_CP_AIRSPEED_KNOB) 1 - (>L:FSS_B727_CP_AIRSPEED_KNOB)</ANTICLOCKWISE_CODE>

	or for EPR:

		<CLOCKWISE_CODE>(L:FSS_B727_PCP_EPR_KNOB1) 1 + (>L:FSS_B727_PCP_EPR_KNOB1)</CLOCKWISE_CODE>

		<ANTICLOCKWISE_CODE>(L:FSS_B727_PCP_EPR_KNOB1) 1 - (>L:FSS_B727_PCP_EPR_KNOB1)</ANTICLOCKWISE_CODE>

		But again, changing these variables via script won't move the bug.

	Hi,

	i will try to get this working, someone got a plugin for WinWing to get the screen of the WT21 CDU's from MSFS2024. its this plugin for the Community folder:

	https://flightsim.to/addon/105898/mobiflight-plugin-for-msfs-2024-wt21-cdus

	the .js script code says it sends the screen via: const MF_CAPT = "ws://localhost:8320/winwing/cdu-captain"; so i need a websocket -> HTTP bridge to get it to work with AaO.

	With my very limited programming skills and ChatGTP i just go the following code for the main.js

const express = require("express");
const WebSocket = require("ws");
const path = require("path");

const app = express();
const port = 9080;

const WS_URL = "ws://localhost:8320/winwing/cdu-captain";

let latestData = null;

const ws = new WebSocket(WS_URL);

ws.on("open", () => {
    console.log("Verbunden mit MSFS CDU WebSocket");
});

ws.on("message", (data) => {
    try {
        latestData = JSON.parse(data);
    } catch (e) {}
});

ws.on("close", () => {
    console.log(" Verbindung verloren – reconnect in 5s...");
    setTimeout(() => process.exit(1), 5000);
});

app.get("/cdu", (req, res) => {
    res.json(latestData);
});

app.use("/", express.static(path.join(__dirname, "public")));

app.listen(port, () => {
    console.log(`CDU läuft auf http://localhost:${port}`);
});

	my index.html for AaO looks like this

<!DOCTYPE html>

	Hi,

	I recently switched from Windows to Linux (Fedora distro) and am still grasping the ropes. Step by step I'm trying to get my flight sim setup up and running.

	Yesterday I installed AAO with Wine and ran into two problems. The program itself starts and seems to run fine, except that I can't see the menus (they are there but the text is not readable) and AAO is not connecting to MSFS24 (Steam version). Dependencies (Dotnet 4.8 and VCredist2022) are installed via my Wine prefix, so that shouldn't be the reason.

	Does anyone have experience with running AAO under Linux?

	Hi,

	I'm a physically disabled person, suffering from the SMA disease(Spinal Muscular Atrophy), I'm stuck in bed 24/7. With my disability, I have serious difficulties with anything because my weak muscles prevent me from pressing any buttons on the keyboard, I do everything using a laptop touchpad and an on-screen keyboard.
I know it's probably blasphemy for you hardcore simmers here but MSFS2020 was my first ever flight simulator and I used it casually as a way to sort of explore the world from my bed, but it was a nightmare because of my limitations.

	Then, I found AxisAndOhs and the Mouse Yoke feature was EXACTLY what I needed, I ended up accumulating over 300 hours all thanks to your tool. A few days ago I finally upgraded into MSFS2024 and I was so happy AAO still works!

Anyway, I'm rambling and not sure why I'm even writing this buuut just wanted to thank you for AAO and especially the Mouse Yoke feature.

	a new graphics card so I went to FS 2024 to use it. So, went and bought the 2024 version of AxisandOhs. Already had on FS2020 (FS2020 version of course). The 2024 version seemed to find my button definitions from the 2020 version. Used it once. Next time I went into sim it recognizes the aircraft but the ASSIGNED BUTTONS was empty. I went back to FS 2020 version to see what I had set up and recreated it in the FS 2024 verson. Again, used it once and gone the next time. I had done a database backup just in case. Tried to restore... no luck. If I go to offline mode and select the aircraft the button assignments reappear. Help! I have no clue why they should vanish.

	Problem is when I try to add a button in aao, it will not recognise the keypress on the numeric keypad, if I select the USB Wired Keyboard still no luck. If I select Keyboard then it recognises the keypress but it also recognises a keypress from the other main keyboard.

For the Ejets, the solution was to use a specific LVAR to assign the throttles (L:FSS_EXX_LEVER_THROTTLE_L_MOUSE_INP, Number and L:FSS_EXX_LEVER_THROTTLE_R_MOUSE_INP, Number).

	Hello,
when you're in the aircraft (for example, TFDI MD11 in AAO), you can see the axis and button assignments.
If you switch to the "avatar" camera view, the axis and button assignments disappear, and if you return to the cockpit, they reappear.

	Here's the problem: if you assign the "EXT_POWER_DOWN_UP" function to a joystick button using this script:
"0·(>K:#90142)·(SPLIT:100)·0·(>K:#90143)·" and you're in the cockpit and press the joystick button, "EXT_POWER" turns ON. If you switch to avatar view in AAO, the axis and button assignments disappear and become inactive (I should mention that the joystick button is still ON for "EXT_POWER"). Then, if you return to the cockpit in AAO, the axis and button assignments reactivate, and you press the "EXT_POWER" button in the overhead cockpit, "EXT_POWER" turns OFF. If you've assigned the same function to the battery, everything shuts down. It's quite inconvenient. Is there a way to work around this? Thank you in advance for your reply.
