I'm able to assign a layer change to my HOTAS 3-way switch/button. But only to the first two "buttons" of the switch. The third one for some reason won't bring up a layer switch. I've tried assigning different layers to this third switch to make sure it wasn't something with the third layer. The button is being seen by AAO, so I don't think that's the issue. Anyone have an idea?

Using AAOHS for a Behringer X Touch Mini to use as Buttons and Knobs, Mainly for Overhead. Also use a AAOHS Bridge for a VrInsight Airbus EFIS/FCU/COM all buttons and knobs work brilliantly. However on the X Touch Mini LED Lights work randomly, (Some come on some don't and some flash) Is there a way yo program the LED to work when switch is pushed?

Hello, Is it possible to connect the Flight Velocity Dual Encoder to Axis and Ohs so I can hit ALT, HDG, VS, etc on my Streamdeck Mobile or Streadeck XL and then use the Flight Velocity Dual Encoder to dial the correct value? I am very new to AAO but can'tseem to figure out how to add the Flight Velocity Dual Encoder to AAO. Any thoughts, tip or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance!

I got a lot of help of the AAO developer when i started developing my own gauges and wanted to summarize that in this tutorial for others. The new layout editor of AAO makes it a lot easier to start without any knowledge and this tutorial is describing step by step how to use it. I am trying to get my bravo throttle to work with the new FSR500 plane. I would like is to use about 75% of the upper part of the throttle range for idle to max thrust. For the bottom 25%, as I reduce the throttle, I would like the throttle to go into beta and then full reverse. I would rather not use the button below the throttle to go into beta/reverse. I have tried adjusting the various dead zones and center points but I have not been able to get it to work. My knowledge about configuring the axis are pretty bad. Can anyone explain how this could be done or point me in the right direction? Thanks

I've been messing with the demo for a couple days now, trying to see if it would help me map some things in the Duckworks DC-3 modded plane. And I've been successful in getting the cowl flaps and the superchargers to work, but I've not been able to do the one thing I was really hoping AAO could map, which is this pump handle which is needed for the autopilot. The dev tells me the lvar is HydPumpSelectorHandle and I can also verify this in the DevMode Behavior tools with the CTRL-G thing when you hover the mouse over the handle. Downloaded the demo and I'm impressed with AAO. Is there a Discord for people to discuss and help each other? Also, if I use AAO, should I then remove all my controller's profiles in MSFS? As in simply reset them back to default?

Hi, MSFS 2020. I am having an issue on the latest version of Axis & Ohs whereby when I use 'Templates > Apply other config to this aircraft' for a new aircraft (helicopter in this case), any changes made to the new config are also made to the one I copied from and any others that were copied from the same original aircraft config. I first noticed this when changing the 'Axis Min' and 'Axis Max' values for the 'Helicopter Tail Rotor Pitch' axis to try and tone down the sensitivity of certain helicopters tail rotor. Here is a code snippet from a AAO Gauge I am working on. The gauge simulates the KORG nanoKONTROL2 MIDI controller I use with AAO. A slider on the KORG controls the propeller and the code snippet controls the slider on the Gauge. Happy days (almost). I would like to avoid hard coding the Gauge with "(IE:ENGINE_Propeller_1)" and instead I want it to come from a Variable or Macro which can be defined elsewhere. I tried several ways to achieve this without much success! The use case is code the gauge once and then use configuration files to tailor it to match different air crafts. Hi, just purchased the software so still finding my way around. I have the Saitek panels enabled but find that the values in the panel e.g. ALT & HDG do not match the aircraft values. The Radio panel appears to be fine.

Has anyone using Axis and Oh's with streamdeck on MSFS run into an issue where IE vars stopped working? K, L B etc still work but my IE's, which used to work fine, suddenly no longer do. I have restarted everything including the streamdecks, computer, Axis itself. Reinstalled Axis etc. No luck. I am showing connected to the sim and I have the two green dots in the lower right of Axis.

I use a Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle which has a 3 position Flap switch...down/off/up Problem being that when selecting down or up to increment flaps by one stage, if you are not fast enough to return it to OFF it sometimes sends multiple messages and flaps go fully down or up ! If timed right it works, but very fiddly in VR,.. I saw a very old thread elsewhere where they said they used AAO to solve this but didnt detail how ..only that "I use A&O and assign Incremental Decrease and Incremental Increase to the Flap Switch." I use Axis and Ohs Stream Deck Plugin for a custom profile that has been working fine until the last AAO update. Now the 'Touch Tap' and 'Swipe' Events cause the 'profile' to reset to the first screen. It's almost like the app crashes and resets instantly to the first screen of the profile. Until the latest update, the profile was working just fine and I haven't changed my setup or installed any other software that could be causing a conflict. Something strange. Have not checked it with other aircrafts, but with the FSS B727, A&O detects a different button number press than what MSFS or Windows read. For example, both MSFS read Button 17, while A&O reads the same button as 16. I am very sure that I am pressing the same physical number. Any idea? Thanks. tc

Hey Guys, just wanted to ask if it's possible to read the door status? As per the SDK // Door state // Possible values are, 0: open, 1: closed, 2: closed and armed, 3: closing, 4: opening. however when reading the switch (L:7X7XCabinDoor1L, number) for example it goes between 0 and 100 when reading varriables. This is fine for open and closed, however not possible for armed or disarmed or opening closing for example. Basically trying to display it on a stream deck. Thanks!

This is probably very stupid on my part but I cannot get the msfs speech to text feature in AAO working. If I run the following script from the run script dialog I hear nothing. The VOICEDEVICE points to headphones that are identified in the extras list of sound device Id's. In fact I have tried all of the devices listed with no success. Hi, I have about 70% of the FBW A32NX FCU now working with the X-Touch Dials and button assignments. The 'Mode' and 'Range' dials on the A320 (I am using the flybywire version) are unique in that they do not have increment/decrement triggers but are an incremental number from 1 to 5 I believe. How do I script this against each rotary increment and decrement assignment using RPN if, else statements?
