Hi, I really like the product but always having a hard time navigating within the provided documentation. As a suggestion, it would be great if the pages in the documentation are numbered the table of content is clickable to be easily navigate to the different topics. I have been using the Stream Deck plugin for the PMDG 737-800 for a bit now and it works great. I have wanted to put the FMC on a tablet to make it easer to use in flight without going for my mouse and changing views, etc. So I got the addon from pilznille (https://flightsim.to/file/37664/axis-and-ohs-aao-fmc-addon-for-pmdg-737-for-msfs) and set it up, making the change to the .ini file for the aircraft and all that. Set the aircraft automated 737 CDU scrip on with the suggested 200ms delay and it all shows up on the tablet. Problem is, I can no longer use the stream deck. Once I disable to webAPI broadcast and restart the sim and AAO, the stream deck work, but the FMC br…

Hello everyone, I've recently downloaded the demo of AaO having been a long time user of another axis management plugin. I've so far managed to get axis assignments on the yoke portion of the Velocity one working, along with a number of buttons, but cannot get the throttles/vernier controls or buttons on the throttle bit to be picked up. It makes no difference in or out of sim, this behaviour is the same - but the devices are all responding to input fine in the controller dialog in Windows and if they have they are managed out of MSFS' controls dialog or the other axis management plugin (and yes, I have checked that both those alternatives are disabled before ena…

Hi, some days ago I wrote about a problem with AAo not starting in FS2020 under W11, and I solved thank to Lorby_Si installing .net runtime. Now, I started with a new problem, Lorby is very long to start and to became operational, something like two minuts without responding and then it seems to work normally. Initially it seemed to me a conflict between Lorby and IVAO Pilot Core, (prior to IVAO installation seemed working well), but now, also closing the Pilot Core module, Lorby need a so long time to load completely. Tried to get the FMC in MSFS working on my tablet (samsung a8). Works but no display input visible. The sim reacts to my input but the screen on the fmc remains black. Followed all instructions to a tee. What am I missing? The scripts are implemented, the firewall is working. I see the fmc on my tablet but no input visible. I discovered a strange behavior with PMDG when using AAO normal axis assignment for Elevator (instead of using the built in MSFS binding). With the 737 by PMDG, the aircraft doesn't react or not predictable when you are at the point of landing where you need to flare. it just doesn't react by pulling the stick or reacts unpredictable, which makes it almost impossible to Flare the Aircraft. the strange thing it only happens during flare but not during flight. it's like the PMDG during that stage of flight doesn't read the Elevator Axis input fed by AAO correctly or PMDG uses different algorithm during flare that somehow doesn't work well with AAO Axis input. Hi, I thought it would be simple to program a toggle switch, press it to turn on windshield heat, press it again to turn it off. But I've tried both button and axes and I can get it to activate when I push down the button, but it deactivates when I release the button. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Since the SU15 update, all my aircraft configuration clones are coming up empty and showing as *not* linked to the master.

This applies to x-touch and aa&o. If an encoder is first programmed as "right" "left" and toggle, the "click" of the encoder is fully recognized and saved in the combo field. I am able to save all the functions, and use it without any issues. So long as the original encoder is used as it was first programmed, everything works fine. The bug in AA&O appears only when I want to use all the same programmed functions, but with a different encoder in x-touch. For example, if encoder 1 is used for NAV1 for whole numbers left and right, and fractional numbers left and right, with the toggle option in the combo field, the right and the left rotaries commands ar…

I noticed it is possible to resize several sub-windows which get opened from AAO such as "Watch Simulator Variables" by using any corner of that window. Windows with this capability has a special marker on the bottom right corner of that window. I am looking to assign my dual 5 position rotary knobs to create a start up sequence for the Duke Turbine. I show in the video what it is that I am trying to achieve. I know there are LVARs for this addon for these events but not sure if there is a better way. For Lorby, if you do not own the BS Duke and there is a way I can buy it for you to help me, I am more than willing to do so.

Hello @ll, AAO has a problem with the current XP 12 beta. The XP file that contains the default DataRefs has invalid lines in it (line 406 to 409) and AAO can't handle them. When you try to start AAO it will fail with an error stating "Index out of range" or something. The offending lines in the file "\X-Plane 12\Resources\plugins\DataRefs.txt" are these: If you remove them, AAO should start correctly. I will make sure that an issue like this won't trip up AAO in the future (the fix will come with AAO version 4.20, which will be released once MSFS SU15 is out)

Hi, I couldn't find the option to change aircraft master... in manual it says templates -> manage but there is no manage... I did "apply other config to the aircraft" but I have to do it for each same type aircraft. Second issue is how to un-clone cloned aircraft.... Thanks.

Hi Ok, so been having issues with the default Saitek panels in Xplane and came across this piece of software, but now having issues getting it to work. Xplane and AAO are installed on the same PC. AAO installed and path set. Xplane dataref network set as described in the manual. The problem now comes that with Xplane running and the Cessna on the runway, I open AAO and click the "Connect" green dot. It now just hangs at "Waiting for Aircraft data" until the Demo time runs out. Is there a setting not in the manual that I am missing? Do I have to check every item in the Dataref Read/Write window? Hi, I'm new to AAO and just downloaded the Demo version for a trial for my X-touch Mini controlling the MSFS2020. Under the scripting, I was not able to see anything for "Watch simulation eventsor "Watch simulation variables" whenever I did some turning / clicking of MSFS. I suspect it's caused by the WebAPI. I've checked the Tools menu, the "Enable Web API on port 9080" was not able to be selected/enable. I've checked the port 9080 of my PC is okay and not blocked. Please advise any parameters need to set in order to "Watch simulation events" under "Scripting". My AAO Demo version is 2.81 b05 MSFS. I've checked the "port setting for the WEB" is 8080/9080 …

Hello! I am currently setting up the Black Square Turbine Duke. In the manual it lists a lot of its LVARs. One of them is for the Autopilot Pitch Knob. The knob in the Virtual cockpit has a middle position (zero pitch) and can be incremented up and down for pitching the airplane up and down. The manual shows only one LVAR for this knob, it is named: L:var_AP_PitchKnob and it has a Range of -15 to 15 I am trying to set this knob to a potentiometer on my Behringer Xtouch mini where a left turn of the knob should be Pitch Up and a right turn should be Pitch Down. And this time I have decided to run with it, and I made an X-Plane 12 compatible prototype of AxisAndOhs. I'm stuck on assigning an axis for the Duke. I used the following info to create the assignment for the axis: Create a new Axis assignment Type "L:var_AP_PitchKnob, Number" into the box where it says "Enter Variable" (if that is the variables name, I just got the planes an hour ago and haven't had time to look at them) Set "Axis Min" to -15 and "Axis max" to 15 Turn the encoder on the Behringer left/right until it is picked up by AAO Save Found in this thread I can get the axis to move by putting the correct LVAR info in the Enter Variable box but my problem is I can not set the Axis min or Axis max. This is an odd one. I created a script to play several WAV files, and they all work fine. In particular, I have a switch on my Bravo throttle set up so when I click it up, the two-tone seat belt sound occurs. I have that same switch set so when I move it down, the single-tone sound occurs. Those work perfectly, along with the other five or six WAV files I've set up. What's strange is that when I do ANYTHING that takes me off of the main screen and return, the single-ding "seat belt off" WAV file sounds. I can be on the main screen and double click any of my Assigned Buttons and go into them to look, and when I click Save or Cancel, that WAV fires. It even happens when I o…

Hello! I am no programer, this could be the reason if this question sounds dumb or so. I wonder if it is possible with AAO to create a script that executes LVARs one after another with a set time in between. For example, I want to setup one button for some after takeoff items to be executed one after another when I push a hardwarebutton. There should be some time (1 or 2 sec) between the execution and I want to use LVARs that I use for normal button assignment. Can anyone give me an example if this is possible? Thank you very much!

Is there a way to access string variables from the simulator like ATC ID, ATC TYPE, etc. in AAO? If I try (A:ATC ID, String) it seems to be a AAO local variable, consistent with the documentation. Thank you.

Hello! I found my old Saitek FIP and thought I might trie out what I can do with it in MSFS. I read in the AAO manual which settings should be active - but "Saitek panels enabled" is greyed out (see screenshot). I have the old 64bit 8.0.150.0 Driver installed and the FIP is showing the pictures and so on when plugged in. Screenshot
