Assuming a switch or control not found in the simconnect standard list: For native MS2024 aircraft the best approach seems to be mapping IE: events. And AAO finds the IE: names. It is not explicit but is clear AAO maps to the EventName_Set binding. This is perfect for a toggle switch. And indeed works fine for switches. But I have seen some controls that would be better served by mapping to EventName_Inc or _Dec. Example is a rotary knob. Currently I have to write a complex script to calculate the new value for the _Set. I wonder if it is possible to have the script parser see the override of the added _Inc. Hi everyone, I’m trying to create a script in Lorby Axis and Ohs for the FSLabs A321, and I’d like some help. What I want to achieve is: Turn Flight Director OFF Activate the BIRD mode Has anyone here done this before, or does anyone know the correct event IDs/variables/LVars/HVars that I need to use in Axis and Ohs to make this work? I cannot figure out how to display a window on the 2024 EFB using the AAO efb app. I was successful with displaying Sky4Sim following the example. Capturing a desktop window is another story. My understanding was that if the host/port are set to default, the capture to FIP command would do the trick. No such luck. Is it supposed to be wrapped up in some other FIP script? Can I have an example if anybody has done this? Thanks!

Here is an example of how to use AAO to access the MSFS cameras. With this WebPage for AAO you can create your own "sets" of MSFSs' predefined camera positions and use scripts to toggle through them. Once you've created some sets, the WebPage does not have to be open to use the scripts, you only need it to manage the sets. All this is free and open source - any web developer who thinks that this should look different, please feel free to alter it to your heart's content! I just encountered a possible bug, or something at least that causes me great pain.. I had a template which had a wrong assignment (heading increase & decrease was both actually using the decrease script), so I made the correction and went on to save the current config as template again, and selected to overwrite my existing template (already linked to the aircraft). Worked fine for that given session, however on the next simulator start, the template is completely blank. Unfortunately I didn't export the template, so seemingly there's no way to recover it... Or is there anything I can do other than redo the whole thing?

Hello ! I have two tablets on my local network. I'd like to create gauges for each via WEBFIPS. How can I manage two different pages that work together? 1 = MFD + PFD 2 = Flaps + Engine + Radio I can't find a solution. Thank you.

Hi, Maybe I'm missing something, but it would be wonderful if we could use whatever fonts we have available on our PC in the StreamDeck plug-in, instead of the few that are present at the moment. Are there any plans to implement this in future updates? Many thanks 🙂

Hi, Fenix has changed something with their COM1 Variables....the swap Button for COM 2 still works, but the K-VAR used for swapping COM1 "COM_STBY_RADIO_SWAP" does not exist anymore (The other buttons also changed, but it got it to work ... ) ... But i struggle on the Swap Button ... it looks like hitting the swap Button on the pedestal takes the stby freq as a variable to set this as active (instead of swapping) This is the Event when i hit the button in the cockpit EVENT: Cntrl= 67240 (0x000106a8), Param= 126855000 (0x078fa758) COM_RADIO_SET_HZ It works when i enter the Freq hard coded as a variable... but how to get the value as a…

I have downloaded a AxisAndOhsScripts xml. OpeAAO's, choose Import scripts, choose the xml file. AAO does its import. Where does this import go? I have looked in the AAO's document folder>Scripts folder and there is nothing. When i try again to import again , it tells me it already exists...But where.

I got the same problem using the XTouch mini. All my buttons/knobs/slider not working! however, my online templates works completely. The lights status also reflected in my XTouch mini. I'd tried the unplug/plug the USB and re-started a couple of times but no joy! I also re-started the MSFS2020 but no luck. Please advise what would be possible cause. (N.B. I haven't play the MSFS2020 for over 6 months, however I've updated to the latest version of AAO. Today, I've tried with different planes (Cessna172, FlyByWire Simulations A320neo), both are of same symptoms with online template functioned properly but not the actual XTouch mini)

Hi, I have a Saitek Multi Panel and Radio Panel, I had the Flaps switch on the multi panel configured to lower and raise the landing gear in the Fenix A320. Recently I noticed it wasnt working, on looking at the config I notice that each panel has 3 Config panels, two of which are Red and one not. They all have different midi channels. What have I done?

Hi, im using AAO 4.54 b08 with msfs 2020 1.39.9.0 trying to bind heading bug sync to current plane heading using included ACT_HEADING_TO_AP script which is (A:PLANE·HEADING·DEGREES·GYRO,·Degrees)·(>K:HEADING_BUG_SET) and no matter what i do - it just wont, everything seems to work: decreasing and increasing other values, AAO detects the key itself, script itself sees correct heading in debug window but nonetheless AAO just wont send input and green light on this bind never lights up. Literally any info and help really appreciated. AAO is in admin mode and plane selection doesnt matter - same result

Hello, I am stuck at how to set the FENIX A320 RMP knobs for frequency selection. I am using Leo Bodnar BU0836X card to interface my rotary encoders that I'm using for my RMP. I am using this L:E_RMP1_OUTER. Its the same for both Inc and Dec with the difference being the value used for Inc or Dec (I'm assuming, lol) I've tried 1 and 0 and I get the freq to change 1 digit and the it stops, can't male it go past 1 digit. Trying to understand what I'm doing wrong, any help would be greatly appreciated. Jose

Hi, I'm learning how to create scripts to complement Stream Deck profiles. I'm starting with a profile for the Miltech MH60. First challenge: a 3-position switch: (>IE:INSTRUMENT_OVD_AIR_SOURCE_SWITCH) 1 = OFF, 2 = ENGINE and 0 = APU Unless I'm mistaken, you need to use a SliderGauge on the Stream Deck, but beyond that, I don't know. My attempts (based on examples from other scripts) have been unsuccessful. I have a script that I can't delete. It's under the "Aerosoft" title (which appears first) and every time I add a new script, I forget to check and it ends up under that title instead of my second one, "Honeycomb" which is where I want most of them to go. I deleted the script (ASCRJ_CDU) and the group "Aerosoft" but when I stop and start A&O, it reappears. I used to have Aerosoft planes at one time, but I have removed them. I'm on MSFS2024 - where is this coming from, and how can I delete it for good? Thanks.

Hello to you. I'm very inexperienced with AAO and I'm having difficulty importing a template file. I get 'error at 1,1' when attempted. I've used notepad ++ in windows 11 to save the file, and confirm it's encoded and saved as uft8, not uft 8 BOM. Here is the code, as I can't as yet upload the file. I've imported the script file without complaint (but have no confirmation of this). Guys, after hours of struggling found this forum Set up everything and got the AAO to connect to the sim. It even shows the name of the aircraft that I'm in, but for the life of me cant get stream deck to actually work in the sense when I press a button the the deck, nothing happens in the sim. any ideas? Had to change the port and set the firewall rules to get the AAO to connect to sim but it finally did. Can't understand why the streamdeck doesn't work though. Using a Streamdeck mobile.

@Lorby_SI any guidance on how to transfer the templates and scripts (clone 2020 binds into 2024)?

I think there is something weird with linked templates when you add a "Fast Turn" assignment to an aircraft where a linked template already contains a normal (slow) turn assignment. In that case the slow turn assignment in the template is never triggered, when slow turning nothing happens and only when fast turning the direct assignment in the aircraft is triggered. When I apply the template directly to the aircraft everything works as expected, as well if both assignment (slow & fast turn) ar both part of the linked template.
