AAO is totally new to me. I am looking to 'delay', 'smooth' actions from the joystick. So, if I push the stick to the left in say 0.2 sec, I would like that movement smooth out to 2 sec. Create a feeling of inertia. Is this something AAO can do ?

I am trying to use available IEs to bind a virtual intercooler door on my plane to a hardware switch. The virtual intercooler control is a three position switch, where moving the switch in one direction opens the intercooler, moving it the opposite direction closes it, and releasing it altogether moves the switch to the center which has a null value (the intercooler doors remain where they were). I am attempting to create a toggle switch for a water injection feature on the Aeroplane heaven P-47. I suspect I will need to create a script. So I have 3 SD's but use the Plus as an AP in MSFS. Quite often, if I'm adjusting a dial... say for Heading ... there is a freeze and a few seconds wait, and the value has changed by 10 or 15. Are there any settings that improve this "queuing up" effect ? Thnx

Hello gents, I am new to AAO and am attempting my first binding. My first goal is to assign a physical axis (Saitek Throttle Quadrant lever) to the turbocharger lever found in the Aeroplane Heaven P-47D (which has no in-sim binding). Thus far, I have managed to bind the two, but strangely enough, when I move the physical axis on the Saitek, instead of a smooth response from "off" to "full", I get an on/off style of response in roughly the middle of the lever's throw instead, i.e., I move the physical lever a ways and the virtual lever snaps from one end of it’s travel to another. No in-between. This is not what I want. Can anyone more familiar with AAO give any helpf…

Sometimes my AAO becomes unresponsive and doesn't work until I get it in the foreground. Then it works a couple of minutes again. Maybe someone have a hint for me?

Hello, Still have a problem with the popouts, Now I have a new monitor 3440 / 1440 ultrawide If I want to popout the CDU of the Blacksquare spaceship, it does not find the correct clickspot. Also if I do track and change mouse position it does not work. The preconfigured mouse position is totally different then the ones in the json files. In the main json files it says that I have a 4K 3840 x 2160 resolution but that is not correct I have Ultrawide. It seems that the mouse position AAO finds is not correct when I put it i the config Json files. Does it have to do with the wrong resolution in the config.json files? Gr. Robert

I have a single button on my joystick that is causing spurious inputs. It is interfering with assigning other inputs. The “ignore input” selection is a big help, but I need to remember to do it for every new assignment. Is there a way to permanently ignore this button?

Hello, The app will open and I can start to assign inputs on a fresh a/c but after assigning a few of them or if I click into an assigned function the app will semi-freeze and will show the spinning circle and "Not Responding" alert. Usually have to kill app via task manager - or wait a VERY long time for it to become responsive again but then just one click on anything will send it back into the semi-frozen state. Empty community folder. Latest build. Uninstalled previous FS20 and FS24 builds and only reinstalled FS24 version. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

During my flights, individual LVAR values are sometimes no longer read correctly. I then have an incorrect speed display on my Streamdeck, or no value is displayed at all. When I check the value using the “Watch simulator variables” function, an incorrect value is also displayed there, which does not correspond to the flight status. I can solve this very easily by opening the script editor and closing it again immediately. After that, the incorrectly read value is correct again. However, since I have to exit full-screen mode to do this, it is a bit cumbersome. So my question is: is there a script that allows me to achieve the same effect and that I can then call …

I notice that from time to time when I open A&O axis window to make a few changes to the assignments, the axis changes to either a different axis or even an axis belonging to a different USB device. Once an axis is recognized by A&O, is it possible to lock it? I have more than one usb controller and at times A&O gets confused. Perhaps there a more sure way method that I'm not familiar with so that an axis, once it's recognized, remains unchanged.

I was a few months without using AAO and today I downloaded version 4.52 b26 from JustFlight. Strangely, AAO is freezing. Checklists load slowly, scripts execute slowly. For example, when I press the PTT button there’s a delay to activate and to deactivate. What could be causing this?

I am having issues attempting to assign ‘Brakes’ in the iFly. The generic sim commands in 2024 are not working using Landing gear/Brakes – Brakes (increment brake pressure Parameter N/A). That works perfectly with the PMDG aircraft. I understand that the iFly interface is quite different to PMDG. I was hopeful that some learned folk here may be able to point me in the right direction to create a script to achieve this. I use the trigger function on my Thrustmaster 16000 joystick with the ‘repeat’ function ticked in ‘Assigned Buttons’. As title, this happened after my last msfs2020 flight session which freeze my PC. I had to force restart my PC in order to continue to use it. I find all other panels in AAO (e.g. Lorby Airliner Flaps;... VSI HiRes) are okay except those L; M; S; & XS panels of XtouchMini. I've reinstalled the latest AAO's update (LorbyAxisAndOhs_4_55_b26) with no luck, any idea on this issue / any file likely corrupted ? I have also tried the WebFIPs, those sizes of panels are able to be display (but blank panels only) the labels and controls are not able to be loaded.

I'm having problems showing/hiding the HUD in the iFly 737Max8 in MSFS2024. There's a VC_HUD_MOVE_VAL Lvar that controls the position of the HUD but if I set the position to fully down the information display isn't visible, just the HUD panel. Does anyone have a script that pops the HUD up/down correctly? Thanks!

I had to reformat my computer and reinstall everything and now AAO will not load. It seems to install just fine but when I click on the icon nothing happens? It was working fine before, so I am not sure why it won't load not? Thanks for any help in solving this issue. Ed

I have lost all access to my Stream Decks while using MSFS2024 and AAO. This is completely my fault as I feel I went down the wrong path in trying to fix it. At first I thought it might have been a Windows 11 update from yesterday, so I rolled that back but no change. I think where I made a mistake in AAO was in the Hardware Change dialog. I may have accidentally deleted the entries under "Configured Devices in database". They are not showing up under "Connected Devices" either. Any assistance would be appreciated if there may be a way to recover from this error. Thanks in advance...

Hi Lorby, I am trying to pin down the behavior when I initially start AAO in the cockpit, it takes several minutes before the program actually shows up (task bar and window)... and at times when I change assignments, the program will go unresponsive (but never crash). Was this due to some hardware I need to blacklist - or any other reasons?

I use several Stream Deck profiles from the most prolific creators on Flightsim.to and I create some of my own. I have noticed some of the xml script group files have over on million characters, mostly contained in <edition> tags that pertain to fonts and typography. For example one file, A320Neo.xml, has over 1.1 million characters and takes so long to load into AAO that it hangs the program. But the version I made with the <edition> tags deleted loads in one second on an overwrite of the existing scripts. And all of the actions work on the Stream Deck, so I have demonstrated that the <edition> tags are not needed. I want to inform the profile creators …
