  1. Before I go through and change all the aircraft control assignments in MSFS2024, is there any user experience regarding which is the better way to go? Should I use AAO or the MSFS2024 control assignments route? MSFS2024 assignments are SO slow.

    Putzing around with X-Plane on my new system. I normally fly 2024, but saw that AAO works with X-Plane. Does anyone have a template or scripts for the Zibo Mod? I cannot seem to find one or a repository.

    I got the webfmc working, but would like to recover the hidden window (the as530 window). I can't find it, and even when I pop the window out without AAO running I cannot find it. Is there a way to recover it?

    AAO 4.54 build 08 has been uploaded to the shops just now. Please give them a couple of hours to deploy it. This fixes the problem that InputEvents (IE:) would not work with MSFS 2020

  5. Hello, yesterday I mange to update axis and ohs and the rotarys in the stream deck plus on the Fenix A320 on MSFS 2020, ALT, HDG and SPD stopped working, the only rotary that still works is VS. I am using Guenseli latest profile. Tried deleting and installing all related plugins, profiles and nothing worked. It was working perfectly on an older version of AAO. Hope a fix comes soon. Thanks

  6. hello everyone, since yesterday when I use lorby aao with the pmdg 737-800 I have problems with the use of the AP. In short the autopilot does not follow the FD, but if I close lorby and assign all the axes in msfs the problem disappears. Yesterday before recording this problem I was trying to create a script for the automatic camera reset when the ministick of the TCA YOKE PACK BOEING EDITION is in neutral position. Since I did not succeed I deleted the script. Could I have damaged the device profile in lorby in some way? Has anyone had the same problem? Thank you! Regards, Davide PS: sorry for my English

  7. Hello friends. Would it be a big deal to add multi-selection ability to the Axis and Ohs user interface for "Observe Variables in Simulator"? The use case here is if I wanted to add this entire list of "MODE" filtered variables to the watch window, I'd like to be able to hold down the shift key or drag across the array and add them in bulk. https://imgur.com/a/Ojfvx3x Thanks so much.

  8. Hello again. I've just updated to the latest version for MSFS 2020 i.e. 4.53 b19. I now find that the display for the MFD IE events has changed and I am at a loss to understand what it means for my SD+ buttons. The MFD ENTER button in my SD+ no longer opens the MFD in the default C172. The Heading Sync button does not work either. However, the Yoke Hider one does. I have most of my SD+ buttons set to use the IE Events. I'm not a technical person, but I can use the option to watch the simulator events and I see that it still shows as IE Events when I use the mouse to action the MFD Enter button in the sim. Once I open the MFD, I find that the softkeys no longer work either…

    Hi Just updated to this and many of my scripts didn't work. I only had time to test with the Black Square Baron. It's working fine on the previous version (4.51 b09) Looking in the script editor, many of the IE entries are missing. e.g. the event to press enter on the AS530 I collected all the H and B vars before starting the sim and L vars once the plane had loaded. Have I missed something? I uninstalled the 4.53 and re-installed 4.51 and all is working here.

    This may not be possible in AAO for 2024 say for the Gxxxx Garmin units (specfic use case is the Longitude), but might there be a means to manipulate CAS messaging. For example, I would like to know if say reverse thrust is on with a CAS message to that effect (if not message then it would be off/normal). Or if anyone has an alternative? Thx.

  12. I'm trying to understand how to do some things using the Stream Deck AAO plugin. Specifically, use an event or a switch, to both assign a value to a variable then execute a script statement, or to assign a value to a variable depending on the current state of the variable. I'm guessing what the plugin does, under the hood as it were, is to compile a script statement in the form: x (> y:variable) using the value in the value box for x, the value in the variable box for the variable and the value in the drop down box to select the variable type y. So, if that is correct, can I put any script items I want in the variable box as long as the first bit is just the name of th…

    Quandary #1: The button assignment below is calling the following script which works just fine when testing in the script editor: 1 (>K:THROTTLE_REVERSE_THRUST_TOGGLE)\n (A:GENERAL ENG REVERSE THRUST ENGAGED:1, Number) 0 == if{(SPEAK:REVERSE THRUST ACTIVATED)} els{(SPEAK:REVERSE THRUST DEACTIVATE)} Because the throttle is normally out my camera view on landing, I wanted to alert that the reverse thrust is active or not. The script also works fine when using the "Test" button in the Change Button Assignment window. However, when I activate the button (which BTW is located at the bottom of my throttle axis handle on the Velocity One Quadrant) the event work…

  16. Whenever I choose AAO to be started automatically with MSFS2020, my xTouch Mini invariably becomes unresponsive after a short while and I have to close and manually restart AAO. If I chose not to start AAO automatically, but start it manually after the sim has loaded, I never get this issue. Any ideas?

    I'm trying to implement looping behavior in an AAO MSFS 2024 script. Here is what I've got in the editor: :loop·\n 49907·(>K:ROTOR_BRAKE)·\n (WAIT:100)·\n (L:SWITCH_499_A,·number)·0.5·>=·if{·(GOTO:loop)·}·\n However it doesn't appear that the GOTO ever executes. Here is what I'm seeing when I watch the script: Call: 49907 (>K:ROTOR_BRAKE) Pr2: 49907 (>K:ROTOR_BRAKE) Call: (WAIT:100) Call: BLK:C:\Users\xxx\OneDrive\Documents\LorbyAxisAndOhs Files\Scripts\af3ad8fa-1b30-4c2f-8d4c-f584da6af864,(L:SWITCH_499_A, number) 0.5 >= if{ (GOTO:af3ad8fa-1b30-4c2f-8d4c-f584da6af864|loop) } Pr1: 0.711 0.5 >= if{ (GOTO:af3ad8fa-1…

    After losing random bindings after updating to SU2, I would like to use AAO for everything moving forwards. 1. I know how to save and link a master template but I haven't figured out how to edit the assignments, or add more, if I am in a different livery/aircraft to the one that the master template was created in. Is this possible? 2. If I create a general set of controls e.g.throttle axis, gear up/dn etc, how can I use this as a baseline and then add custom controls for specific aircraft e.g. Condition Lever for Turboprops? 3. What I am struggling with is how to create, save and then apply a master template over multiple liveries without having to select i…

  21. If you encounter problems with your Thrustmaster TPR Rudder in MSFS, and therefore with AAO also, I post the solution here. It is no secret, but took me several hours to find the culprit and the final solution. The more places we have, the better people find it. ok, whats wrong: MSFS and/or AOO sees the Rudder not as slider, but as axis with a center position in the middle. Therefore it is not possible to brake as brakes center at 50% if you step off the brakes or they do act otherwise strangely. Solution: DO NOT use windows joystick calibration! If you have the problem, follow these steps prvided by Thrustmaster itself…

When I’m in the game and I do simconnect , it will seem that it detects although I am in the device ( his name appears ) and I have the two small green light on the software , I load the profile of the plane on streamdeck but when I press a key , on the stream deck if there is a light on my key this one lights up at the press and then turns off also tot and on the …

    Hello, I would like to suppress an axis with one button (my AP on button) and then re-enable that axis with another button (my AP off button). I see the toggle option but is it possible to use another button to un-toggle it? What I am trying to accomplish is when I hit the autopilot on button, my joystick axis movement is suppressed while I fly. Then when I am near landing, my autopilot off button re-enables the joystick movement. Thanks

    Since very recently, my keyboard stops working when I try to enter or change a digit in the axis menu (e.g. aileron) of a given a/c. And even worse, the keyboard completely stops working even when aaos and MSFS were closed again. I have to disconnect and reconnect my keyboard usb cable to bring it back to function.
