  2. Engine Spool-up / Spool-down The PT6A-41/42 engines in your B-200 model spool up and spool down at less than half the rate of the real aircraft. This is very unrealistic. As an ATP since 1973 with over 16,000 flight hours (including 13,000 as a civilian), over 4,500 in PT6As of various dash numbers, and 2,000 hours in King Air 200s with both -41s and -42s, I know what I'm talking about. Can we fix this problem?

I was looking at the pics of the new 206 and it looks like the G1000 equipped sticker is on the plane toward the rear of the cowl.

I mean no offence at this post its simply my opinion I love their older planes because their models are stunning! They've used the same G1000 on there last 3 planes for example the new 850's G1000 is clearly a copy and paste from the C182 as it shows that the aircraft is a C182 in the menus. It seems like they don't care to fix the problems with their planes as there are still unsolved issues with the King Airs. Since the C182T they seem to have the mentality of oh well lets just slap a G1000 in it so we don't have to make new gauges and I expect the new C206 will be the same way. Is this company getting lazy or trying to move forward into an all glass line up?

  5. Hey I have made some new adjustments to the light cfg. 1. New stropelight astern as the real thing have. 2. Adjusting Nav and stropelights at the wing, now you can see them. 3. Adjusting white nav astern and the beacon top and the buttom. Make a backup of the aircraft.cfg first ! Then use this new string: [LIGHTS] //Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing light.0 = 5, 0.65, 0.00, 1.00, fx_vclightcarcn light.1 = 10, 1.20, 0.00, 2.90, fx_vclightcarcnb light.2 = 10, -4.80, 0.00, 4.00, fx_vclightcarcn2 light.3 = 10, -9.50, 0.00, 3.85, fx_vclightcarcn2 light.4 = 2, -1.09, -23.90, 1.14, fx_strobecarcct, light.…

Was wondering if Carenado would consider adding the ability to create flight plans in the MFD of the G1000 as a patch/upgrade to other aircrafts with the G1000?

After Hammering my CC on the superb Carenado Sale and getting a selection of great aircraft, I was just thinking, how about a Carenado 'Wish list'...I have some thoughts and I know that some of those listed below will have been made in 2004 and by some talented designers but to get any with the full 'Carenado HD FSX' treatment would be fabulous. :Praying: Carenado obviously have a penchant to Piper and Cessna aircraft and for good reason, they were and still are two of the most popular manufacturers of the GA aircraft in the real World. The newer types coming along from Carenado are indeed beautiful models and we all eagerly look forward to reading any news on th…

Recently bought the Carenado A36 and Saratoga for X-plane. I have been having sound issues with both and only these planes. I get a crackling noise from the speakers when throttling the engine up and down. Anyone else have this issue? I have written to carenado for help but they don't have any answers. I have explained to them that I have tried everything (2 different audio interfaces, clean x-plane install, no scenery or add-ons, reduced rendering options). I am running a Mac Pro 3,1, 2.8 ghz x 8, 12 GB RAM, Nvidia GTX 660, OS X 10.8.3, and X-plane 10.21. I would appreciate any help or if anyone else is having this problem let me know so we can give Carenado more …

...G1000. Just have a look at their FB page: Now with two PFDs. But I probably won't find out how performance will be, because after the Cirrus, I have no need for another "polished default G1000 aircraft" in my hangar. I truly hoped for something with GNS 530/430 in it...

Carenado has the Cessna CT206H now in the Incoming Projects section. What do you think-will it be a glass or steam cockpit? My guess is it will be a glass cockpit. http://www.carenado.com/CarSite/Portal/index.php

Hi everyone I want to practice IFR with my carenado´s C206 and I have doubts about different engine cruise power settings. Until now I usually fly following square rules. I suppose 23"+2300rpm it would be the high cruise but I don´t know what are the correct settings for a low and medium cruise. I searched in the carenado´s manual, in a real 260 PoH and I´ve google several hours but I did not find nothing about this. Someone could clarify this question? Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone, I send a message here, because I am unable to drop a message on the Carenado support (The website does not send me a password). I am flying the PA-34 seneca in XPlane. Under 32bits, it works perfectly, but I have no sound with the 64bits version. Any idea about a solution, or an update ? (Nothing yet on the Carenado website). Thanks, Vincent

Gentlemen, I honest to goodness love the planes you make and bought many of them over the years. Every new release becomes better and better in quality. This brings me to the following, Would you guys ever consider making light jets ? Eventhough there are a few out there I still believe we really lack a good choice of light bizz jets in the flightsim world. Would love to see the Lear Jet range of Aircraft being made or something like it. Any way, just a thought. Keep up the good work Cheer, Rick Melcher

How man people would like Carenado to start to include a VC Model of the Reality XP 430/530? I've you've ever flown the RealAri Duke you'll know what I am talking about. Think of it like this, all they have to do is spend a little bit more time developing it for ONE airplane and they use it for EVERY airplane they make from now on! So many people retrofit the Carenado planes with the RXP stuff but it usually doesn't look as good because you loose the 3D knobs. If you don't own any RXP stuff I suggest you go check it out! It is by far one of the most ADVANCED utilies out there for FSX. It's literally a PERFECT bug free GPS that is capable of RNAV LPV and WAAS Approaches, a…

Hi guys, i've got a problem with carenado c182T and pa46, both equipped with garmin g100 the first and g500 the second one: I've installed spad and everything works perfectly but the course function: when i try to rotate obs it happens nothing! With the others aircraft equipped with "standard" instruments this function works. Any suggestion?Thank you.

  22. I have a general question about Carenado aircraft and updates. if I go to My Account on the website, I can download the full installers. There's also a column that says "Activation key / Upgrade available", and many of the products have an active "Update" link. I'm pretty sure that those updates are already included if you download the full installer after the date indicated by the service pack, but I just want to confirm this.

Ok, does anyone know where the knobs are for the GNS units in the panel.cfg file? Carenado says if I just remove the gauges the functionality of the knobs would go away, but it doesn't happen for me. So I'm guessing the knobs are their own gauge. I'm not asking to remove the 3D object of the knobs, that's part of the .mdl and I'm not going to attempt to mess with that (though it would have been nice to get a little exe like they had for FSX) But the functionality of them remains and gets in the way of the RXP units. Sorry for the brevity, I'm about to leave for work, hopefully you understand what I'm asking. Thanks

I posted this in the painters area too. But not much activity there.: So this is my first paint. I am using Carenados paint kit for the 206. When I add the logo to the tail it is reversed on one side. In the paint kit it shows both sides of the tail.

  25. The Carenado Piper Seneca II comes with a minipanel that displays the most important instruments on a narrow black strip but that is much more easy to read than the virtual cockpit. A very important instrument I am missing there -and there is plenty of space- for IFR operations is the DME. When doing IFR (and why not VFR) it is very useful to have the DME instrument in the minipanel to easily see the current distance to the VOR reported by the DME instrument. The DME on the VC is not so easy to read and since it is on the side to read it one must deflect the view angle and zoom in, thus loosing attention from the main thing: flying. How can I add the DME (which AF…
