I've been picking away, and picking away, and picking away at this little by little for over a month. Litttle here, little there. The Cessna 182RG holds that "special place" in my heart. It was my first FSX plane ever and she looked OLD. There is a VC repaint out there but I always thought the old gal deserved much much better, plus those massively insane 4096x4096 textures were a system crippler. :Party: Anyways, I'm finally probably about 60% there and I sat back tonight and said "wow, it's actually looking like something now" and thought I'd share.. Now that we know for sure that the GPS 400 will be the Garmin 400 or 400W, the simulation training software (including WAAS) can be downloaded at http://www8.garmin.c...ils.jsp?id=3532 for the 400W. The software for the 400 must be bought on the Garmin web site. If the model is the 400, there will not be TAWS alerting compatibility nor the ability to do WAAS approaches unless in the case of the real unit, upgrade the GPS 400 with WAAS navigation capabilities to fly precision WAAS approaches. Garmin will discontinue the 400W model this year, so the software may not be available in the future for free. The 400 has been discontinued for some time. Russ

Why is it in Carenado planes that when u switch between fuel tanks the engine will start to die then restart? This seems to be a bug that has gone unfixed for a long time. My Archer, V35, and C210 all have this problem. How are u guys switching tanks? Maybe I am doing something wrong.

I'm getting tired of the default C172... The C172N Carenado has looks excellent, but I really want a Skyhawk SP. I hope they consider this in future projects, and I understand that they have their hands full with the C90B release.

The RXP GNS 430 will fit in the panel in place of the Carenado GPS400 and work. The right knob is a bit in the way of operations, but we may yet find a way around that.. I don't want to be a complainer. Upon pre-flight there seems to be no option for RXP GPS installation as with the recent planes. I saw no update module in the panel folder, etc. Are we supposed to install the RXP GNS 530 or 430 by ourselves? Thanks, BillyBob

I realize I'm jumping the gun here since the C90 hasn't been released yet, but can someone enlighten me on modifying engine characteristics in FSX? I'm interested in dropping in some -135A's in my C90 once it gets "delivered". What should I be looking for in the FDE and aircraft.cfg?Scott

Hi I got a problem with the Carenado Cessna 152 Attitude Indicator, it will not move there's a little knob on it but its static. Is there any way you can tweak it to where you can move the little bird? Regards, Hendu.

Anybody else noticed that in Bonanza F33A and the C172N, the turn coordinator gauge is way off? in bonanza the 2 minute turn indicator will show a 1 minute turn, and in the C172 a turn of 4-5º/second?

i have the c337 and my question is: is it possible somewhere in the aircraft cfg file to change some items to solve the next problem. as soon as I landed on the runway this aircraft is to sensible with the pedals. that means it goes to the right and than after a small correction to the left. its almost impossible to get it and keep it in straight on position. its the only aircraft which has this problem. so may be we could change some tech items in the cfg file please let me know doeke

Hi. I recently purchased the Carenado Bonanza F33A for X-Plane (I use XP-10). I am quite new to XP, and this is my first Carenado plane, so probably I am missing something basilar, but I did not find nothing in the various product manuals. The problem is related to the radio. I tune COM 1 to the desired frequency (for example the ATIS, I tried also with clearance, ground and so on), but I don't hear anything. I am able to correctly use the radios on the default XP-10 GA aircraft (e.g. the Cessna or the Cirrus), but I have this basic problem with the Carenado Bonanza. Could you please give some advices to solve the problem? Thanks. A.

Hi guys, This is my first Carenado add on actually, have never really dove into the VFR scene. 1) When using EZDOK I am not getting the bumps and shakes when landing and flying, etc. Why is this? 2) I am new to these aircraft and need to get to grip with operating them. I bought the CT210M Centurion II HD and shut her down for 10mins, and now can not start her. little things like that I need to learn. Does the documentation with the installation contain the files I am looking for? Best regards, Alex

Hi all,I try to search for this question, but no luck, nothing is Carenado manual either. I am not sure if this is a known issue, here goes:With engine running, I tune the radios to match tower frequency, and the other with ATIS. Switching radios back and forth has no sound whatsoever from tower or ATIS. Can I do that without first opening ATC window?I am a newbie with FSX, so perhaps this is a dumb question :Big Grin:Thanks

Greetings, I need some advice. I'm currently taking flight training in the 152 and use Carenado's 152 to help. If I fly the real deal and get the RPM's at 2250, the airspeed will be around 90-95 kts at 3,000MSL. On the Carenado, with the RPM's at 2250, the IAS is around 80-85 kts. Can I go into the configuration settings and fix this or is there another way? Thanks.
