Hey Eagerly awaiting the release of the c90. One question though. If I put the rxp430 in the panel the magenta line probably won't show up on the c90 EHSI hey? Like it doesn't show up on the P46T G500. I'll buy it anyway :) I'm just wondering. Lee

Hi, i've started to gain more and more interest for carenado products and now i think i'm avaiable to buy one of their products, but i started thinking wich one to buy... The only one i know well in real life is the C152 and C172 but i looked at it and i seemed to simple for me to buy, so i'd like to know wich one do you think is the most fun to pilot... I'm thinking in the malibu, but i think it is a little expensive...

I never did like the Nav-o-matic almost autopilot and as soon as I start flying my Carenado Cessna 206 I remembered why. A full day of playing around with it, I came up with a fairly reasonable panel. The pop-ups are great for those weak eyes like mine. It is more difficult to work with the VC but it does work. Here are a couple of snapshots of what I am flying with today.

  6. This is not a special Carenado problem, but the current Carenado planes show a nice spread of the anomaly. Talking about the wrong prop sound on sim planes with constant speed props (the prop alters the blade angle and keeps rpm steady, to a certain extent). Now you may already got used to the wrong behaviour, which is that the rpm change on the constant speed prop does not alter the prop sound, only the throttle (or power lever on the turbines) does. Now some planes (in the sim) do it right in my eyes. As a matter of fact, the very latest Carenado releases are among them and if you jump into the JetProp (turbine) or the A36 (piston) and change the rpm, you'll instantly hea…

When I press the triggle button on my joystick to apply the brakes, for this plane only the brakes almost lock up.. and the plane dives towards the ground... Does anyone know how to relax the brake pressure on this aircraft only? Thanks

  9. Started by Geofa,

I consider your f33 one of the best planes ever made for xplane. However it has two what I believe to be bugs.I have tested other aircraft and have not seen these traits.Bug 1-the plane needs continual left rudder in level flightBug 2- You trim the plane for level flight-it stays for a while-starts climbing-you do the same-it stays for a while-and then starts climbing-and finally you run out of trim-and the plane climbs requiring continual yoke downforce.I am eagerly looking forward to your new vtail release-mostly because the inside cockpit resembles what I flew for 11 years.Keep up the good work and look forward to many more releases for xplane!

hello,I am having fun flying this older cessna but the lights are terrible. So far I have been able to replace all lights by those created by A2A.The only (and most important) lights that I can't seem to replace are the landinglights.Did anyone succeed?Would you please share your solution with me because I sure can't find it on my own.Luc BrusselmansBelgium

Hey, look what I just stumbled upon in the Avsim library:http://library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=cessna_172sp_damage_mod_v1*.zipIt brings some wear and tear modifications to the default C172, kinda like what A2A does with their Accusim addons. Haven't tried it yet, but did someone test it with Carenado's C172?BTW: There is also a similar mod for Carenado's Beech V35B made by the same guy.

  12. Started by OldFlyboy,

Believe me, I have downloaded at least 4 different .cfg files showing panel mods and i STILL can't get it right :(. I have purchased Friendly panes Cessna 182RG thinking some of their gauges might help. Also Friendly Panels NavPak, FS Panel Studio, and Reality WAAS 430/530 and both flightline gauges. Attached is a pic of my last effort. I have not been able to fill the gaps with proper radios (or anything else). A little, no...a lot of help[ ill be appreciated. :Praying:Neal H

  13. Hi guys. I am Vladimir from Serbia and Montenegro.I think that it would be great if real world pilots can help us.Carenado makes visually great airplanes, absolutely gorgeus. But, we desktop pilots, no offense, cannot determine if flight dynamics of particular plane is accurate or wrong. I noticed that for c185 bush version, some good guy that is real world pilot posted air and cfg files that are accurately from his perspective.I think that RW pilots CAN help us a lot. Flight performance of any Carenado plane during CLIMB,CRUISE FLIGHT,DESEND are the most simple but important consideration that flight dynamics creator must satisfy. Not to mention some unusual, much less c…

Hello,I found out that I can't set the fuel levers to cut-off when I have a (simulated) engine failure. It's or open or x-feed positions for both tanks.Has anyone noticed the same behavior or has forwarded this 'bug' to Carenado ?Thx in advanceEmmanuel

  21. Started by felixthreeone,

Now, let me start by saying that I know this is a totally unrealistic request... i am looking to import either the RXP 430 or 530 into the VC of the 172N. Kinda like if I was to purchase a real one, and want to upgrade or modernize the avionics suite. Has anyone done it in the N model with RXP gauges? The VC is what I am interested in, as the aircraft only has a popup portable in fsx standard. I also would maybe like to upgrade the entire radio stack, if that is feasible...any help would be appreciated

  23. Started by caray,

Hi,I'm a relative beginner so excuse any mistakes.I'm used to seeing a little mark or indicator at the top of an ADF gauge to which I can line up my heading. The 152 ADF gauge seems to have several white arrows at the base and side but not at the top? So I'm now establishing the opposite of my heading and matching that to the bottom arrow. That's OK but seems a little odd.Is this correct? Many ThanksChris

Hi all,Hope I can get some advice regarding the C-210.I am considering purchasing the 210 Centurion for FS9.I currently use FS9 and was wondering if the FS9 version of the 210, models the same aircraft type as the FSX version? It seems that the FSX version is the turbo 210 whereas the FS9 version is the normally aspirated one?Any advice would be gratefully received - thanks!Chris.

    Started by Guest BeaverDriver,

I see Carenado has released some info on it's newest project - the TC 182 G1000. This one has me totally baffled, I must admit. Didn't Flight 1 just do that exact airplane last Spring? Don't we already have an outstanding Skylane (not TC'd or G1000'd admittedly, but F1's is)? With Orbx now pushing north to the Yukon and Alaska, wouldn't it make sense to do machines that are perhaps a bit more "bush" oriented, such as the Aztec, Navajo, 207, straight 208 on floats and wheels, Turbo Beaver or Turbine Otter (single)? Seems like there would be a LOT more of a market for those than a machine that was done just a few months ago by a highly reputable airplane maker (not saying be…
