Hello, everyone! Can anyone please clarify a bit of mystery for me? Here is a texture sheet. You can easily see the REG number painted on the wing. And here are two shots of this livery in the sim. Where did the REG number gone? I tried different liveries, but all lack reg numbers on the wings in the sim, while they are present when viewed through Imagetool.

I may be one of the few people that really like the Carenado G1000. Ok let me first say that my first Carenado plane to have it was the Cirrus SR22. I bought it the day it came out. I loved to plane, it was sublime but the G1000 killed my experence it 2 ways first it was very heavy on the frames (bummer). Second it was NOT very usefull (a bigger bummer). For me the avionics need to have a point other than to look good. I really don't think many people know anything about the real G1000. Or how to use it efectively. It seams like most of the videos on youtube and screenshots from various users are flying the G1000 with the startup display screen on the MFD!!! I have over …

Is Bernt Stolle doing the FDE for this? I have happy memories of the Mirage from the days of "Fly!", so it could be my first Carenado purchase in a while.

  4. As the title states, I'm trying to figure out how to remap (enlarge / increase dimensional area) for textures on specific parts of the aircraft model. I have started repainting aircraft again to match themes of aircraft I'm around in real life. I'm running into an issue with the legacy aircraft like the carenado 152 and 172 where the texture plate for the mirrored or reversed N number on the opposite side of the aircraft is too small for use with my accurate N number design on the main texture. Please see my attachments for an example of this. I'm trying to find out how to go about remapping the texture image using a larger image that can support a mirror slice from …

I was wondering if its possible to add a GPS 530 gauge to the VC panel over on the right top corner. Would I have to make a new V. cockpit section in the panel cfg and a blank 1024 x 1024 bmp for it? The rectangular area is where I want to put the GPS.

I have the C152 for FS9 and am running Windows 7 32 bit. I cannot see the prop in VC mode - either static or spinning. I have tried re-installing the product to no avail. Is this how the product comes or is there something I am missing or haven't done? I am sure I recently saw a video on YouTube where the prop was clearly spinning???? Many thanks for any advice or help. David

Just heard officially from Carenado on this...and yes, they are planning to release G1000 fps patches for both their SR22 & T182. They hope to have something out publicly within a few weeks following the 206 release. Yayyyyyyyyyyyyy!! I'll probably be buying them both when it happens.

Hey guys, Has anyone ever attempted to improve the Archer FDE? I asked Bernt about it and he said he was unable to do it due to his schedule which is very understandable. The Archer is otherwise a rather enjoyable little plane which could be made even better with some FDE tuning. I really enjoy using it basic IFR navigation practice. If anyone needs for FDE tuning, I have a Piper Cadet POH. The Cadet is basically a Warrior built for flight schools, The Warrior has 20less HP than the Archer. There are also a few Archer POHs in PDF format found online. Cheers TJ

  10. Hello, I really impressed with this TBM850, but I'm having a little trouble manually building a flight plan in the G1000. When I select "FPL" and get the flight planning window, I then click on the small FMS knob to get the next window and put in the airport ICAO code as the first waypoint. Then I push "ENT" but another window comes up to give the option to make it the active waypoint. If I select "OK" and hit "ENT" again, the window disappears. If I select "Cancel", I go back to the original flight plan box, but nothing is entered. I've looked at the manual and tried it the way it says, but I can't get the flight plan box to accept a waypoint when I select "ENT". W…

  13. Hey! I have a Carenado Piper PA-32 Saratoga for FS9, which I use to make some flights in FS9. Now, I recently found a 'CarPA32_OO-RAG' repaint for this aircraft, and I want to use this as an AI-variation and make it fly via Ttools. I tried everything that I know to make it AI aircraft but I cannot make it fly. I did all the things necessary to compile the traffic-file, but it never shows up... The traffic file is OK, because there are over 50 aircraft in it, and all fly well, except this Piper.... Has anyone better experiece with the Carenado Piper PA32 as an AI aircraft? What can I have done wrong? Greetz Jive1

As per instructions in the DOCs, I first enter the departure airport, then my next waypoint. However, I am always getting a reversed order and I cannot find a way to "reverse" that order from menu items. OK, what am I doing wrong ,,,, I first enteres CYRO, then YOW as my first waypoint, but it is going to get backwards Then as I completed entering the flight plan, I highlight YOW as my first waypoint, click enter, and PRESTO >> not good, going the wrong way man !!

For quite some time, I have been trying to decide between the C90 and B200 for FSX. I have a couple questions that I hope you guys can answer to help me choose. First, which is better made by Carenado? Second, which has better framerates? Third, which one is more enjoyable to fly in the sim? I am aware of the real life differences between the two when it comes to airspeed, range, etc. Thanks, Jason

I'm not able to get the map to show on the GPS. I set my flight plan in FS9 and the list of way points are there when I turn on the GPS. But I can't find the map. I saw a tutorial on youtube which said to keep moving the knob so different blocks beside the "nav" on the bottom right of the gps screen are activated. There are 5 blocks on the video but mine only has two blocks. Any help? Thanks

That new Cessna Turbo 206 is sure looking nice. I have 2 major concerns over it though, in case anyone hadn't noticed. First is, the tach in the new screenshots is redlined at (what looks to be) 2400 rpm. The engine in this aircraft is rated to 2500 rpm (see here: http://www.cessna.com/~/media/Files/Single%20Engine/Turbo%20Stationair/Stationair%202013%20206H%20SD.ashx - go to the bottom of Page 7 for the engine specs). Now you can't see the tach straight on, but I'm wondering if Carenado "borrowed" the tach from an older 182 they did some years back? It almost looks that way as it was redlined at about 2400. I truly hope not, but either way the tach is not correct and 10…

So I'd like to ask.... Carenado is into prop aircraft but would they be willing to make larger prop aircraft, say the ATR 72-600 Series someday? Or maybe a medium-sized aircraft like the Piaggio Avanti? I own three aircraft so far, each one equally amazing! Peter

Maybe I'm late to the party but I real enjoy flying the piper Arrow. this little aircraft is very forgiving, predictable and a sheer joy for short hops. I only fly non-jet, GA high performance singles and light twins, real wx, xp reality. I have Carenado - PT Malibu - cool but many bugs - Archer - Cherokee - V35 -blah - C340II w/ RAM upgrade - too buggy and sometimes wont descend - Baron58 - I turbo'd for more power at higher alt - B33 - also turbo'd very nice aircraft. well laid out - Mooney - fast Milviz - 310 R - also turbo'd --This is my main a/c Realair - Duke Turbine - very nice, delicate, complicated but getting the hang

  22. Has anyone run into this before? A buddy of mine has just bought the TBM and gets only the inside views... First thing we checked was if he had SP2/Acceleration installed, and he is on a new copy of FSX Gold, so that is OK. Global Texture Resolution is set to very high.. other airplanes function correctly.

I asked this question after purchasing one of my first Carenado aircraft, and never received a satisfactory answer. Right now I am flying the Baron on an IFR flight plan. The A/P will not fly the exact GPS flight plan and the difference between the proper heading and the one I adjusted to fly the correct heading is 70 deg. Now this situation is not isolated to the Baron but throughout the Carenado fleet. It does not happen all the time, but if the aircraft is flying properly and I have a stop over and attempt to fly another leg the problem appears. This is not automatic adjustment for window conditions as someone suggested before, but appears to be a fundamental problem b…

Hello, Sorry if this has been covered, but I cannot find a post about it. I have the Cessna 180 Skylane II package for FS9 (FS2004) and may I say what a lovely aircraft it is! Sounds are beautiful and she flies really well. For the life of me though, I cannot seem to find out how to set any frequencies in the top VORDME instrument (NAV 1). It seems disabled. Only NAV 2 works. Any ideas? Thanks - and thanks for a very nice aircraft that I have only recently discovered. Regards, Lee James West Sussex UK

Maybe a good aircraft for carenado to make in a couple of years from now if they can evolve there g1000 cockpit and create the touch screen interface gtc570. However if realityXP can create the gtc 570 that would even be better. Thinking also p3d 2.0 will be out by then and 64 bit will be the name of the game. So maybe, hint hint. Any thoughts....
