It seems that after the 550 release, Carenado switched development focus to the Navajo, leaving the rest wondering #####? There haven't been any updated pictures since 2014!

Hello everyone, I am looking for an app that allows me to control the Garmin GPS via an external source, it is so frustrating and time wasting to use the knob to select a waypoint... I was considering Airtrack; does this app interfaces with x-plane? I mean, if i select a waypoint on the app, does it come out on the simulator as well?

Hello, I would like to practice with Piper PA-28 Warrior with FSX, but I see that Carenado did not make one... I see they have a Piper Archer Would you say the Archer is a good substitution for the Warrior? Do they flight similarly? Major differences? Alternatively, does anybody makes a Piper PA-28 Warrior for FSX? many thanks!

I've done some searching but haven't managed to come up with anything definitive so I apologize in advance if this has been resolved before.I recently purchased the FS2004 version of the Archer II and for some reason the wingtip strobes aren't flashing (or light up at all). It doesn't matter if I activate all the lights at once with the L key, or if I flip the strobe switch in the cockpit. The Nav, landing, and beacon lights all work fine, it's just the wingtip strobes I'm having trouble with. Just to note I've installed several other Carenado aircraft and their strobes are fine.Is this a known issue, or something I've got screwed up?Thank you in advance.

Hello Everyone, I have noticed that the B-58 and the C-208 do not display the reflective textures on the prop spinners. All other aircraft including Carenado ones display properly in P3D 2.5. Has anyone else experienced this problem? - Video Card = GeForce GTX 765M - Driver = 347.52 - Processor = i7-4700HQ - Ram = 16GB - OS = Win 8.1 Thanks, John

After installing carenado Piper Seneca and Cessna 210 on Win8.1 (New Computer) only one of each shows on FSX list. Anybody has any idea as why it is doing such thing? Any suggestions? Thanks

Hi, Seems no one is reading the King Air B200 subforum, so I'm trying on this level instead. Need some help with Reality XP GNS 530 installation on my Carenado Beech B200 King Air. I did run the RXP530 installer I found in the Carenado_B200_King_Air folder. And I got the message that RXP530 installation was successful. Having done that I also found what I believe is the RXP 530 in the left GNS slot of the panel. At least there’s a “XP” in the upper right corner of the unit. But – when I try to start it nothing happens. It seem completely dead. There is a clickable spot on the upper left corner of the unit (over the “Garmin” logo”) and when I click that a comple…

Hi--- recently come back to this plane and now trying to learn some basic IFR flying with vor- dme etc. However ,I find that although I can change the Nav frequency on Nav 2, I am not able to change the "whole " frequency number on Nav1 but can the decimal frequency by the grab and click method. I thought that a patch was issued some time ago (2008?) for the original release but am unable to find it. Or is it finger trouble? If it is not a glitch, would a reinstall from the disc solve it? I like to fly this plane and would hate to leave it in the hangar. There is no radio/nav etc. info in the handbook that came with it. What sort of radios are they. Any help would …

Hello, i am trying to connect the OC Plug and Play MCP with SIOC and XPUIPC with the Carenado B1900D in X- Plane. The most funktions are working perfect, but IAS and ALT SEL did not. I tried installing the Phenom yesterday and pointed the thing at my steamapps for the FSX:SE install. Some files made it (mainly the uninstaller) but I can't find the aircraft, and it's not in my aircraft selection menu! Anyone tried installing Carenado/Alabeo planes yet with success?

I recently bought the Seneca II, looked at the 3 PDF files, tried the plane and I have lots of questions of things not documented anywhere in the product. On the internet I found a review of the Piper Seneca II for X-Plane but apparently that version is much better than the FSX version, so compared to what I saw in the X-Plane version review the FSX has The vent window (glass) on the pilot side can't be opened Missing PDF documents such as the reference list, performance tables and autopilot manual, the last two I need sorely... Hi, Looking at Carenado's products for xp, there does not seem to be any indication or description as to what aircraft offerings support what version of XP. I understand that maybe v2 aircraft will work with 10.3, but what is missing if I use this version of the Aircraft. Is there anyway they might be willing to change the website to be more informative concerning this or produce a document that lists the current compatibility list? I did post this on the xp forum. Hey everyone. I purchased a couple Carenado FSX AC like the Bonanza F33 the Caravan and I might get the 35 just released. I have every product for FS9 when I used that version and there was a patch on Carenado's website that allowed you to update the FS9 models into FSX. EX: The Cessna 182RG and others. The patch is gone and we are forced to now buy FSX versions now. I don't mind doing that, but would have liked the option to use the patch on the 182 and maybe a couple of others so I don't have to buy all of them all over agian. Is there anywhere the patch can be gotten? I was bummed out that I don't have the choice to port a few over. I am going to contact Carenado after…

I have noticed this issue with a couple of Carenado birds, including the SR22, the Phenom 100 and the Piper Archer series. Whenever I try to tune the VORs to a specific radial, it only selects radials in increments of 10 degrees. Whenever I spin the bug for instance, and the aircraft loaded with the 105 radial selected, I can only tune 095 or 115 etc. I cannot tune a specific radial unless it happens to match up with the increment of 10. I see this on the heading indicator too. On the SR22 and the Phenom 100, the same issue exists, with the altitude bug only selecting altitudes by 1000ft, rather than in hundreds. Just purchased/installed the PA-28RT 201 Arrow IV. Activate GPS Panel. Changing any cmnds/display in one DOES NOT SHOW similar cmnds/display in other!

Does anyone use the U206G Stationair in Prepar3DV2? I've no doubt it can be installed - but being a very old FS9 to FSX conversion, will the VC be clickable? I'm tempted to buy it for use in FSEconomy, but the VC needs to be clickable. Cheers Keith

I've bought Carenado aircraft from third-party retailers (Aerosoft) in the past and haven't found the serial system too intrusive, since it doesn't phone home, and I'll still be able to use my stuff if the company goes tits up. But, one virtual pilot shoppe informed me a few months ago that Carenado (as well as Alabeo) have begun using an activation scheme. True, or not? I understand from the Carenado FAQ page that individual retailers may handle things their own way, so it may be this one retailer.
