Hi guys. Is there a Carenado Cj2 Banner available somewhere? In fact I searched here, their site and the web, but could not find any Carenado banners.

I have a couple Carenado aircraft (C90X and the EMB-505 w/ Navigraph add-on) that both do not work with Navigraph data. When attempting to put a route into the G1000 or FMS (depending on the aircraft), no airports or waypoints show up and I am unable to enter anything (i.e. there's something wrong with the nav database). Also, the "Building Navigraph Database" window stays at 0%. I already contacted Carenado and they were unable to figure out the problem. I uninstalled FSX Steam completely (uninstalled, deleted all folders including AppData ones, cleaned registry) and reinstalled it, adding the EMB-505 as the first and only aircraft up to this point. Without installing th…

First, a little confession, I like Carenado aircraft despite the not so few shortcomings in terms of systems. I have a couple of their models and recently ran into the (apparently unsolvable) fps issue with the Hawker and the carenavigraph.dll. I wonder how your experience is with the Citation and the Phenom 300. I would assume that the carenavigraph.dll issue affects all aircraft in the same fashion if running on Prepar3D. But maybe I am wrong and there is a difference. Looking forward to any comments. PS: I am running the Hawker with Bert's GTN mod and one cannot thank this man enough for his work. Still, there should be a way to run the aircraft with the st…

I'm having this strange problem with Carenado's cessna 172. Whenever I steer left/righ in flight the steering is very slow at the start, but gets quicker near the end causing me to always correct when I'm on approach because the steering is too slow on slow movements of my stick. Is this normal? I'm experiencing this only in the stock cessna and Carenado's one but not any other planes I own. I also have my steering sensitivity set too the full right per advice of this thread. https://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=87&t=47744

Hey guys, I have an issue with the Carenado Cessna 172N. I love it a lot, but there is an annoying issue where the analog hand on the altimeter always reads about 50 to 100 ft too high compared to altitude that reads when I "mouseover" the altimeter. The mouseover appears to be the correct altitude, while the large hand is incorrect and a bit too high. Does anyone have any idea why this might be the case, and is the problem correctable by editing a file? I am using FSX-SE. I could figure out how to attach screenshots if I am not being very descriptive. Thanks. - John

Hiya, I've just got FSX-SE up and running on a decent PC, have ORBX and is all looking great but fancy some better planes than the default. I've used Carenado planes a while ago in FS9 and thought they were v good but looking at the Carenado site, only a few of them are listed as working with SE. I would be after the Baron or B200 to replace the defaults, but neither of these are listed in the SE section. What is the issue with these, does it not know where to install them? is there any way of getting them to work? Thanks, Paul

I noticed under my Account history that several of my Carenado products have updates. I had assumed that if I recently purchased a Carenado product that its already updated, or do I still need to apply the update? Also, if I run an update do I need to preserve my addon textures and aircraft.cfg file? How does everyone else handle updates without losing addon textures, etc.? Thanks in advance --WH

Flying in SoCal in the BE35 I am having trouble with keeping the airplane airborne. After getting to 11,000' the first time and then 9000' the second time I am losing airspeed and the plane starts to stall. After recovering form the stall and me staying at a lower level the plane flies just fine. Mixture and all engine parameters are correct and I have tried pitot heat and also prop heat. Nothing seems to correct the issue except for descending to an unsafe altitude in the area in which I am flying. Thanks, John

I do really hope the next Carenado project will be the Citation X! Miss a really good one after the Wilco and Eaglesoft ones! Citation X is the Rolls Royce of the skies! And I love the plane!

Hello! Sorry for rather enigmatic topic. Some time ago, I remember someone from Carenado mentioning that there is a special file responsible for hiding pilots' models when 3D cockpit view is selected. Well, while I am asking stricte for X-Plane, I assume it works similary in other sims. I would like to ask which file is that and if, upon deletion, it would cause the models to be visible in cockpit view. I would like to test it, as the idea of actually seeing them when flying is somewhat appealing and immersive. Thanks in advance for any help!

NEWS FLASH . . . Carenado has announced an update plan for most its FSX/P3D fleet to version 2.0, The aircraft will be rebuilt fixing old bugs and updating them to new technologies. Among the mayor improvements is a new installer which allow FSX - Prepar3D (v2.5 and v3.0) and Steam installation. Carenado invites its customers to help in this plan and submit bugs to [email protected] indicating the aircraft, problem and how to reproduce it (only FSX or P3D please). Carenado's first aircraft updated is the CT182T SKYLANE G1000 HD SERIES FSX/P3D. These upgrades/updates will be free of charge to current registered owners. A bonus will be that some of the n…

Hello everyone; I,ve been trying to integrate the flight1 gns650 gps ( I don,t like how the gns750 looks in this old steam gauges cockpit) into the carenado navajo and the alabeo cessna 404, but I could not because of the default carenado gps, somebody knows how to do it? I think the gns750 installer of carenado only permits this one.
