Pilot models in the cockpit

Hello!

Sorry for rather enigmatic topic.

Some time ago, I remember someone from Carenado mentioning that there is a special file responsible for hiding pilots' models when 3D cockpit view is selected. 

Well, while I am asking stricte for X-Plane, I assume it works similary in other sims. 

I would like to ask which file is that and if, upon deletion, it would cause the models to be visible in cockpit view. I would like to test it, as the idea of actually seeing them when flying is somewhat appealing and immersive.
