Hi. I see in the pictures on the carenado site that show the moving map GPS in the C208B (GNS 530?). But when I load the aircraft it only has the GNS 430. Is there a "switcher"? Thanks.

I recently got the Phenom for X-Plane. When I load the aircraft, things are normal at first, but in a few seconds the cockpit begins to fill with what appears to be smoke! It is black and rolls around. There is no warning associated with this that I can discern. Does anyone have any insight into this? Thanks! Russ

I bought a PC-12 from Carenado (Xplane 10) and I'm reasonably happy with it, but there's a few things that really irk me: namely, the ECS doesn't really seem to work, there's some annoying flickering on the battery readouts, standby bus is nonfunctional, the endurance and altimeter values tend to bug out, stabilizer trim gives out errors, light controls are a bit wonky, knobs have touchy click zones, and I had to disable the exhaust effects or the GEN 2 wouldn't kick in plus some BAT HOT weirdness if shutting down and starting up again when chaining assignments in FSE (and I know I'm missing out a few). HI, didn´t found anything about this in the docs or forums. Using the GTN1 tool I´ve got he GTN as an extra 2D. But the NAV will not work without using the FMC. Need a bit of help. Best Steff

As I get more experienced I am finding I desire engine failures modelled in the pkanes. I can do this myself in Piston aircraft either with realengine program or by just using the detonation onset line in the cfg. But y hese don't work in turboprop planes. I know a few Carenado do torque failure, the twin Caravan, the Cheyenne II, but im wonderibg what other Carenado have over torque failure built in? Does the newer Caravan ex with the G1000?. What about yhe 350i, or the 1900D? Im sure the older C90 and the B200 dont, nor the older Caravan nor the cargomaster. Having teased me by appearing on the Carenado Facebook page a few months ago, the Short 360 has now officially arrived in the 'Incomings' section of Carenado's website. The first screenshots, as always with Carenado, look good and I am sure this fairly unique aircraft will, at least with regard to eye-candy, be a gem! Although not by any means perfect from a systems viewpoint Carenado nevertheless did very well with their Fokker 50 and if they can improve on that with their incoming turboprop airliners then we could be in for some good treats with the SAAB and the Shorts. I went to download the Emb 300 HD SERIES FSX/P3D00 and noticed that the links for email or download were missing from the page. Also the C90 GTX KING AIR HD SERIES FSX/P3D. All other aircraft links were there. Any ideas? Thanks Larry

I have to put this post here as there is not direct forum for the PC 12 for X-Plane After having the funds to upgrade my computer I am in a position to fly again, with this I wanted to use X-plane mainly because of the realism of the runways in XP11. I was looking at the forums and noticing how dormant many of them are. I'm wondering which airplanes are still being flown...which ones people consider good...which ones were overlooked. I, for one, have been a fan of the PA-46-350P Malibu Mirage (until I moved to P3D and didn't have a good nav device for it anymore). What airplanes are you a fan of?

Hey All! Hope you have had a pleasant start to the new year. I was wanting to reach out to the sim community and see if you can help me solve an issue that is stopping me from reinstalling my Carenado Add-on's. I have been having plenty of issues with this new computer that I rebuilt after my rig of 9 years finally died. This one is particularly vexing. I go to install the add on, I put the correct password, the correct username in, and i get a "0 Error the specified serial is not valid". Hello all, I just bought the Carenado Beechcraft 350i, and i am experiencing low fps in the vc. It is not low all the time, sometimes it jumps back and forth. Hey guys, When i fly my c185 in p3d (i love it) i got some huge issues in cold air. I know it is injected engine and doesnt have carb heat, but also try to smash the H button (like in the old fsx days) but it doesnt do anything and i still lose power. I have the latest c185 download from simmarket. I dont know what to do and how i can solved it, anyone have some idea ?

Hi, The other day I went to press shift (number) and as you know a panel would come up. Well when I press shift (number) and only a little black outline of a square would come up and I can’t see any panel. Can anyone help me?

Anyone have this issue or heard of it? I got nothing from the SEARCH feature. There are specific sound files (whose existence in the folder I have confirmed (AB1.wav, etc) that just do not play. This is across both the Hawker & P300. The airbrakes air-resistance sounds never play when the airbrakes are deployed. The Flaps "3" sound does not play in the P300. None of the callouts play except for "500". I can never hear the sound of rain on the windows unless I am parked. Anyone have issues like these or know a trouble-shoot plan?

I always get 1 or 2 or 5 fps with carenado planes with carenado g1000 . With win7 they were fine. i tried all the tricksI found on the carenado site but nothing works. I'm stuck. Can any of you help ? thanks

Hi, I just purchased the MB850 and tried to use the recommended settings for "Display Resolution" in FSX-SE. In the manual it states: Setting - Display - Graphics "The most important setting of this menu is the "Global texture resolution" which should be set to Very high as is shown in the picture below." The resolution selected is 5760x1080x32. My FSX setting does not show a resolution this high. I am running a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960.0 and the monitors native setting of my monitor is 2560x1080x32. How can I set the resolution in FSX to match Carenado's setting recommendation? Thanks for help
