I purchased a Carenado product a few weeks ago and paid via Paypal, The Serial# key returned a 404 error. After spending several hours of doing the "Carenado 404 error dance" I contacted Carenado customer support.. that was last week.. As of today no response. I paid $49.95 for the aircraft and the Navigraph expansion package. They appear to be great products, though Carenados customer support is 3rd world at best. I filed a dispute with Paypal.

Purchased and installed the XP11 Falcon FA50 EX. Love the aircraft, but was curious on why I do not hear any GPWS. I also have dndesign Challenger CL30, which is also a great aircraft, but it DOES have GPWS. Is there an option on the Falcon to use this? Thanks, Rob

Hello! I recently bought the Carenado Pilatus PC12 HD Series, and it's great! However, I have one little issue. It seems that setting the throttle to idle disables all thrust for a while. If i am flying and set the throttle to idle, then back up, the thrust stays idle. The virtual throttle lever in the virtual cockpit moves, but the engine stays at idle. This is also true when landing. Normally I will idle the power at flare, then touchdown and then reverse thrust. As I apply reverse thrust, the virtual lever moves fine, but the engine stays idle, and no reverse thrust is actually produced. After realising what's going on I burn my brakes to a crisp, only t…

I recently purchased the old Saratoga SP for FSX as I had it in FS9 and missed flying it. But I truly want a better paint scheme than what is offered in the package. Would any of the talented repainters here be willing to do a repaint from a photo, or at the least change the registration on one of the package paint schemes? Hey guys I have an old installer from years ago of the PA28 and just took a shot in the dark at installing it for P3D4.5. Looks like it works except for a few gauges, altimeter, hsi, bank indicator, transponder, etc. I did a dummy install to an FSX directory and manually moved over all the files to their respective directories but am still not getting functionality. Are those old GAU files even compatible? Thanks!

I had to reinstall Win 10, but saved all my P3D v4.5/simobject/airplanes, including several Carendo's. However they are now loading as 'skeletons;, missing fuselage panels & other pieces. Anyone else had this problem & know a fix that doesn't involve downloading / reinstalling? Also have it on my Alabeo's in simobjects/airplanes. T45

Just poured my money for the ATR72-500 and now being hit with serial invalid issues. I looked at other posts but there seems to be no answers. I've switched off firewall, AV etc, copy paste the serial from notepad to no avail. I've raised a ticket to carenado but am not sure how fast can they rectify the issue. Can anyone here help? Appreciate any help/thoughts on resolving this issue: The Carenado's annunciator panel shows a "Low Voltage Bus" red warning constantly from power up to shutdown. Additionally, the CDIESI display on the panel is corrupted but the expanded CDI/ESI operates just fine. This issue suddenly appeared a week or so ago and despite researching, uninstalling and reinstalling the aircraft I have not found a solution. Any thoughts will be appreciated.

I have tried unsuccessfully to reinstall the S340 P3Dv4. I have redownloaded the aircraft from the seller, Just Flight, used copy/paste to enter the Serial Number together with my email address on the Carenado screen., but to no avail.I also read somewhere, to copy/paste the Serial Number to notepad, and then to the appropriate Carenado screen. This also did not resolve the issue. A message then appears, "403 Error". "The number of installs for this serial number has been exceeded". I contacted Just Flight for help to reactivate the serial number, but their reply was that Carenado handle this. However Just Flight have stated that they have requested help from Carenado .…

Don't know why the XP11 V35 has no specific forum here... actually it looks like NONE of the XP11 planes have a specific forum here. Anyway, if anyone else has this plane, and has the REP addon from simcoders, have you been able to land this plane without bouncing? I can't figure it out. I either am too fast and bounce, or am too slow and bounce. The non REP version doesn't have this problem. I am coming in at 70kts like the reference material says too, but on the flare it's always either too hard a drop and causes a bounce, and if I try to soften it by not flaring as hard I also just keep bouncing because the plane doesn't want to stop flying. I have been checking Carenado and Alabeo's Facebook pages and outside of updating their planes for X-Plane there's not much in the production line. I know they have taken a "beating" by some but at least they always gave us different models to sit in, kick the tires and go. Also if you look around the world of Orbx most of their planes are in lots of screenshots. Truly their planes are bought. I know they're not perfect but it's nice to get a taste of flying many different aircraft models in the flight sim. That's exactly what they have done. Does anyone know what's happening with them?? I have noticed something odd with some Carenado aircraft in XP11. When flying the Cessna Citation II I am getting a warning sound which I can't get rid of without restarting the flight. While trying to narrow down and discover what this alarm may be for I have discovered that none of the .wav files in the Cessna Citation II sound folder and subfolders are playing when using Windows Media Player, however almost every other .wav file does play with that program. It seems to be playing, and there is no error message, but there is no sound when playing any .wav file associated with the Citation II or the S340 (XP11 versions). Please help with this issue if you can. When I start the engines for the SAAB 340 for X plane 11 I get no engines sounds at all. Is there a fix for this and yes I have redownloaded the aircraft.

Hi, just had flight #1 with the 340 on xplane 11. I did have her for P3D but moved due to vr. Anyways using the knob next to the Nav1 radio, I can't change the nav source from gps to nav on the main screen, and none of the other buttons around it seem to have any effect. Am I missing something? Would like to be able to do some vor / is work but for now I'm stuck with gps fixes and manual approaches.

Carenado have made a surprise announcement that they are within days of releasing an ATR-42-500 to mark their 20th year in business. The series 500 is an upgraded version of the original ATR-42 with 6-bladed propellers although it retains a ‘round dial’ cockpit, unlike the current production variant of the aircraft, the series 600, which has a glass cockpit. I’m debating S340 or ATR which is easier to fly as well as pre flight and startup etc? I’m looking for a very quick turn around time.

Haven't flown the B 58 in a while. Loaded it up today and there are no panel lights. All gauges and GPS are dark. Switch indicates ON but no joy. No dome light either. I have two GT 650's that are lighted out of the panel (shift 2) but nothing else. All gauges function fine. Would appreciate some help in getting this resolved. Running P3D V4.4 Thanks, Dennis .
