Trouble locating this file.....

I am using Carenado PC-12 v1.3 on XPLane11 build 11.41. There doesn't seem to be a dedicated PC-12 / XPlane11 forum so I am asking here about a shortcut key for thrust reversers. First, I had the key <F2> working about a year ago to activate thrust reversers. Then I had a drive crash and reinstalled windows 10 and XPlane 11. Now I find that key - or any other - does not work. I can manually move the throttle back to the reverse position and reverse works as it should. But no key or key combination I have tried - and I've tried dozens - will work. I've tried all the items in Engines-Thrust Reverse, Engines-Throttle, Engines-Basic-Toggle …

I seem unable to initiate NAV using the GTN 750. I have it on FMS and GTN on GPS. HDG works fine. Any suggestions.

I have been simming for quite a few years and one recurring gripe I have is the lack of documentation for the use of Carenado's many fine aircraft. It would be very helpful if some information existed for use of the various auto-pilots, instruments, and system that are not common to other aircraft. I actualy avoid buying their planes because of this unless the plane is really older vintage. This shortcoming becomes very obvious with later era planes. Many other publishers do a better job of documenting the operation of their planes. I was frustrated today trying to get their Beech D-18 to fly on auto pilot.

I have a few carenado products including the Meridian, Phenom 100 all with the navigraph expansion. Is there anyway I can do a DCT to waypoint in my flightplan. If I do DCT it deletes all my waypoints in the flightplan.

Hi, I just purchased the FA50EX for XP11. In the documentation, I see pdf docs for individual systems and checklists. Is there a manual on how to get started? Regards, Indrajit

Can anyone shed some light on why there is no sound from either com radios through my headset? All other sounds are working. Very faint ID sound on nav radios.

Just installed the Caranado Diamond DA62. Everything look ok but the Synthetic Vision on the PFD shows "TER TEST" and won't disappear. Document says its setting up and could take about 2 minutes. But it does not clear. Any ideas what I may have done wrong? Or what I could do to fix this. Thank You Walt

Have purchased carenado 390 premiere and that have send me in big trouble. Plane installed fine and flies beautifully but.....the dreaded Database loading in the FMS stares at me. Gone through all the articles on the net about this as well as contacting Carenado support whe i must say came back very fast and I have added the lines in the dll.xml file as per their sggestion and my own findings and Downloaded the carenavigraph .dll file and placed it in the root of FSX Nothing worked. I'm trying to assign an airplane function to new buttons. There was a problem with lighting switches. What commands should be used in the lua file to use the lighting switches: BEACON, STROBE, RECOGN. ???

"Genuine take off run and landing - real rolling movement effect" I have around 5 Carenado Aircraft - twins and 1 single prop - and the sales blurb on the website says that the aircraft has these "assets" I have flown each of these Aircraft for hundreds of hours in real life and honestly never found them to behave in "S" bending like these Carenado aircraft do - even my Senaca with counter rotating props throw me all over the runway. Havent flown both these AC in awhile. Tried the F50 Fokker. It wouldnt hold altitude. Would go right through the set altitude. Not sure if this is due to the newest update. The other carenado AC like the new 206 does fine. Was using Propwash AP but disconnected it for repeat flight but still had altitude hold issues. Nav mode works fine. Same for the Saab 340B.

Just loaded the FA50 into XP-11. I don't see any installer in the zip, so I am presuming that you are simply to copy the contents of the zip into the XP-11 aircraft folder. The aircraft loads and displays however there are no animations other than opening of the cockpit door, opening the main entry door, and slat extension. There are also no cockpit displays even when the start with engines running has been selected. Externally the main and nose wheels are sunk about 1/3 to 1/2 the total wheel height into the ramp. Have I missed something with the installation or is there something else going on here?

Hi guys I wonder why Carenados ATR 42/72 has no internal reverse sound. I can see in the sound map that there is a file for the internal reverse-sound and it works when played. My throttles is also working and the airplane too is reacting to the reverse command but no sound. Is there something in the sound-cfg file that Carenado didn't got right?? I have checked some of my other Carenado aircrafts souch as the s340 and B120, no problem there. So is there someone in our forum that has a sollution for that problem? Best regards Bo

Hi everybody, first please accept my apologies, but my english is not as good as I would like it. I am trying to make my own G1000 panel for the Carenado Phenom 100, but lots of buttons and encoders doesn´t work, all this inputs work with the FSX G1000 Cessna, but at the moment I try them in the Carenado Phenom 100 it does nothing, so I supose Carenado uses their own offsets. Can anybody help me? or it is simply impossible?. I have heard something about Lua, but I have no idea if it works or not. Thank you so much everybody. 🙂

Hi there, I am getting low FPS in the ATR and i don't know why. This is the only aircraft that i have FPS as low as 7 and so that means i cannot fly it. I have tried to contact Carenado but have gone unanswered. I just don't know what to do now. Thanks Alex

I re-started my sim dosage; and having a certain aircraft on mind, I am trying to get the blank textures for C182Q, and the others that used that separated bmp files to get a white paint. Can anyone with this aircraft ,kindly tell me how to get the LNAV to show up on the panel so that I can get it to follow the flightplan automatically without having to resort to HDG SEL each leg? Thank you.

Hi guys, I bought the Carenado Archer yesterday for P3D because it's as close as I'm going to get to my '73 Challenger apparently (which is a 180 with the Hershey bar wing and the updated panel, but with the ASI in MPH and not knots). Is it possible to change the ASI to one with MPH instead? if I find a suitable gauge, how do I swap them out? Thanks!

Guys come on... you are loosing money.. Carenado fix your website! Way too slow... And after you select the planes on sale once you go to cart/purchase screen the sale price is removed??? Been like this for days.... Are you having a sale or not? I went to PCAviator and everything worked fine.

I understand how to enter a flightplan waypoint-by-waypoint, but I cannot find a possibility to enter airways between two waypoints. Anyone can help? How can I enter an airway? Thanks, Chris

Looks like Carenado is going to expand their longer range biz jet line by offering the Cessna XL560 soon. I suspect all the usual quirks with Carenado birds will be present here (no one should ever be surprised at that by now), but is anyone else looking forward to the gap between commercial and private long range aircraft being closed just a little more with this release?

Hey Folks, I'm wondering if anyone on here is flying the new CT182T for X-Plane11. If so, do you see low fuel flow readings compared to what the POH says they should be for your given power settings? Sometimes, I can't achieve the fuel flows listed in the performance charts even with full rich mixture. As a secondary problem, which I think is directly related, the ITT (T.I.T. actually) readings are unusually high. Anyone? Thanks in advance.
