Cannot lower the gear in MSFS. Anyone have a fix for this? Thanks in advance.

Hello, i bought two planes from Carenado. The TBM 850 and the C90 GTX. Both very nice planes. But with both planes have problems. 1. The planes spawn 1 meter above the surface of an airport. 2. It is impossible to control the planes after airborne and even climbing is not possible. These problems are the same with both airplanes. I have this problems only with these two airplaines. Not with the X-plane standard planes and not with other third party planes. I search the forum but didnt find anything. Can anybody give me a hint what i am missing here? Help is very much appreciated because the planes are not usable this way. BR Markus

Just bought the ATR72 I notice there are subtle difference from the ATR42(i dont own the atr42 but i noticed it from other users on youtube) The cockpit color on ATR72 is now more woody brown probably based on the earlier delivered models prior to year 2008. Is there a possibility of changing it to the blue like color from the ATR42?

Hello, I’m just getting around to installing my Carenado products in v5 to start flying again. I always knew taxi and landing lights were dim from experience in v4, but they seem to be much worse in v5. No shaders installed, dynamic lighting and ground illumination set to on. After several hours of trying to educate myself on fx files or dynamic lighting, which I have zero experience with, I haven’t gotten anywhere. Anyone have any successful experiences making Carenado lights brighter, particularly in the PC-12, E120, B1900, and S340? The C208 seems to work fine for some reason that I can’t identify; maybe even a little too bright. …

Hello, I don't see this issue in any other posts so it must be me but I can't for the life of me figure out how to defrost the windows in the PA44 in MSFS2020. I start in a cold climate anywhere and for the first 15 minutes windows are clean but after flying for 10 minutes or so the windows completely ice over and I can't see a thing out of them. How do you keep the windows from icing over? Morpheous

Hello everyone, the PA44 is not enjoyable at this point and using vatsim not even flyable. There are major bugs that happen only with this airplane while also using default Avionics. Avionic freeze as mentioned here before, OBS and CDI button still working. Being on vatsim the com switch button does work and it changes the frequencies but it wont display the change and any change with the knob to select a different freq. Using the AP in GPS or VLOC mode gives me slow turning rates which results in bad accuarcy. This things do not happen with the default airplanes or modded airplanes. Best regards

Greetings, This pertains to Prepar3D Version 4.5 but probably counts for v5 as well. I'm wondering if anyone has any input on how to boost the G1000 LCD gauge resolution in the virtual cockpit of Carenado's various glass-panel aircraft, without encountering the resulting distortion in the screenshot below (Caravan EX in the example). I wasn't happy with a 1024 x 1024 pixel resolution that is included by default. I tried bumping this to 1280 x 1280 (also tried 2048) in the panel.cfg (pixel_size), and also tried globally using the P3D.cfg [Panels] edit, with the same results. Is it at my end, or is this aircraft simply a massive hit on performance in MSFS? I mean rediculous. It's hard for me to imagine driving a meatier PC, apart from a couple of settings on ultra, most settings are on high, but FPS with this bird never get above about 35 in any scenario. Please don't hit me with 'I should be looking at smoothness,' I know that but 35fps regardless of settings and scenario???

I posted this note on another page in this Forum but see it only pertains to FSX|P3D so I am reposting it here hoping the XPlane community might see it... I recently upgraded my operating system to Mac OS 10.15.6. I am using XPlane 11.41. I tried loading my Cessna CT210M v1.1 and it immediately crashed XPlane. I checked the log file and it said: --=={This application has crashed because of the plugin: SASL3_Tbient/64/mac.xpl}==-- I first suspected the Mac Security & Privacy Gateway settings might be the issue but ruled that out after verifying it was not indicating anything. So I bought Airhauler 2 for MSFS and wanted to import my Carenado Skylane into Airhauler 2. Unfortunately Carenado are locking the Flight CFG and calling it aircraft.loc and hence your unable to import the aircraft into Airhauler 2. But in Prep3d you can import Carenado aircraft into Airhauler 2 for Prep3d. Can this be rectified? Otherwise I wont be buying any further aircraft from Carenado since they wont work in Airhauler 2.

FS2020 - Premium Deluxe Installation - Carenado PA-44 Seminole On a standard ILS approach in VLOC mode, I have yet to receive a glide slope indication anywhere on the HSI, and while the glide slope does come 'alive' with Nav 2, both the LOC / GS flags are still showing, and the OBS bezel does not rotate with the turning of the knob. Note that both localizer frequencies have been identified with the Morse code identifier for both Nav 1 and Nav 2. (I have a screenshot of this, but am unable to attach to this post.) Just picked up this airplane through the Marketplace Winter Sale, and I have to say...very disappointed! Please acknowledge if this is a known issue…

If anyone at Carenado reads this, it would be very much appreciated to get an update that fixes the FPS drop when some exterior lights are turned on (mainly taxi, NAV and land). It has been confirmed by multiple users so it's not only happening on my side. We are talking about a sizable drop of 8-10 FPS, which does not happen with any other aircraft I tested.

Sorry for that but i'm little bit frustrating.. After the today update the OVation is completely broken.. and where is it the 1.2 update? we wait for 4 days. Sorry but i don't think i will buy your aircraft in the future

Hi All. I'm flying at the momente the P44 Seminole on MSFS for more than on hour (LECO to LESO;IFR at VATSIM FL 140). MY Man Pessure is like shows and my Mixture also as shows. The RPM is 2300. Is it normal a t 14000 that the mixture is so lean ? The fuel tks almost the same when I took off. Is it because of the mixture lever? And the EGT ? (very low) also the Oil temp was always high.

Hi, Im fairly new to FSX and bought some carenado aircraft and found a problem with the ADF knob in the: -Cessna 207, -Piper PA31 Navajo The ADF card doesn't move from heading 340 until it suddenly jumps straight to heading 360 using the heading selector knob, all the other headings move correctly until as mentioned reaching heading 340. Any help would be appreciated.

I suppose that importing Carenado and Alabeo catalogue in MSFS is a big amount of work. But I also don't understand the fact that so far we've seen only two planes. I was hoping to see some progress, and maybe a bit of information about that, as I do have more than 20 aircrafts (Carenado and Alabeo) somewhere useless on my PC after uninstalling P3D. Needless to say that this will give a new life to this creations...and some cash in Carenado's pocket. I'm missing my medium turboprops, that's the fact.

Just want to make sure I'm reading this right... maybe someone could explain it if I'm doing it wrong. Just as an example, lets take 16'000 feet cruise altitude. As I understand it, with prop at 2400 rpm, manifold pressure should be at 15.6, and for best power, fuel flow at 11.8. Correct? (depending on temperature, but assuming OAT = standard)

1/ I am trying to findout how to start this bird from a cold/dark situation and thus would like to see a procedure manual. In the me available ducuments provided by Carenado I find all kinds of procedures but not the one I am lookinh for. 2/ I have been looking at a youtube film in which there was mention of some sort of clickspots e.g. A/Overlay autopilot,C/ camera and O/ options in thr lefthand bottom of the screen. Upon loading the bird on my PC in P3Dv5.1 I see no such thing nor can I find something simular anywhere else. Pls assist and advise. Regards Dirk

I've only been a member for a couple of days, primarily because I'm frustrated with the lack of fixes or at least some kind of communication out of Carenado regarding fixing their FS2020 Mooney and 182T. But since I haven't seen any responses out of Carenado, I'm wondering if this is not an official support forum? Hopefully I was a bit clearer than mud with what I'm trying to say...

Re.: Carenado - CT182T Skylane After latest MSFS update (Update 7: World Update - U.S. ) when trying open a door or window MSFS Chraches, even after landing and parked after a while MFSF shuts down. Would be nice with a fix here. And while I'm at it, the engine sound inside cockpit is horrible "flap flap flap", outside okay but inside ugh, please fix it. Apart from this Really Nice Aircraft

Yes it is evident problems with the great Carenado aircraft after MSFS2020 USA update. In my case when I try to open the Mooney door I get a crash to desktop. Also its "snaking" in auto mode.

Good morning, I suppose Carenado is already aware of a lot of issues after the last (today for me) MSFS update. here is a short list of some of them (I am sure there are more): - Yoke cannot be hidden, - some buttons now do not work - VOR drifts - CDT after 3 minutes from take off I hope you can update it soon...I am enjoying a lot this plane 🙂 Thank you Stefano

Hello, I purchased two aircraft on 11/21/2020 for X-Plane 11. First being a Phenom 100 and the other being the Premiere 1A. The Phenom loaded up and activated without issue. The Premiere 1A will not activate. I get an error "Key and Product mismatch" and there is a Generate ID button on the interface that it is not clear what that is for. I have contacted support days ago and they are seemingly unable to resolve this. I have gotten generic canned responses such as "We're checking into it" and "We'll get back to you". If I don't get this resolved soon like as in tomorrow or so, I will be starting a dispute with my CC company and see if I can't get Caren…

I recently purchased the Carenado TBM 850 for FSX/P3D and am running it on P3D v4.5 and v5. There are a couple of issues I have with the aircraft. First is the blasted Master Warning light that keeps coming on when I reduce my throttle. I have done some searching on the web regarding this known issue and have found that the light comes on when the torque is reduced below 10 percent. Unfortunately it is fairly impossible to control this as the throttle calibration on this aircraft, well I won't say it the way I would like to. Suffice it to say the calibration is really messed up. Taking advantage of the recent sale on Carenado, I've purchased both the 206G and the 206H. Can anyone direct me to the location of a download for a blank white texture for the 206G or for a fix to remove the pants from the 206H? Thanks in advance Barry
