I see an annunciator for the prop anti-ice but it appears to not be implemented. Does anyone know if prop anti-ice is functional? Thanks, Mike

After the V5 (end October) update from MSFS2020 the stick in the cockpit can't be clicked away when clicking the clickspots. Is there anyone who has the same problem? How can it be solved? Please let me know. Thanks!

Hello, I have an issue regarding [MFS2020] Mooney M20R since last patch when i want to power up my xbox controler when flying. Each time i power up my controler during flight, trottles, mixture and propeller are suddenly reduced. Could you test it (if you have an xbox controler too) ? Thanks in advanced Franck

I was wondering why the aircraft,cfg for this plane is encrypted, its called aircraft.loc and is gibberish if you open it in notepad. This is going to make it really difficult to do repaints for as you need an aircraft.cfg to add them to.

I purchased the Carenado Mooney for MSFS and started it up. I started the Avionics and everything came on. Beautiful panel. Within 5 minutes all avionics died. No Garmin and no NAVCOM radios. Nothing. Attempts to restart them were fruitless. I restarted MSFS and restarted a flight with the Mooney. The avionics now would not turn on at all. I had nothing connected other than Alpha yoke, TM TQ and TM rudder pedals. Any thoughts?

It's constantly a few hundred feet below set altitude. Right now, alt set at 4000 ft, holding at 3790. Also, when enabling altitude hold, the A/P noses up and down wildly instead of smoothly.

Is there a list of control variables available for Carenado aircraft? or is it mostly default FSX controls that are used? In this case I am specifically looking for controls to setup up a Linda profile for the E120.

Are there any plans to release/upgrade a float version of the C182 for MSFS 2020? It would really make the addon a lot more interesting imho.

Just wondering if anyone has experienced this issue too... When flying either a GPS course or locked onto an ILS approach, the M20R gradually drifts off course to one side or the other, then banks about 15 degrees to correct, and OVERFLIES the course to the other side, then back again, continuously, in a zig-zag motion. The time between "left of course" and "right of course" corrections seems to be about a minute or so. It's especially a bummer flying an ILS approach in poor visibility, for the aircraft position to the left or right of the threshold can be dozens to hundreds of meters when nearing the runway. So, in heading mode, the plane keeps rapidly hunting/banking left and right, over and over. Any ideas? This since the new MSFS update.

What the heck is going on here… First time it happened I was in cruise at 10000 feet, and was looking around the cockpit… seen a little window handle thingy, and clicked it, and the Pilots window opens. Over stressed. Start over. 2nd time, after flying for a good hour I was at 9000 feet, 160 knots, level flight. Had to step away and paused for 3 or 4 minutes. Came back, Over stressed. Man oh man… I’m having a beer.

...after having some issues initially, mostly with MSFS bugs ruining my experience, I'm happy to report that I've finished a 500nm flight in the Mooney, without anything going screwy. Great little plane. It's going to be one of my favorites for sure. Most definitely set Generic Airplane Models to ON for both multiplayer and other user aircraft.

Would carenado even port this plane? It's a really well made plane and it's a dream to fly. I've had it since the fsx days and it was my first purchase for any flight sim.

I just want to say how appreciative I am of Carenado support. In recent months on at least three occasions I have sent in a support ticket requesting upgrades to five aircraft. These had all be purchased from the now defunct Australian Flight Sim Store and going back many years. On each occasion Carenado got back to me within hours and added the updated download files to my account. Given the amount of time that had passed since purchase and that I had not bought these direct from Carenado plus the updates were without cost, I think this is exceptional service, certainly worthy of a thank-you. Does anyone know what Carenado’s long terms plans for MSFS is regarding their back catalogue of aircraft? Do we expect most aircraft to be upgraded, or just a select few? I’m more interested in aircraft King Air size and smaller, so not their larger jets and regional aircraft. Also, how about Alabeo aircraft? They have been quiet for a while. Would Carenado take over any upgrades if they choose not too?

I haven't read or seen a post already stating regards people who already own carendo products for the other sims like P3D. SInce the release of MSFS2020 and have seen that carenado cessna 182 been out for some time now, and yet still clueless to what I need to be answered about. Nothing on the site about it. Shocking. I own five carenado aircrafts already for P3d, and my question is that do I have to rebuy them again for the new sim or we/those that have owned other products get to receive the aircraft for automatic for the new sim? I'm not a fan of buying the same aircraft for each sim, but since carenado has always been buy it once and then it support all both FSX …

So as the title says, has anyone managed to port over an aircraft to MSFS2020 yet? I'd image Carenado products would be the easiest given their relative simplicity.

Hello, Just wondering if Carenado aircraft are compatible to P3Dv5 without any further mods.

I own the D18S FSX/P3D but I was wondering if there was a pre p3d model. I was trying to convert it in MCX but can't. I have this issue... wanted to use it in MSFS 2020 Almost 800000 triangles and almost 500 drawcalls is really a lot. Are you sure this model was made for FSX and maybe not for P3D? Vertices around 115,000 each and lit is 65xxx Any help appreciated, BobM.

Has anyone noticed a mismatch between the CHT readings on the analog gauges (right side of cockpit, below fuel quantity gauges) and the CHT listed on the engine performance monitor (left side of cockpit, below airspeed indicator). When I'm cruising with mixtures leaned the needles on the analog gauges will indicate a "normal" 400°, but the performance monitor reads over 600°. I'm quite sure the 400° values are the correct ones, as that's what I would expect for an engine that's properly leaned, but I wonder why the digital readout reads 600+

Has anyone a solution to either of these problems: a) the cockpit flood lights switch on, but fail completely to illuminate the cockpit - so for example it is not possible to switch fuel tanks as the switch is invisible. b) the landing light is so dim, and has so little spill in front of the aircraft, that it is worse than useless. Has anyone successfully edited the halos.obj file to get a more realistic landing light? Thanks, Nick
