I have upgraded to P3D v5/Hotfix1 and I cannot get GNS 530 to follow direct to path; also Garmin Trainer Lite 330 does not power up ; GNS is installed in Carenado C337. Brian

Hello, I am not able to use the Autopilot with the RealAir Legacy + GNS530 on P3D V5 HF1 as seen on the log message below. When activating NAV mode, the plane turns north even though the correct course is seen on the nav gauge. Could you please clarify why this is the case? What is exactly not supported? @RXP, I'm currently trying to work on a solution with your product and LH through their P3D forum: https://prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6312&t=137267&p=214807#p214807 The problem appears to be loading up the RXP window, and moving it onto another monitor. When I undock the RXP window, and move onto any monitor (emuteq, 34" ultra widescreen, etc), it blacks out the main P3D flight screen, and there's nothing I can do but close P3D and reopen, and not use RXP as a popup window. Hi! I just did my first flight using Orbx’s new Boulder City airport and was unable to find it in the 530. I tried under 61B (old name which Orbx kept for technical reasons), and the current airport code KBVU. It just thinks neither waypoint exists. Anyone else experiencing this problem? Thanks!

Besides this subforum, and the RXP docs, are there any other resources or info about integrating the RXP GNS430 into an existing VC? I'm attempting to put the GNS430 into the JustFlight Piper Tomahawk VC. I'm only having partial success.

Hello, I am having a problem with the RealSimGear GNS 430. I got everything connected and good to go with RealityXP, except none of the buttons work. I have tried reinstalling C++, Arduino software, etc. I know that the buttons are working because on the RealSimGear Interface, it shows they are being pressed. It seems like the RSG and RXP are not really communicating. Contacted support, no answer yet. Thank you!

I've just bought this pair. Great products of course! 😊 It would be easy to fall back on the 530 alone but I'd like to see how to use the two units to comlement each other. I selected 500 rather than the 530 to take out the radios and give a larger display. I've enabled cross-fill. What do others use the extra 430 for please. I'm sure it is far more than a good looking back up unit?

found that if GNS530 is turned on and stays on the db version page (one that tells you the a/p, terrain database version), p3dv5 stutters every 4 sec. once this page is cleared by "ok", then stuttering goes away.

When I click to download the e-commerce installer, my Windows Defender says that rxpGNS2-530-FSIM.exe has a trojan Win32/Azden.B!cl and won't let me run it. Anyone else had this problem? Ken

I am attempting to import an .fpl route from Little NavMap. I have followed the RXP GNS manual very carefully. The relevant file is where it should be .../GNS/FPL folder. The manual refers to the 3rd FPL page but my unit has only 2 FPL pages! Have I been short-changed? Or what? I'd be grateful for advice. John

Hello, Since yesterday, perhaps after having update p3d to last 4.5, automatic pilot doesn't follow my gps nav from gns. Plane goes always to north. i reinstalled rxp and gnt but no result. Thanks for your help

Hi folks, I'm a complete noob on GPS, and bought the GNS430 to learn. I'm very proficient in navigating /A, and have done so fanatically the last two years on PilotEdge. I mention this to underline my hunger for realism, and also when on PilotEdge I need to know that my GPS unit is current, or at least close enough. As it is, sitting at KSNA I get the approach 19R as an option, and this is an outdated runway number. Somewhere in the startup it says the database is from about 10 years ago, or more. I can't fly with a database that old - I can't trust any information I get... Again. I'm a noob on GPS in sim aircraft. How do I update the database? Thanks…

Hello, New in this forum I am not very sure about my performance to explain my problem, any way I try to do it. My conf is P3Dv4, with W10. I have a realsimgear GNS530 with RXP GNS530, and C172 alabeo. All of this worked well til last week. I get a black window I don't know how. I re-installed RXP software and P3dv4 nothing to do. It seems that after open the RXP 530 window is waiting for some thing. I re installed the Garmin trainer no change. Some one have got this kind of problems to help me ? Many thanks

Hi all, got a strange issue with my new RXP GNS 530/430 v2 units. I just purchased them today and have installed them on my new system. I have a number of airplanes from Carenado, Milviz, etc. that have options in their installers, or extra .exe files, to allow the use of RXP gauges, I guess they replace the .mdl files in the VC with GNS 530 and/or 430 bezels. So I went into my Milviz Beaver and selected the RXP 530/430 option in MVAMS. Fired P3D v4.5 up, selected the Beaver, and I see the bezels, but the 530 screen is black and the 430 screen is gray, and they don't have any clickspots. Hey guys, I've trying to replace the stock CAR 430s with RXP ones in the A36 by Carenado with no luck. trying to use the config rxp tool and put in the legacy mode no luck i don't think it likes the Avidine System in the Plane. any ideas any help is appreciated

I am using the PFC 430, with the hardware drivers installed as well, and the updated version of the gns430. However it doesn't tune all of the ATIS frequencies numbers. It skips quite a few of these. for example if I tune to 125.25 it will jump to 125.30. I'm running windows 10, latest version, FSX deluxe with acceleration pack. Any help, solutions, or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I have been using the Reality GNS 530 for a while and find it a bit frustrating using the mouse to manage the unit. I have been looking at the Propwashsim PWS530 and was wondering if anyone has this product and if so what they think of it. Hello, Did anyone manage to install the RXP 530W to the Carenado Cessna Skymaster in PrD Version 4? I'm using V4.5 and tried the following workflows: 1. - run RXP530C337.exe - run inSim RXP AddOn to install the GNS 530 2. - run inSim RXP AddOn to install the GNS 530 - run RXP530C337.exe Best I could get was Version 1, running RXP530C337.exe first. The RXP 530 shows up when pressing Shift-1, but the VC display is black. Any help out there? Or is it just not possible? Thx, Karl

I started by trying to install the 530 in the original FSX (no service packs or SDK) with no avail so I started digging and found out I needed Gold or SE. After seeing what kind of money was being asked for the discs I chose to download and install SE and went through the installation motions again. Still no Garmin 530. In one of the downloaded files there is a readme file that outline how to write an installer but at the end it says the file can simply be copied to the folder so that is what I did. No avail.
