RXP GNS 530W/430W V2

I've inserted the GNS500 into the VC of the RA Legacy as a no_bezel. It is basically working but it is a bit oversize and is cropping the display. (Is there a way to insert a screen cap here?) I tried reducing the 3rd and 4th parameter by 10% hoping to shrink the display but it didn't seem to work. hi everybody, just bought the 530/430 combo to use it with the milviz turbo otter. but it does not work 😞 in the MVAMS i choose different RXP options but always i have 2 different problems: 1. i get a 530 gauge without the XP sign. i get a 430 gauge with the XP sign. but both of them, don't work. the rest of radios, rx radar work fine. 2. somehow i manage to make them work, but instead of getting the rxp picture on them, i get the old p3d4 picture. in both cases, if i open the 530 in a window, i get no picture. and i can't switch it on. any ideas? thank you !! ps. in other aircrafts, a2a for example or in any xplane aircraft, the rxp …

hello all, i just bought the gns 530 v2 and i have the gtn 750 with the latest garmin trainer. indeed the database in the gns is very old and i was wondering which file in the gtn trainer can we use as worlwide.bin in the gns??

Hi Guys, Hope some one can help here. I got both the GNS-430WAAS and 530 looking at the version these are from 2012 and version 1. Problem I am having is that the RX530 has gone in on my A2A Cessna C172 Trainer and works well, but for some reason I can't get the 530 to show in my new A2A Cessna 182. When I open up the RX config app where it lists all my aircraft it lists the 182. It installs all the various lines in the Aircrafts panel config but am not able to see it n the aircraft. I have recently bought RealityXP GNS 530 v2 and successfully installed it into my my flight sim. However there is a display problem in the Virtual Cockpit (VC) that I cannot solve. If I display the RealityXP GNS 530 with no bezel I can modify the co-ordinates (in the panel.cfg) to set the display within the existing GPS bezel in the VC. From looking at the forum this is also what others have successfully done. However this then means that the controls do not function as they are not those associated with the XP GNS530. Hi, newbie to the RXP game. using FSX boxed. Stable FPS 40+. I use rxp for my realsimgear 430 using the popoutof the gps and dragged to the realsimgear monitor (anyone know a way to keep it there between shut downs/machine power offs do tell! Or a better way tk display the rxp in the realsimgear?) While flying if i have the rxp display set to the second screen. Flight map display/route etc. I get stutters on my scenery. No FPS changes, still in the 40s. Soon as i change the rxp display to say tarrain or traffic. Problem stops. Its annoying and odd. Hi chaps, I've been trying to put the GNS500 into the Realair Duke V2 in P3d 4.5 but having no luck at all. The 2D version works ok, but the panel in the VC seems to have a sort of ghost GPS gauge, the screen is messed up (as you can see) and none of the buttons work. Can you help me set this up? I only really bought it for the Realair Duke. Cheers John

Hello everybody, I've been trying for a couple of weeks now to get the 430+530 v2 combo working on the Piston Duke v2 (FSX + Win10). Bert helped me a while ago adapting his Prepar3d GPS500 panel modification to run on my setup and I'm very thankful for his help, but it would be nice specially to have the 430 and the 530 running together "natively" Everything works well on the Turbine Duke after renaming the new v2 RXP.dll so RealAir config panel recognizes the modules, but if I do the same thing on the Piston Duke, when I go to select to use the RXP I get this Error: chunk has too many syntax levels. I started using the GNS 530 V2 with version 2.4.20. It was installed in RealAir Duke B60 v2 using the GPS 500 variant. After some help from Bert PIeke, it has been working beautifully. This morning, I saw the notice from the update notifier that V 2.4.20.1 was available so I downloaded the update, unzipped the file, and ran the .exe installer which ran to completion successfully. When I tried flying the Duke,I discovered that something was broken. It was behaving as if the panel Nav/GPS switch was no longer working - like it was stuck in NAV. I raised this with the A2A tech forum but the problems seems to be more Reality XP related so here goes: I'm Running A2A Piper 180 on P3Dv5 with all When on RNAV / Vectors to Final the GNS tracks the AP like it is on rails.. I landed twice absolutely fine. No issue. However.. when I try and follow an active leg of a flight plan, the plane wanders off course like a drunk walking home on a country road. Doesn't matter how close to the line, how straight to the line.. dam thing just slowly meanders off course. I'm using the same settings for approach.. not a problem.. Long time flight sim enthusiast - First time post I recently bought the real sim GNS530 from real sim gear and installed Reality XP. When I run the add on tool in the program I am unable to save the new panel file that is created. " You need permission to perform this action" is the error that comes up when I try and save it. Background info- Windows 10/64 FSX SE addition Carenado 337 - it comes with a 530 installed in it. So far I have tried to change the panel folder permissions , but that did not resolve the issue. got back into real flying now. My firend has a Garmin 530w in plane. So for practice I like to know what I have to do to use Reality XP Garmin 530 panel in flight simulator. I still have Windows XP SP3 and FS9 installed Went to the Reality website. Says something about $35 for license. Is that the price I need to pay to download the software. Hi Jean-Luc, in the GNS manual (page 5) it is said : "In addition, the gauges can be manually configured to reserve and display a surrounding coloured fixed-size border for convenience." So far I succeeded in setting both GNS 530 and 430 into their respective small monitors but, when fullscreened using ALT-ENTER, both GNS screens are a little bit outsizing my frames. So my question regarding the manual configuration you mentionned in the manual (pun intended 😉 ) How can you resize the fullscreen no-bezel window (or add fixed-size border) so as to fit your physical frame ? Hi I have uninstalled P3D V5 and re-installed using the newly released HF1 Build. My 530 and 430 were working perfectly in the original build of V5 with the most recent update from RealityXP. With HF1 the aircraft will now not follow the GPS flight plan and just veers of to the left of the desired track continually. I have re-installed my 530 and 430 into V5 HF1 and that doesn't fix it. I have tried the same flight for comparison (same aircraft, same GNS settings, etc) in V4.5 and it works perfectly. I have also tried different aircraft in V5 HF1 and it does the same thing. Trying to program a direct to flight plan using onscreen GNS530 with bezel - using FSX-SE Appears that the knob only has one function - I can select the first character of the ICAO, but can't go to the next character What button on the instrument moves the cursor to the next item (second character of the icao field) ?
