RXP GNS 530W/430W V2

I own 3 Steam DLC Aircraft. Beach Bonanza, Cessna Centurion, and C404 Titan. I cannot install RXP GNS in any of them. I get a messege say I need permission to access the file. Has anyone yet successfully installed RXP GNS in any Steam DLC aircraft?

Hello, I bought the GNS V2 a few months ago and now would like to reinstall it on my laptop. I don't have the "key file". I do have my serial number and order confirmation on the e-mail, but no option to reinstall via serial number.. I also don't have a Fligh1 account (for my surprise). Please help

Hi, How do I pop-up the GNS530/430 from Milviz's C310 Redux plane? I couldn't find the answer after reading the manual. I also google searched and found suggestion for editing the panel.cfg and RealityXP.GTN.ini but this didn't work for me. Ideally right clicking the screen (not the bezel) on the panel should pop-up the 2D panels and likewise right clicking on the 2D windows should close it. Also, how do I make the power/on of button on both units functional? Not sure why this doesn't work automatically and why we have to google search. I have the latest versions of the plane, RealityXP (all), and Windows 10 Pro. Thank you.

Hi, where do I get tech support for the GNS v2.0? I went to the reality-xp website and could not find a support forum. I followed the "community" link on the website and ended up here instead. The problem is I already posted a question here about not being able to pop-up the 2D windows four days ago but had no replies. I also can't turn on the 530/430 units on the panel, and there's no info on how to turn the unit on in the user's manual ("Reality XP GNS V2 User's Manual (FltSim).pdf"). Please help. Thank you.

I've got the GNS500 nicely installed in one of my favorite planes the RA Legacy,. It's starting to work well but I can't get the autopilot to lock on the desired track in NAV mode. HDG works as it should as does ALT hold and VS. I have GPS selected on the NAV select toggle switch on the panel. I try to intercept the desired course at a 45 degree angle. The HSI needle seems to read correctly but when I engage NAV, the plane goes into a slight bank and starts to circle. I can fudge my course with using the HDG bug and function but I'd like the autopilot to follow the flightplan automatically that I have input into the GPS. My first thought is maybe I don't have th…

Hi, I bought Flight Simulator from Microsoft and downloaded it from their site. I purchased Reality-XP GNS 530. I am not able to install because I cannot find the file fsx.exe. I think maybe Microsoft has change the name. In the folder where it is supposed to be there is "FlightSimulator.exe" instead. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the program. I have searched every wear for the fsx.exe. I have tried everything. I am on window 10. Is there something I am doing wrong? Is there a fix for this? Charles

Hi, the Reality XP 430 sim is wonderful - it meant that I could clear my desk of sim hardware but I'm having a bit of a problem with FLT which I bought last week to change the DI in the standard C172 to a HSI. The installation appeared to be OK and the altered panel file in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\C172\panel shows that the edit using notepad had the HSI but when I run FSX SE the panel is not altered. It's almost as if FSX SE is accessing a different panel.cfg file. The FSX SE is pretty much standard and I have FSUIPC and Spad installed. I'm running the 530W version 2.4.20.2 with P3D V4.5. Ever since the most recent update, when I turn on the avionics switch in any aircraft with the 530 installed, the unit's screen remains blank.

I've been following Bert Pieke's advice from last year on this. This is my panel. The 500 is embedded in a larger default GPS500. The click spot popup works and the popup can be dragged to a second monitor. But it hates it - as soon as it's touched it vanishes! Hello, i have a strange problem. Sometime, not always, when after starting P3D HF2, popping up the 530, moving it to my realsimgear screen, the garmin freezes and wont work just in the popup. The ones that in the panel continues to work just fine. This is the case when i move the the popped up screen to any monitor other than the monitor that has the sim running. Its rather bizzare. Im running lastest build of the 530 Windows 10 ... lastest updates P3D V5 HF2 2x 2080TI (three monitors per card) - latest drivers Fly-Elise Anyone else have this or found a fix for it?

Just purchased xp GNS 530 installed ok except the trainer wont turn on, main problem is that when trying to enter a flight plan I can highlight the vacant space enter the first symbel but the curser will not move to the right I have tried it in several Carenado aircraft there is no option in the menu to start a new plan. Im using FSX acc and Window 10 /64

When my 530 and 430 are running simultaneously, all buttons and knobs on the 430 and 530 only control the 530 (i.e. the 430 does not accept any commands become activated). Both are on different COM ports and both work independently when only one or the other is physically connected. When both connected, the port connection screen shown only 1 device connected but shows control activity when using controls on either device. I am running Win 10 and P3D V4. Has anyone experienced and fixed this? I'd appreciate your help!

I just got a new computer, and I’m reinstalling everything. I installed FSX SE, all of my add-on aircraft, and the RealityXP 430/530 set with the included Garmin trainer. I used the e-commerce wrapper newly downloaded from my purchases for the 430/530 install. I have a number of issues. None of my RealAir airplanes configuration utilities see that the 430/530 are installed, but that is minor. Note that my A2A 182 configuration utility sees it fine. The first time I loaded the RealAir B60, I was able to select “Add-ons -> Setup Aircraft”, but every other aircraft displays a full-screen black screen when I try to do that. After the first time, the B60 does it too…

I have fixed and fudged and worked with this file for three days and I can't get it to work with my GNS530 V2 in the Real Air Legacy in P3D v4.5. It always freezes the sim when I hit ENTER when it flashes CHECKLIST OK. It is named "checklist.GNS" and resides in the Simobjects/Airplane/Real Air Legacy V2 folder. I tried to adapt the format from the TEST checklist but I must have missed something. Bought RXP GNS 530 for FSX SE, now I can't change tasks (alt tab), because the sim crashes..... Looks like RXP is loading in a full screen or something. Tons of addons here and nothing is buggy as this thing.

Hi- I just installed the 530 into my A2A cherokee and all is well. According to the docs, it looks like the 530 accepts .fpl format for importing purposes. I arbitrarily picked a .fpl file ending with that extensionfrom SimBrief I created-KHAF > KSTS- (don't remember which vendor at the moment) and installed it into the FPL folder. The GNS sees it but when importing get a 'failed' message which indicated my guess didn't work! Anyway, which .fpl downloads from SimBrief will the 530 accept, if any? Thanks, Mark

Everything is really top notch, from the updating procedure to all the features of the configurator, layout everything, really TOP notch stuff!! Where is the installation of my GNS530? I just bought the Reality XP GNS530 and everything has gone wrong. Initially, forget to add the 30% discount coupon that is available on the page, then when you install everything well, but it turns out that nothing of the program appears to me, nothing to configure, no gauge was added to my gauge folder, nothing. I set this up to be a popup in an A2A T6-Texan in P3DV4.5. The Garmin GNS trainer is installed. The unit shows in the panel but there's no way to power it up. Avionics on, radios on, engine running, generators on. I have installed the GNS 530v2 and 430v2. Crossfill is enabled on both. Reality XP states that these units are "now offered with crossfill at no extra cost." When trying to crossfill, one or the other GNS units flashes the message "Data transfer cancelled (crossfill is busy)." The manual simply states what crossfill does, it does not provide much detail or any instructions. I have looked for support at the Reality site and have been directed here. I've already searched this site but have not found anything about this issue. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have realityXP 530 V2 running successfully in FSX SE as part of my Aerosoft Twin Otter DHC6-300 float plane cockpit. Prior to installing reality XP the Saitek Radio Panel was working correctly, I was primarily using it to display and control Com2, Nav2, ADF, DME and XPDR. It can also display and control COM1 and NAV, but this was being done directly via the original 530 unit display and controls. After installing the RealityXP 530 V2 the outer (MHz) rotary selectors of the Saitek Radio Panel no longer work, oddly the inner (kHz) rotary selectors function correctly. Hi there, I’m afraid to say that even after the update, which I believe established the link between the GPS and the autopilot in V5 HF2, my RealAir Duke (with which I equipped my GNS with Bert’s magnificent help) still won’t fly the GPS routing and I have a red NAV flag on the HSI when GPS is selected. I did have it working in v4 with Bert’s help, but now I’m having to fly the GPS routing manually. I wonder if you could shed any light on this? Thanks

Suppose I wanted to pay Garmin or Jeppesen for a single update cycle to the 430. Garmin has a single cycle US database priced at $129 which would probably last me a few years so I'd be willing to buy it. Not having a real unit, does anyone have experience with Garmin or Jeppesen software to know if you can buy and then download the files into the trainer? Or is their software locked down and hide the actual database file away? What would the logistics be of getting the purchased data into the trainer? Thanks!
