RXP GNS 530W/430W V2

I have XP12.06 on Win11 Pro latest and just installed RXP. I am using the vFlyte Arrow III G5 with built-in RXP support. Problem: When the plane loads and I hit the master bus switch, the RXP 430 and/or 530 (I use 530 for NAV/COM 1) does not appear or start. If I go to the RXP plugin menu and deselect the 430/530 and reselect it again, it will come back. This happens again randomly - sometimes I get lucky and everything seems to work normally. Is there some kind of timing bug when the GNS trainer is ready to boot up the avionics? Anyone seen this?

I have read this: Reality XP update removed airports from Garmin 430/530 - RXP GNS 530W/430W V2 - The AVSIM Community But I still have a question: If i updated "\ProgramData\Reality XP\Common\GnsTrainer\dbfiles\006-d0170-30.bin" with Garmin's avtn_db.bin file from the real thing, is that enough? Or do i need to do something else? I am in North America.

I have both lines have the same values in both files (RealityXP.GNS.ini and panel.cfg files) and yet the 2-D panel on the VC won't pop-up when I left click the 530's screen in the virtual cockpit panel. Any ideas on why the 2-D panel is not popping up? After editing the files, I closed and relaunched P3D v4.5 using the default F35 to initialize the sim. Will there be an update so that compatibility with P3Dv6 can be achieved?

I have P3D V5.4 and would like to reinstall them again after several years. I have old ones dating back to 219 but obviously for old 32bit systems. I am quite happy to pay for new ones. I see the adverts for the 530 for $35.00 but when I go to pay it says #49.95. I can not work out the 35% or 50% coupons? Basically I want to download and use the 530 and 750 and am willing to pay for them, and use them in P3D V5. How do I do this/

I have been using the RXP GNS2 units for many years on FS2004 (Windows 7) without a problem. This week, on two separate occasions, I have been flying along with the GPS_400_1 unit working fine, when the GPS screen suddenly displays "GPS is not responding. Check GPS antenna". What!? I have never seen this one before. Has something gone wrong with the Garmin trainer software? The map seems to stop working, and I have to disconnect autopilot and fly manually - but then the radios seem to be stuck (cannot change frequencies). Very bizarre, and would welcome any insights from anyone who has come across this error message. Thanks, Graeme

Hello, I just bought the GNS 530 for P3D V5. Everything installed well, and the panel installed into A2A Comanche and runs well. But I cannot power up the trainer. The program runs, but clicking on the power-up button results in nothing happening. Any advice appreciated.

I can't find any guidance about how to install GNS 530W or any Realty GNS into P3dv5. A2A is a Grea and the process easy: xtract installer and go!! Not so -- unfortunately -- with Lockheed Martin P3D. And, there is no direct route to Reality XP support so here I am. I request guidance on how to install Reality GPS products into non A2A sims, P3D, in general and specially into the LM C130 variants. Thanks.

Has something changed in recent updates to the GNS 530/430 V2 500 variant? Last summer, I did a complete rebuild of my Windows 10 operating system. I reinstalled both P3D V4.5 HF2 and P3D V5.3 HF3. I installed my RealAir Duke B60 V2 in both with the latest RealityXP GNS 500 variant per the instructions and modifications provided by Bert PIeke. It was working in both versions of P3D. However, I did not fly the Duke again until last week. In the interim, I did multiple updates to keep Windows 10 up to the latest version. Hi guys New to the forum, however have tried to read as much as I could before I wrote this. I have updated my RXP GNS530 software to V2 yesterday, however now I cannot get the GNS530 to load properly anymore, all I get is a black screen. I am running on a Windows 10 pro system with Microsoft Flight Simulator X. I also run it though a RealSimGear GNS530 unit which worked flawlessly for years . Is there a way I can back track and go back to version 1, or is there a fix that I haven't found yet.

Successfully replaced a default GPS with the GNS 500. I can't get past the screen with "All map and terrain data provided is to be (blah blah blah)... OK?" I've clicked every button including 'MENU', 'ENT', 'CLR', turned both the inner and outer knobs, pressed the 'Push CRSR', enter keys on the keyboard... nothing I do acknowledges the OK prompt. I also tried the GNS 530, and encountered the same problem. Doesn't matter what aircraft I try this with. Please help! Using Prepar3d v5.3 and the latest Reality XP update.

I have this "problem" with my GNS530, I can't import flight plans and I can't export them either, it doesn't give me any error, simply the third page of the FLP section doesn't appear and the export flight plan option is not available in the menu. Hi I have just installed the 530 2 in a non internet connected computer by Flight1 transfer. It all seems to have gone OK. I got the GNS2.dll in the gauge folder, the licences in the windows and the root RealityXP folders and lots of other new files in various Garmin and Reality folders. I have changed the gauge names in the panel.cfg. file I have the old 530 1 installed is there anything I need to remove or change. Thanks

I have a similar issue. ANy pointers would be appreciated. I just re-downloaded the 430 Reality XP add-on for FSX steam edition. THis is a freshly installed windows 10, with a freshly installed FSX steam edition and a freshly installed Reality XP 430 add-on. It won't work, and I everytime I try to click on add-ons -> Reality XP GNS -> setup aircraft, I get a smaller black window in the corner of my screen and FS freezes. The only way I have to close the flight sim is by the task manager from there. I tried re-installing a few times, I still can't find a way for it to work at all. Thanks for any Help,

Trying to take advantage of the Special Sale ending 31Dec22 of GNS 430W v2 fltSim but when I select checkout nothing happens. Click Download E-Commerce installer and open it, a warning message saying it can't find the path. Probably because I'm on a internet computer not the sim computer as sim is a non-connected machine and not located here. Can I make the purchase on my non sim computer before the expiry date? Hello flightsimmers, Im working for my IFR rating so decided to try the RealsimGear toys and bought the GNS 430 which for instance is an excellent addon for your training! Almost a "must" Id say... It will save many many bucks when it comes to flying hours. Problem: My "Breadcrumb" line (Flightpath) and my recordings look like a zigzag all the way from T/O to land. Hi, I'm new to reality xp. I'm not able to get LPV approaches. WAAS is enabled. On one occasion I did get LPV with no vertical guidance. Since then all the RNAV approaches are only LNAV+V.

I'm running a C2 Pro Flight Simulator from Precision Flight Controls with a Reality XP GNS 430. Recently, my 430 has started to lag between inputs taking up to 10 seconds to flip between screens. I believe I'm running version 3.0 and I'm using 10 Pro. This is a new problem that has recently appeared. I've tried clearing the cache and this did not help. Hi, I have searched in many places but I could not find a way to configure a P3D Event Message to decrease or turn CCW the volume knobs for NAV/COM. The native messages GPS_POWER_BUTTON and GPS_ACTIVATE_BUTTON can turn the knob CW, but there's not documented message do to the opposite. Does anybody knows how it could be done? Thanks a lot.

I have the GNS 530W installed with the A2A 182 and I have set it up so that cities, bodies of water etc display on my map. I have tried zooming in and out and I can’t seem to get them to display. Any help would be appreciated.
