RXP GNS 530W/430W V2

Has anyone been able to get the AP on the A2A PA28 to follow the magenta line in a stable manner? I always steer the plane on course using HD mode, then enable either LO TRK or HI TRK. The autopilot can't stay in a straight line, it always wanders at least 1 degree left or right of track. Using FSX Steam Edition. Thanks

Hi, I have RXP on FSX with FSUIPC (Paid). I have several game controllers. How can I send game controller button presses to RXP? I see a discussion in the manual about mapping keystrokes, but not game controller buttons. There aren't a lot of unused keystrokes, either 🙂 Thanks , Ed

Hi, I use the Baron (6 pack not g1000 model) in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 with the GNS430 add on. I swear with the old flight sim I had in gold edition and the older GNS430 V1 RXP, when you OBS the gps on a waypoint and rotated the course bar it would change the OBS track to correctly represent what was set on HSI. Now using the one in Flight simulator 2020 when I click OBS, it makes me manually change the track instead of following what is set on the HSI Is there a setting i'm missing or not enabling to have that function work? Do I understand that the GNS530 controls only one radio? Does this mean that one must add (or retain) a second radio on the panel, or add the 430 for radio control? Thanks, Ed

Wondering if I can use game controller buttons to work the controls on the 530? Would the controls appear in the standard FSX controls? Would we use FSUIPC? Something else? Thanks, Ed Greenberg

Hi, Today I discovered that the RXP GNS430 has no map anymore but the message: TER FAIL. However the 650 works correctly. A problem has come up with my Propwash PWS530 device since I installed the latest update for Realityxp. Is is possible to revert to an earlier version? The problem is that the buttons/dials on the Propwash do not activate the 530 when the screen is moved to the device (device screen remains static) but the device buttons/dials do control the 530 when the screen is moved to the pc. Hope this makes sense. Using P3D V5.2. Thanks for any help. Martin

Hello, Im having issues with the GNS430, I use the Seneca V from Carenado. Basically the text at the bottom of the bottom GPS is cut off, and the top GPS screen is hanging outside of the screen, so to me...I need to move both GPS units up by around 1cm. I’m using P3d V4. my friend and I have the same issue. Literally losing my mind!!

Hi, i have recently started messing around with the realityxp gns530v2 on the Alabeo PA44. However, since the plane comes with a G600 PFD, i have had an issue regarding the obs function from the gns530. For example, after I have keyed in my flight plan and started flying using the GPS, when i toggled the OBS button via the GNS530, I am unable to freely move the GPS CRS. It does not allow me to freely choose a desired course when i tried turning the knobs. This is not the case when i fly the same PA44 in real world, it actually suspends the upcoming waypoints allowing me to freely choose my own desired track. I am currently using the Carenado PA44 with the included GNS530 from Alabeo. I decided to try and get the Reality XP 430W V2 for FSX-SE which was on sale as the website said it was compatible with the Alabeo PA44. I believe installing was all done correctly as i also do have the GNS trainer. However after running FSX-SE and start flying. I managed to get into "Add-ons -> Reality XP GNS -> Setup Aircraft" and then it brings me to a black blank windowed full screen still under running FSX. I have purchased the Garmin 530 and have also downloaded the trainer lite software. The problem is that I cannot locate or open the menu that allows me to choose an aircraft and install it in the trainer lite program. The aircraft I am trying to install it to has a configurator included with the 530 listed as an option, but it doesn't install it either. I have managed to download and apparently installed this software successfully, but nothing works. 😓 No short cuts, the RA Configurator is greyed out and the PC simulator fails to turn on and, there are no logs in "Documents". 😫 As I am no expert, I am requesting some one that has gone through this experience, to lend me a hand. For a long time, I was able to save the RXP GNS 530 window/panel size so when I started my flight, the RXP window was full size in it's own display monitor. Now, I have to continuously adjust the RXP panel size each time I begin a flight. Is there a configuration option somewhere which can start the panel in full size/screen mode, or any other advice on how to fix this?

Reality xp GNS 530 screen will not load into vc panel ( Fsx-se) ie shows as black for 1 second. Also I notice that in addons, after completing the setup, that the options menu will not show up under addons > reality xp gns. How do i resolve this?

Hi, yesterday I purchased the GNS530. After I fixed the TLS-Problem I could purchase and download the "rxpGNS2-FSIM-Setup"-File (23,8MB). But, after I run this file (also as Administrator) I got this error-message: "This setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program." My Carenado Cessna Skymaster is a Steam DLC aircraft and Steam installs it to its own file inside FSX called DLC. After using Carenados installer for GNS I got "could not load visual model" error when trying to load the Skymaster. Can it be that RXP does not find the plane from "DLC" instead of "Simobjects"?

Just purchased RealityXP GNS530 for FSX, it was working fine, and now it tells me when the aircraft loads that my licence is invalid. I tried to uninstall and re-install but get the same error message. Any suggestions? Thanks

I think that's the same heading as one I found three years ago, but I have the same problem and the solution then has not helped me. Neither set of knobs is functioning. No frequency changes on the left and no page changes on the right. The knobs turn but - nothing else. I have tried the advanced setting for the mouse with no change. I am using an Alabeo Aztec and have replaced their version for greater functionality. Help please!

P3DV4 WIN 10 G430 was working beautifully thank you but today on startup the 430 screen stayed black after starting engine and turning on Avionics master. Pushed COM/POWER knob but no response. Knobs rotate when clicked. Tried different aircraft. Same result.
