RXP GNS 530W/430W V2

Dear all, I dont know exactly from when the problem occurs, but since begining of the year, it is simply impossible to make a fly with the GNS530. The final result depends of the plane, with an A2A plane (V35 for exemple), the GNS freeze but the simulator still working, or the simulator crashes with the FlySimWare Falcon 50 (dual 530). I have reinstalled my RXP product with the last version this week, but still crashing. Hello Fellow Pilots, I am currently on a round the world flight, and my journey has brought me to Jakarta, as this is a region I have never flown in I am looking to visit the Volcano that almost brought down BA Flight 9 in 1982, I have found the Coordinates but I cannot find a way to enter a custom waypoint into a 530. Sorry to necro-quote this post. First of all, thanks for your work 🙂 I have one isse though, the GNS430 (only package I own) can't be slaved to Autopilot? I assume the CDI button on the bezel controls the NAV source (the default button in the A2A PA28 has NAV/ "INOP") My VOR1 OBI senses VLOC...,but it error flags GPS-signal (azimuth needle centred, no TO/FROM flag) Best regards

Hello I bought a license for reallity xp GNS530 for P3D V3 and V4, but when I installed the Garmin trainer the installer freezes and I need to force a close, then I star again the installation but now the GNS screen says "RXP INVALID LICENSE CONTACT VENDOR". I did all recommendation of the forum like: 1. check the reality xp folder in my Disk (c:/realitixp) . 2. I copied the lic file in all folder of sim. 3. I uninstalled the software and start a new installatin again. 4. I uninstalled and remove all files related to reality xp and run again the ecommerce enabled software. Any option works to me. Can you hep me?

I bought the rxp530 on 9th Feb 2020 and downloaded the .zip to my Downloads folder. I extracted this and installed the gauge in several aircraft. I noticed that along with the rxp530 executable, I have two 430 executables - 'rxpGNS2-430-FSIM.exe' and rxpGNS2-430-FSIM_feb282020.exe. Running these brings me to the F1 e-commerce store. If I decide to buy the 430, which .exe file should I run? I'd be grateful for advice.

Howdy! I own the GNS 530 since yesterday and wanted to fly missions generated by the plugin mission-x. Mission-x makes sure that if there is a GPS device in the airplane/helicopter, the path to be flown is shown as a line in the GPS device. This also works quite well with GPS devices already built into the aircraft, but not with the GNS 530 from Reality XP. Does anyone know what you could do to make the generated missions appear in the GNS 530 from Reality XP? Thanks in advance for your help and many greetings from Germany Gunter

I have spent several hours trying to install Garmin GNS 530 without success. I've read the instructions, disabled antivirus software, and have used only the default installation settings. Garmin Lite Training was installed during installation. I checked the box to have a shortcut placed on my desktop, but it never appears. I've done several installations, deleted files from those installations, run registry cleaner, have run rxpfsxml as administrator, etc., etc. No success so far, and I haven't found solutions here. I just bought this unit along with the three others, the 530, 750, and the 650. I probably messed up the installation of the 430. There was a blank window on screen when I forced a shutdown on the PC. The install may have been incomplete. So I went and tried a re-install but I'm getting the key error. How do I correctly validate the 430 key and complete the install? I have the *.key, *.lic and the *.htm files in the C\RealityXP. Is it okay for all four to be in the same C:\RealityXP folder? Do these share the same trainers or do I have to download a trainer for each one? Thanks. P.S. I'm on P3Dv4.x and WIn10.

After spending 60$ to buy the GNS 530/430, I am very displeased to find that it is not working. I ran both installers, booted up my A2A C172 after installing to 530/430 in the aircraft configurator, and attemped to turn on the gauge, but just a black screen, I tried messing with the GNS configurator but couldn't get it to work. Any suggestions?

Hello all ! Just bought the GNS530W v2 for Prepar3D v4.5 HF2 and try to install on my RealAir Duke B60 pistons model. The pop up is OK but no success with the virtual cockpit. I thinked it was automatic because on the RealAir Duke Config Panel "Panel Options" we have the choice of RXP530 and 430. In my case I can't select this option, is like the config panel don't know about the installed gauges. Thanks for the help !

Ben, I purchased Realityxp GNS530 and have installed it on several aircraft. Recently, I installed a Albea Piper Saratoga with the GNS530. When I try to install the Realityxp GNS530 addon, I get a folder that stated file is open in another program go back and close folder or the file and try again. The date on the message is the same date I installed the GNS addon. I contacted Albea and they replied that they have never encountered this annomoly to contact Realityxp. Can you help. Jim H .

Hello, Yesterday, I bought the GNS 430. I'm using the FSX-SE and Windows 10. During the installation process, I didn't have any issues, but, when I opened the aircraft, I couldn't click on anything, only the 2D window is working fine. I tried all the aircrafts (RealAir, Carenado, Alabeo, A2A), but I'm having the same problem. In addition, I decided to reinstall the product and clean all the things, but it didn't work too. My friend helped me today with Team Viewer and "lent" his computer to me. Unfortunately, I had the same problem in another PC. What can I do? Thanks in advance

Hi there, I purchased the GTN530 and am having issues with installing it. I have gotten past installing the trainer I believe but now the installer just hangs at 0%. I've read there can be pauses and it can appear as though its hung but this is a bit excessive. Does anyone have any idea if this is normal? Thanks, Tyler

Is it possible to run the GNS 530 display and/or hardware from a client computer. Here is the issue I can't solve.. I'm running immersion display pro to warp my screen. Every time I start P3d I have to drag the 530 window to my realsimgear hardware. I have tried to save the scenario after I have it setup, but this doesn't seem to work if I exit P3d. Is there anyway to get it to stay put on the correct display or run it from a client? Thanks..

HELLO Forum System: Prepar3D V4, A2A Cessna 172, Windows 7.0 I updated the Garmin 430 RealityXP software to version 2.4.16.1. To practice DME arch around a fix/VOR, I use the GNS 430 OBS functionality with the distance from the fix/vor to fly the arch/circle. After I updated the software I noticed the OBS knob on the CDI is no longer working in OBS mode. Basically, I can not dynamically change the DTK using the OBS knob on the CDI. Now I have to set the DTK using the GNS knobs and once it’s set you can’t change the DTK unless you cancel the current OBS DTK. I’m thinking I need to change a setting on the GNS so the DTK can be changed using the OBS kn…

I know this question has been asked 1000 times, but there seems to be no real solution. I want to update the NavData since the 2007 is a bit outdated. I know it uses the Garmin files from the 530 trainer and in order to get the newest files you need to purchase them from Garmin which I did. Now that I paid my 150, there is no way to download them without having a actual GNS 530W to connect to. I have tried every method from the Garmin site and they all want to connect to the actual device. Is there anyway around this or anyway to get newer NavData files that will work with this?

I am definitely a newb with the RXP GPS Products. But I have a problem... I have just installed RXP 530 and 430 on Prepar3d V4.5. All is working fine as popup instruments. The problem however is that I am trying to interface to a RealSimGear GPS interface. According to the instructions there should be a "Settings Panel" with a checkbox to allow RXP to intercept the standard GPS commands. The only menu for RXP that I have is "Setup Aircraft" which installs the RXP products to the panel with no issues. The Setup Menu is non existent..... Any Ideas on where I went wrong on this? Hi there. Years ago I had the old GNS 530/430 combo for FSX and a number of third party aircraft (Namely Carenado) had the ability to turn them on and off in the cockpit model (if you owned them). Then iwe all discovered they would not work in P3D. Fast forward to today? we have V2 now. Great. I am just coming back BTW and getting my bearings here.. Is there a list somewhere of confirmed planes that have integrated the new V2 kit? Or will V2 work in Carenado where the old V1 did? Does it work that way? I am not keen anymore modding cockpits. No time for that stuff anymore. Charles.

C:\Usere\Bdubb\Documents\Prepar3D V4 Add-ons\Reality XP An error occurred while trying to create a file in the destination directory: Setup was unable to create the directory: C:\Users\Bdubb\Documnets\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\Reality XP GNS", Error 2: The system cannot find the file specified. I am getting an error MSG on my 530. Stating that there is a configuration error and Config Service is Req'd. The MSG lite stays on permanently but everything else seems to be working as normal. Any idea's what configurtaion error needs to be fixed? As noted the 430 model works fine no error msg its just on the 530. Happens on all AC that i have the 530 installed on. Regards, Tom

Hello, I have started entering some way points into my user database on the GNS 530. Its a bit time consuming and i would like to be able to backup the data entered so that when i rebuild my system (It seems to happen far to often) I don't have to go back and reload all of my way points. I assume this is possible can someone please tell me what file i need to backup? Thank you Tom
