RXP GNS 530W/430W V2

Hello, I did install the RXP GNS 530.V2 in P3DV4.4. I am having the problem that the chart and the text is very pixelated and blocky. Is this as designed or can it be (hopefully) fixed? Greetings all. Can anyone point me to a configuration GNS430's for the Carenado Seneca V, using the v2 guages. I'm afraid auto-detect / no bezel doesn't size the gauge correctly, and I'm absolutely clueless as to which value affects which dimension in the panel.cfg. Thanks!

Newbie here so please go easy if I should be in different forum... Been flying the carenado pa34 Seneca V with their g1000 and gns430 series. Upgraded to the reality xp gns530 today and got it installed and working. However I don’t think it’s talking to the g1000. On the MFD side the gps course isn’t showing and I’ve seemed to lost most graphics as if I’m on total declutter at all times. On the PFD side I had a localizer tuned in and it wasn’t showing. Any suggesti9ns?

Hi, As you may already know, it seems expected Prepar3D 4.4 gets released tomorrow, Nov 28 2018. This is a quick note to let you know what is expected on our end: we'll be releasing a GNS V2 update compatible with Prepar3D v4.4 as soon as possible after it is officially released. Each new version has been different but past updates didn't take us longer than about a day. Once we do, our add-on is fully compliant to the Prepar3D SDK and installs entirely in its own folder using the addon.xml method. You can safely uninstall the P3D4 client and you won't loose any RXP file. Therefore, I'd suggest you wait for our update prior updating to P3D 4.4.

Hello everyone! I'm considering about buying the Reality XP GNS pack, but first I would like to know if there's a way to update the Airac cycles regularly... I asked the same question in the simforums of Flight 1 about their similiar product, but they've said that the only way is through the Garmin and it's a bit expensive... I recently purchased the RealityXP Garmin GNS 430 (FltSim). I am having trouble finding the add-on menu in FSX. I tried the shift right click feature as instructed and still no add-on. Is there someone at Reality XP I can contact directly for support with this issue? Perhaps a step by step guide would do.

OK, I hope it's only me but .... I have installed the 530/430 into the Turbine Duke but the autopilot just goes into a complete circle when engaged in NAV mode. I can confirm that I have installed GNS version 2.4.5 into P3D v4.4. I have attached my ini files if anyone would be kind enough to spot my deliberate mistake(!). After doing some researching from our resident experts here I came up with GTN and GNS installations for the Duke (using panel folders "panel.GTN" and "panel.GNS" and editing the aircraft.cfg file accordingly. I am running Prepar3d V4 (latest version) with RXP GNS530 V2 with the FSUIPC and elite hardware confirmation. I've been able to get all the AP3000 GPS buttons to work and sync with the GNS530 using the lite hardware configuration (in the add-on menu) but I am having trouble with the knobs. I think this is more of an issue of I don't know the key sequence the knob turns actually perform and there is no way to set it in the elite config. Based on the RXP manual I already tried the below commands and they didn't work. Hi all, I am searching for the configuration files for the RXP GTN750/650 and RXP GNS530/430 for the Real Air Turbine Duke v2 and Lancair Legacy aircraft. Can anyone provide these mods or links to them? Searching through the RXP "Official Panel Configuration Mods" threads I found only a reference for the Lancair from Ryan but the links are broken. I would be really grateful if someone could put the Real Air aircraft mods in one place. Thank you very much.

Hello everyone I just installed the 2.440 update. it was hopeless to have LPV management in Europe and this because the garmin 530 trainer application that was at fault (too old and abandoned by Garmin). also it's magic and it works now, thanks to RXP developper. now we have a precise glide in LPV for RNAV Gnss procedure in EUROPE. My question is: is it possible to couple the autopilot in GPS mode on this glide and if so how? (APR does not work nor NAV, only LOC is followed) Thanks and best regard Gilles from LFBD

Hello RXP, A newcomer to the RXP GNS gauges, like many others, I am a little disappointed by the somewhat out of date data base used in the GNS simulations and the current lack of ability to achieve a practical update solution. I don't really know the exact age or what Airac Cycle they use but I am running into a lot of missing approaches and changed runway id's, etc. I know little to nothing about how all of this works, but I have been using fsaerodata for about a year to update the P3D nav database. Hi all, I bought the latest Just Flight PA-24 Archer III aircraft and as unfortunately Just Flight does not support the RXP panels and I do not own the F1 GNS, I tried to fit them. I was very happy after I found the thread below for the Arrow III and many thanks go to Scott and Jay for their tips of how to make this work. The solution worked easily for the Archer III. The only issues that I have currently and I would be glad for your help are the following: 1) The clicksopts for the rotary buttons are way off the 3D units. Just purchased the GNSv2 units a couple days ago; so a real "babe in the woods" here with many questions. I have been just about wearing out the search function here and finding many answers and working my way through things. However, I have been finding some mention of this issue here and in reviews,etc. but never anything definitive; so here goes. How do I get Reality XP GNS to show up in the Add-on menu in FSX-SE? I have the RXP working on my Alabeo PA23 panel with the exception of the GPS vertical reference signal is not showing up on the HSI (GS on HSI only works for ILS approaches - not LPVs...). The "Reality XP GNS" option never showed up in my FSX-SE Add-on Menu option to access setup options. I believe if I had this menu option showing up I could get in and adjust the settings. It appears everything for RXP showed up in C:\Program Files (x86)\Reality XP on my computer when installing. I believe the rspfsxml.exe file needs to be activated in FSX-SE to be on the add-on menu. Hello, I am thinking to buy GTN 750 for larger aircrafts and GNS 530 for smaller ones such as C182. Would it make sense ? Could GTN and GNS be crossed ? A2A aircraft configuration shows panel integration for RXP GNS. Does it apply to the latest models v2 ? Thanks Eric

Hi-I have the latest P3dv4.3 and latest RXP installer on Windows 7. I use NVidia surround on 3 monitors, with a fourth for instruments. The RXP program itself installs fine, and there's an RXP line in the addons menu. I go to configure an aircraft by adding a pop-up window and go through the normal steps. Once done, in the aircraft instruments options there is then an option to select the RXP window. I check it, but the RXP popup unit never shows--in any window. I go in and out of full screen, three/four monitors to one, minimize and maximize windows but to no avail--no RXP unit ever shows. This never happened before--the RXP window always popped up like it was supp…

Greetings, Just did complete rebuild of my FS PC and trying to install this add-on. I run it as "Admin" but after it downloads and installs the Trainer, it freezes. There's no other window available to select using the "ALT"+"TAB" keys. Can't even select "cancel" to terminate the install. Have to kill it forcefully but unfortunately does not finish the install. Hello, I'm experiencing compatibility issues with the RXP G430/G530 and A2A's V35 Bonanza. GPS coupling is lacking with constant full deflection movement of the HSI CDI needle. Similar post has been made in A2A's forum. I hope there is at least one other person on the planet that prefers GNS units to GTN. P3Dv4.3

I can not import the flight plans as shown in the manual so I do not know where I messed up at. The flight plan page only has 2 selectable pages not 3 pages where the import flight plan is

I Have not problem at all installing the product but after that, it does not show on my computer at all , although I have all the files and carpets but i don't know how to use it in fsx or how to use the product , I need to know if my product can be installed on the cockpit in fsx planes like Carenado/Alabeo

Hi fellas, Upon my first flight with the excellent A2A Bonanza I discovered the backlighting of the GNS 530 knobs was always on, although the radio backlighting in the aircraft is of. I checked the RXP ini file (I could not get the options to appear with shift.right click) and figured the brightness.bezel = 100 had to be set to a lower value or 0. After having done this it didn't have any effect, apart from the popup disappearing altogether, only showing the black window. What could be the issue here? How can I get the bezel backlighting to work properly?
