RXP GNS 530W/430W V2

I don't see the 182 in the config thread or other searches, and haven't been able to find anything definitive otherwise. I have found some threads that seem to say it'll work, but I'm not sure how, as the RXP choice remains grayed out. Editing the panel.cfg thread doesn't seem to allow the screens to show up in the panel, only in pop-up. Can this combo be made to work?

I bought the GNS 530 through F1. I am trying to reinstall using the wrapper. I have the keyfile and the password, but I am getting an error message (wrong password). I am wondering whether I have the correct installer. I tried to launch a ticket on the F1 website, but it is impossible (500 error). I was referred by F1 to this website. Can you help? Hi, I've updated the GNS530W from version 2.3.8 to version 2.3.9 and after the installation now there is a message over the screen: "Invalid license, contact vendor". Can you help me? Thanks Ferro

I've previously installed and am currently using with no isues the 530 GNS v.1 (ie: legacy). I just purchased and installed the 430 GNS v.2. The installation said it completed successfully. A compelling reason to buy the v.2 GNS was the statement from the website touting the new panel installation process. The website references that in the Add-Ons menu within FSX should show 'Reality XP GNS' as a menu option , and that a user should be able "to add or remove GNS unit to your aircraft panel...no need to edit the panel.cfg files or restart the simulator". I'm not seeing this option show when I unhide the menu bar in FSX. I do see the Add-Ons menu appear…

The LPV Glideslope is not working on my RXP GNS530 install on my Alabeo PA23. The GNS is connected to the HSI on the Alabeo PA23 and the glideslope works fine for a ILS approach with the GNS530 selected VLOC mode. However on an LPV approach (with GPS mode selected on the GNS530), only the VCDI is functioning on the HSI and the GS is inactive (HSI GS off flag on). I noticed during the instrument check on the GNS530 on initial start up, the LCDI half left works fine on the HSI, but the GS flag still shows off and the VCDI check can not be confirmed (GS flag covers). A2A PA24 Comanche w/ RXP V2 GPS 400 I didn't realize until today the latest FSX/P3D version now includes the GPS 400. This is special for me as I prefer the 400 to the 430 in the A2A PA24 in order to full utilize the Narco VHF 1/2 sets. Unfortunately, I'm unable to get VC setup correct in P3DV4.1. Does anybody know how to accomplish this?

I'm experimenting with using the GNS500 to replace GPS295 installations where by I've created a new version of the default gauge but I've removed the display and left the keys. The GNS530 works great in the Aerosoft Twin Otter using the default gps commands so by my logic this should work as well. The 500 screen fits nicely into vacant space and all of my buttons are clickable (I'm using Carenado's C185 to test this as it has a GPS295 in the VC). So all appears well except that the buttons don't seem to have any effect what so ever on the RXP GNS screen. Eventually, as I become more computer savy...and a new desktop, I'll have FS X. So far, I need to de-activate the MS update KB 3086255 before starting FS 9. I am using the RXP 430 in teh A2A 172 and when i installed it a couple of days ago. all worked very well. I am not sure what happened but when I switch the 430 into VLOC it all works fine. If i click the CDI to go to GPS it is not working. The switch on th panel shows GPS but my VOr isnt working. I know I may not be giving enoug info. Sorry. I did look at the .ini file and see it has true for the CDi to switch the NAV/GPS button. Ive been trying to get this myself for two days now. ugh lol Thank you

Hi All, I purchased the RXP GNS 530 for FSX-SE last night and I am having problems getting it to appear in the “Add-on” menu option in FSX-SE. I think it maybe just an issues files were installed in the proper locations on my computer. In the RXP GNS 530 install setup wizard I selected FSX-SE and C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX for where the FSX.exe file was located. The destination location was for the install was C:\Program Files (x86)\Reality XP\GNS Simulation\FltSim. At completion of the install it said that a shortcut was created. Hi everyone, bear with me here as this is my first time using a support forum and also downloading a payware gauge. Anyways I bought the Carenado PC12 just the other day and after realizing that the default gps and fms system is quite lacking, I did some research and bought the RXP GNS 530. I thought I followed the instructions as best I could but I just cannot get the smaller, inside knobs to work. The bigger, outside ones that change pages and change part of the radio frequencies seem to work just fine but without the inside ones, the gauge is hard to use. I wonder if anyone's gotten either the 530 or 430 working in Just Flight's Arrows? These planes come with F1 integration and in FSX with the legacy 530 it was a fairly simple matter of substituting the RXP entries for the F1, setting up the config files and so forth. I've now installed the Turbo Arrow in P3Dv4 and am trying to get the 530 in. The process seemed to go well. I had no trouble sub-ing the 530 into the panel and all knobs and buttons appear to be working. What's not working is getting the unit to drive the CDI. I've tried every option I'm aware of but the needles remain stubbornly dead. Amusingly, I can link the OBS and it will change course on the …

Hi, I have installed RXP GNS 530W/430W V2 in FSX and after the installation, my screens are now black. I am using a Carenado PC-12. Do I need to configure it, and if so how. I must say that Reality-XP is causing their customers a lot of headache by not explaining for each plane how to configure it. I am using FSX SP2 and Windows 7 Pro. Hi guys, When I set up my aircraft from cold and dark, I configured my GNS 530 pop-up window to turn on when the Avionics Switch is set to on. This works as expected. But when I finish my flight and switch off the Avionics, the GNS stays on. Even when I switch off the battery the unit keeps running, which is kind of strange because there is no electricity left to power it. Any idea how I can fix this? Best regards, Fabian
