RXP GNS 530W/430W V2

I am using the latest version of the GNS2 units in FS9 (v2.4). I am not sure if this is a bug or operator error, but what is the default information displayed when the unit first starts up? I seem to recollect that it included airports, roads, etc, but for the the last few months the screen always starts with just a bare map (ie; black land and blue water displayed). The only time that any information appears is after I enter a flight plan. Is this correct? I have tried using the 'Map Setup' menus, but it tells me that all the elements (land data, aviation data, etc) are ON. But when I exit the menu back to the main screen, the map is still empty. Hi all, I just bought and installed the GNS 430/530 and have tried to get it to work in the A2A Comanche. The 430 works fine but following the same steps for the 530 gets it in the aircraft, all the buttons "work" but there is no display. The A2A configuration is setup to use the 530 but I just get no display... Any ideas?

Hi all. Any chance the Reality XP GNS 530W V2 is compatible with the Carenado Pilatus PC12 in Prepared V2/3/4 (or other Carenado turboprop aircraft)? The Carenado website for PC12 states: NOTE: This aircraft does not have a 2D panel. Reality XP only work in FSX. It does not work in P3D I guess there is something aircraft specific which would make it incompatible? I'm hoping V2 has some sort of 'work around'? Thank you

Anyone know why my GNS 430 all of a sudden says expired or invalid. First my Spad.next stops working asking me to purchase it again and now this. I have a new build but I reinstalled the products. LouP

Hi guys, I have a new PC that was built for me I7 8700k, 64 gig RAM, GTX 1080 4 SSDs, 5 HDDs. I am working on getting everything working in P3D but can't seem to get my GNS 530 and GNS 430 running. I tried to just run the RXP install but that did not fix it. What am I missing? Should I uninstall after the last install to get things lined up and reinstall again or is there something else that needs to be done with RXP when getting a new PC. Thanks, LouP

Hi, I've just rebuilt a clean machine. Am running P3Dv3 under Win 10. Have loaded RXP GNS430 very early in build sequence - not much else on. Downloaded a fresh copy but when installed I got a SimConnect_Open failed error in the log and it wasn't working. Then went back and installed version 2.3.7 which I had working well on the previous build. Install went clean - no errors. Have Reality XP GNS V2 in the Options/Add-Ons menu and it is enabled but have no Addon option on the top menu to add/configure the RXP GNS gauge. Have loaded my old aircraft with all old config files and the units themselves work fine but the configuring menu is not availab…

I just installed the latest version of the GNS530 and GNS430 in both P3Dv4.2 and FSX:SE. Using the configuration tool I installed them in the new Milviz C310R Redux in anticipation of finalizing the Service Release this weekend. To my utter surprise and confusion, both units refuse to "turn on" and the screen remains completely dark. All mouse actions are working, which proves that the gauges are loaded... I installed the same pair into the C172 in FSX:SE as a "sanity check" and the same thing applied there as well: the screens remain totally dark.

Just a quick question for the more advanced panel editors on here. Have any off you guys taken on the challenge of using these new V2 Rxp 530 units with the Aerosoft Diamond DA20-100 'Katana' 4X? I fell in love with that aircraft when I first purchased it so many years ago for FSX, having it in P3D with a working RXP 530 would be a blessing... However it's coding is far to complicated for my rookie panel editing "skills". Any thoughts?

A new issue just started for me today...I can't think of any changes I've made to my sim; Trying to fly the AS Twin Otter with the G530 and the simulator hangs for long periods of time. During the hangs, the G530 will shut down and restart. I've only had the Aircraft about 5 days...it was working without issues. Event Viewer is indicating an application fault (G530sim.exe) with the fault module as krnlsim.dll I was using FSUIPC 5.122. I tried to update to 5.124 as well as revert back to 5.103...all with the same results. I've tried reloading RXP from the F1 Wrapper and that didn't make any difference either. Any thoughts on what I might try? …

I've been trying to track down a nagging problem that wasn't an issue in FSX. I use FSXFlight to send GPS location & traffic data to an iPad running ForeFlight. In FSX it worked flawlessly. But in P3DV4 it has always had ~25 degree left heading error. I have always assumed it was a P3D issue even though FSXFlight doesn't use the P3D Broadcast GPS function, which is notoriously bad. But tonight while troubleshooting I was flying an airplane with a pop up GNS v2 installed but not turned on and the heading was perfect. Hi, Its excellent that the 530 volume knob correctly simulates the power down and power up procedure exactly the same as the real world system does. It’s a great feature! would it be possible to somehow report the power state out to say a spare Fsuipc value or an event id? Hi, The GNS530 loads, starts up and runs while aircraft is on the ground. I can load and save flight plans and everything seems to work as advertised. Once it starts to roll the 530 becomes very slow. Tried to find help on the forum but cannot find an answer. Thanks
