RXP GNS 530W/430W V2

Hi-thanks much for the tip, but I don't understand the above. If I copy that file and rename the copy and save it, that won't overwrite the existing file--it creates a second file with the same content and a different name. Do you mean simply renaming the existing file, or creating a whole new file with the same name? If a whole new file with the same name, what is its content?

Hello All, I purchased the GNS530W V2 and am having an issue getting it to follow the GPS route I have programmed into the Garmin? I'm using P3D V3 I probably have just screwed something up with the config but Thanks in advance!

issue: when using GPS500, not getting the LPV guidance, GNS530 shows the LPV guidance. this one is easy to replicate, go to KTKI rwy17 and tune to ILS, should see the loc/gs needles and activate RNAV17, should also see LPV needles sitting at the end of rwy. using GPS500, no gs when ILS is tuned, regardless of the nav/gps switch if LinkVor = true. if LinkVor=false, then ILS gs needle appears. RNAV needle does not show up regardless of nav/gps switch or LinkVor setting. using the GNS530, if CDI=gps and RNAV is activated, gs shows up. If CDI=vloc and ILS is tuned, gs shows up. this is with CDI button connected to the nav/gps switch setting = true (if false…

Ive just bought both the gns530 and 430 for P3dV4 and installed them just like normal with no problems. but there isn't any Reality XP menu at all in my Addons menu. Its as if the gns 530/430 isn't running. Is there a way to activate these in like a exe.xml or .dll somewhere that didn't get turned on? Yes I have also downloaded the trainer lite too.

I may be missing something completely here but changing nobezel = false to nobezel = true in the RXP.GNS.INI file is not removing the bezel. ##Update## It is working but I'm having to shift left click top of the bezel to make it disappear. Glenn

Hi, this is not an official endorsement from Reality XP, but just an information about this hardware device and the Reality XP GNS V2. One of our customer has generously posted his step by step information about this devices and how it works great for him in X-Plane with our GNS V2 for X-Plane, thanks to our "Use GPS Simulator Commands" option. It looks like this device is also compatible with P3D, and we do offer the equivalent option in our Reality XP GNS V2 for FltSim. The legacy rxpGNS came with a GMA340 that allowed selection of monitoring either com 1 or 2 while transmitting on the other. Great feature as in RL. Is there a hidden rxpGNSV2 GMA340 somewhere with the same feature? I installed the dual gnsv2 into the Carenado A36 and the A36 GMA340 doesn't have that feature.

Anyone know how to get the 530 v2 into the VC of the Otter and Carenado C337? I can't figure out how to do it. Used the automatic configuration feature, but it won't work. Thanks

I just purchased GNS 530/430 V2 for P3DV4 and having nothing but errors trying to install. Error Code 32 - What is that? It is quite the mess with the 530 installed, but not the 430. I will likely be forced to uninstall/reinstall which is ugly for a new start. Considering the expense, I hoped this would have gone smoother. Les Parson

I am unable to add the RXP GNS to a default plane in FSX:SE. It simply minimizes the sim when I select from the add-on menu. I tried windowed and full screen. I am able to get this menu in the A2A Comanche, but apparently adding with the menu in the sim does nothing.

using the gns530v2: although the wind vector is set to "on" in the map setup, i'm not seeing the wind vector like i see it in the classic rxp gns530. anything i can try to get it to display?

I'm not sure if this question is appropriate, but if I start the 3.30p Trainer in standalone mode, the unit does not turn on. All other buttons appear to work OK, the unit simply won't power up. Works OK in P3D4 though. I was just wondering if there is anything different about this version of the Trainer? David

I was flying around PNW and I was not able to D to Orbx airports (The small airports). Is it some settings I have to do on the GNS530 or this because the underlying DB do not have these small airports?

Having used the V1 GNS430 successfully in the RealAir Piston Duke, I've upgraded to the V2 gauge and am having a problem using the new 430 in the VC. I used the menu option to replace the existing V1 gauge with the new and at first appearance things seemed ok. The windowed gauge works fine, but with the VC gauge I cannot access the left lower knob clickspot to change the khz frequencies ( no mouse cursor appears). The upper knob clickspot to change mhz is ok as is the center click spot on the knob, I've not changed any other settings, but against my assumption, I wonder if the new gauge dimensions are slightly different from the old?I'd be grateful for some guid…

Firstly Jean-Luc and the guys - great job !! Have been waiting for this since Christmas and it hasn't disappointed. I swung over to P3D some time back but have been frustrated with no realistic 430 to practice IFR. Don't expect to get the 10+ years of use I got out of version 1 but am looking forward to pushing it. Have come across an issue that I'm pretty sure is a bug. I first noticed it when I added an approach to a flight plan then couldn't get the Autopilot to pick up a change to selected way point. never had xfill on the original gns430+530, good to get it on the new rxp gauges. works like a charm on the pc12. asp4 wx radar gauge showing wx south of ktpa tonight.
