RXP GNS 530W/430W V2

Hello , i am trying to install the software but at a certain point during the installation (last step after the garmin install) the installation freezes..... any thoughts?

What is the difference between the legacy GNS 530/430 (for FSX) and the new V2? As I understand it, V2 is currently only available for X-Plane, is that correct? Moreover, I am planning to eventually make the leap from FSX to P3DV4. I am of the minority that prefers GNS 530/430 to the GTN 750/650 is smaller GA class aircraft and RXP is an absolute requirement. Thanks / Les Parson

I recently purchased Reality XP gns 530w/430w software with the intention of interfacing it to work with my external flightsim gns 530 unit and use the external unit for navigation. I have fsuipc installed. I cannot get the external unit to work with the RXP software.It all works fine with a gns panel cfg. from one of the Prepar3d planes.I can get the software to work and it all works OKsetting it up in a panel within Prepar3d Can someone please direct me to some information on how to set this software up for an external flightsim gns unit ? Just purchased and installed the 430 and 530 v2, but I am having real problems trying to use them. Installation seemed to go well, but once I start FSX:SE and try to access the rxp entry in the Add-ons menu, the program appears to attempt to run, but freezes in a weird format and crashes FSX. I have tried to attach a photo with no success but can send it to you if this is the first you've heard of this problem. I am running Window 10 Pro, 64-bit, the latest version of FSX:SE, on an i7 960 with 12 Gb of ram and the GeForce GTX970 Graphics card. I was using the F1 GNS set of gauges with no problems. Sorry ... I'm NOT happy ! I can not figure out how to install the Reality XP Complete Version GNS V2 (RXP GNS 530W/430W V2) into the Carenado P46T Malibu JetProp DL. I can not get either the 530 or 430 to load into the cockpit panel. I have tried both the CAR_XP included with the aircraft and can not figure out how to properly use the included Add-On tool (Replace any similar GPS gauge with a GNS gauge using an auto-detect feature) Can anyone please HELP ...

Hello, Please verify it is necessary to execute V1.6.0.1 rxpGNS-WAAS-HARDWARE-DRIVER.exe, purchase for $99, and the driver works on P3Dv4.3. My plan is to drive a PFC430 and GNS 530W/430W V2. Thanks

So what did you do to fix it? Also what program did you use to export the flight plan? I tried using every fpl file offered by simbrief but they failed to load. I then tried little nav map and exported using the setting specifically made for the rxp gns 530 and, while i got further in the process, it said i had incorrect waypoints???

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask but could I possibly Get some assistance with configuring the panel on the Extreme Protoype GLJ 25? They even included a manual on adding custom panels but I just cannot seem to get it right. Thanks.

This question is for someone with tech support and RealityXP. I have a issue with the Installation of RealityXP 430 and 530 GNS software. My Airline cockpit that I made has Goflight modules, MCP-PRO, EFIS etc, and I use the Go Flight Interface Tool 3.6.1, with PMDG737NGX v 1.20.8465. FSX Accel. Win 8.1 I run all programs as Admin. After installation of the Reality GNS software, I also had to install the Garmin trainer and Microsoft flight Simulator SimConnect Client v. 1.0.61259.0 Their software works with a GA aircraft. Anyone else having any problems in virtual reality with the gns 530 or 430 utilizing Flyinside? Mine either looses the course line, locks up, or reboots right after takeoff after spending a while programming it. This stuff only started happening since I started flying in virtual reality mode with a Samsung Odyssey. I have been swapping out the gns units for default gps units and it hurts to do so. LouP

My RXP GNS2 does not want to follow the GPS flight plan since I updated P3D to V4.3. It powers up just fine and looks OK, but it does not steer the autopilot..

My RXP has been working without an issue for 6 months now on every aircraft I configured it for (add-on menu). I recently installed the Alabeo C207 and configured this plane for the pop-up GNS 530, the configuration appeared to work as expected. now when I attempt to pull up the RXP system from the views menu it pops-up as normal but immediately disappears. It is happening on all my aircraft now that were previously configured which were working as expected.

Hi All I just purchased the GNS 530W V2 and have installed it using the addons menu into the Carenado B1900D. When the aircraft loads, I get a message at the top of the GNS screen saying "RXP INVALID LICENSE CONTACT VENDOR". I CAN continue using the product for a limited time, but then the product screen resolution becomes pixelated with a red message in the centre of the screen saying "Reality XP Software EXPIRED or INVALID". The unit continues to work, but is obviously unusable in this state. I am able to provide my proof of purchase from the Flight 1 e-commerce system, but obviously won't post it on this forum! Hi! Have been spending hours trying to get the newly purchased RXP GNS V2 to interact with my FSX SP2. Tried reinstalling both FSX and RXP as well as SimConnect. I don't get any error messages but when I start the FSX and load the new C421 (or any other plane), I never see any add-on menu. Can't even seem to find the log files as per location in the user's manual ??? (I do see the rxpGNS2.dll in the GAUGES folder so it must have ran the installer at least partly) Win 8.1 Pro 64 Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot? Thanks

I am trying to automate the NAV1 ident function. I have tried variously using a keyboard shortcut and setting the 'rxp.radios.nav_1' Lvar but whichever way I find that once the ident is on, it won't switch off even of the "id" indicator goes off the display. I also tried setting the 'rxp.GNS_530_1.knob_volm' Lvar to just change the volume up and down but I can't seem to write to that Lvar successfully. I also note that the ident doesn't seem to be inhibited by the P3D speaker panel settings. I would appreciate some hints on getting this to work. I am assuming it is late functionality as not all the Lvars are documented in the manual.

May I say what I have done so far please: I am using the emuteq 530 hardware GPS and it is already installed and recognized by windows. I can easily undock the 2d panel or anything else (other than the one I need) into it - in windowed mode of course. The hardware is also recognized and working in the windows game controller module. Hello, System: P3D v 4.2 on Win 10 machine. I have the GNS 430w V2.1, and successfully installed it into the Alabeo PA32. I can use the GPS to navigate enroute (it drives the HSI needle), but the problem arises when I activate a GPS approach: the 430w continues to provide lateral guidance, but I get no glideslope (the 430w does change to LPV mode). Whereas in my Alabeo C404, I can fly a full LPV approach to minimums. The stock PA32 has both a 530 and a 430. I replaced the 430 with the Reality XP 430w using the Addon wizard, and again, it works fine for everything but APP. Might this have something to do with the stock 530 being present? I tried "insta…

Hi Folks, I've read through a number of posts regarding install, but can't seem to get the auto-replace function to work in my Alabeo C404 in P3D v4. I can get the pop-up version to work, but not the in-panel one. When I tried using the wizard, it did replace the default GNS 430 with the Reality XP gauge, but there were 2 issues: The RXP gauge was too big for the existing bevel and so only part of it could be seen. Additionally, the bevel buttons were non-functional. I repeated the process after using Alabeo's utility to install the old RXP gauge, but that was worse - the gauge was blank after running the RXP wizard. However I can still bring up …

Hi-bought the first version of the new GNS 530 and installed it into P3Dv4.1. All my GoFlight modules worked perfectly with it, so that almost all GNS 530 functions were controlled without using a mouse. This ability continued through updates until the latest one I installed a few days ago. None of the GNS units in various aircraft can now be controlled with GoFlight. Uninstalled and reinstalled the 530 in aircraft, but still no result. The GoFlight modules still work with the default GNS 500, though. Any suggestions for fixing this, or should I go back to the prior version of the 530? Thanks, Jay
