RXP GNS 530W/430W V2

After flying for a while (FSX-XP, Windows 10, Realsimear GNS 430 running RXP) the buttons on the unit stop working after a Bonjour error - "10054 an existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host" Any know fixes? Thanks

Hi, I've had two GNS430s running flawlessly as 2D popups in Alabeo's Seminole for a few weeks now, but all of a sudden they've stopped powering on when I load the sim. The popups appear, but the screens are blank and the volume/power knob doesn't turn them on. I'm currently using RXP 530 v2 and piston duke v2 with FSX-SE. Popup windows works great but there's two problem I can't resolve. In VC, the gns530 half screen is blocked with black screen. In VC, I can click all button but the button and knob is not rendered properly. Is there possibly any way to fix this?

Hello, I purchased the Reality XP GNS530 product yesterday with the intention to learn to use it on the Alabeo Cessna 310R. I want to join in the London to Australia rally and after years of flying VOR/NDB navigation in light aircraft and years of flying the big tin using FMC/Radio navigation, I wanted to learn this method for the rally and for VFR flying generally. I checked that the Alabeo Cessna does support the inclusion of the GNS530 and there is an EXE file that removes the original Alabeo gauge and inserts the RXP one. I have had cdp_mfd_sim_400.dll crash on me, flying near Livorno, Italy, trying to access the terrain page. That's the first time that has ever happened, so I may just ignore it. In your view, should I send the event viewer data to RealityXP, or, not worry about it?

Hello to all, I am new to this forum and am limited on cpu knowledge. I recently purchased a gns 530 and cannot get the buttons to work ...i have tried a couple keyboard assignments in the reality xp documents folder and nothing works. Any help would be much appreciated.  thanks

I can't seem to call up the "Checklist" in FSX. I've extracted the checklist.zip file and placed it in the 172 aircraft file as a .txt file. I also copied it and renamed it to "checklist.gns". When I start the 530 and select the "Go to Checklists" on the "Instrument Panel Self Test" page, it goes to "Import Flight Plan". I push "CLR" and it goes to "Checklist" page but it shows "Used 0 Empty 9". I've tried on multiple aircraft with the same results. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks, Steve

Sorry if this has been addressed before, but I've successfully installed the 430/530 V2. The 430 works beautifully, but the 530 will not power up at all. What am I missing? Windows 7 FSX-SE Thanks for your help

just purchased the MILVIZ DHC-3T Turbo Otter and they have a panel for inserting a GTN750 & a GNS430 & a wx radar. But the panel is for an F1 GTN and an RXP GNS. I've successfully changed the GTN to RXP but I can't get the GNS configured to the right size in the VC and I can't get the GNS pop up to work. I created two .ini files, one for the GTN as GTN_750_1 and one for the GNS as _2. Has anyone already gone down this path successfully?

Before anybody says that I should contact Ezdok about this, it was working without any issues before I installed 530W V2. Above is the error I get with Ezdok after installing 530W V2. Has anybody else had this issue? Using Windows 10 and FSX-SE. If I only install 530W V2 it works great and visa versa but not with both products installed. Anyways I can contact Ezdok as well but just wanted to post here too if it's something that can be looked into on the RealityXP side. Thanks!

I bought the Reality-XP GNS 530 V2 last night, read everything, searched online and can not figure out how to make it work with my Realair duke V2. The GPS doesn't even show up as available to use. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and please keep in mine. I'm not a very tech savvy person. Thanks much, Jon

Hi Colleagues, I purchased the GNS530 as well the Realty XP for my P3D v4 flight sim system, and after completing the configuration, I noticed, when I create flight plan on P3D v4, somehow I am not able to sync the plan to load on the GNS530. I contacted RealSimGear where I purchased the unit, they told me this is possible issue with the Realty XP software, and they suggested I contact Them. I will appreciate someone who know this issue with a fix. thanks, George

I spend 3 hours with Realsim Gear team try to install my gps GNS 530 for FSX. They reinstalled Reality xp GnS530 for fsx steam. when you run the set up aircraft wizard , no 530 ever show up in the aircraft of the intrument. They said contact xp for solution. They installed for 3dv4 and work perfect! The problem is on fsx. Any help will be appreciated!

I want to copy the user waypoints and flight plans from one machine to another (both have RXP GNS 530 installed). How can this be done?

How do I turn off update popups? They are causing system crashes during long flights - very inconvenient! Thanks Mike

A2A Cherokee 180 for the RXP GNS 430, 530 and the RXP GPS 400

I just purchased the RXP GNS 430 for FSX for Steam and began the install. However, it crashed during installation and I had to kill the installer in Task Manager. Upon running the installer a second time, it seemed to install fine. I was able to get it to run in FSX but got a warning of an invalid or expired license. I restarted FSX and now FSX crashes out to a black window when I select the Add-on. I reset my license and that hasn't made a difference. Clearly something got hosed up on install. Thoughts? Hi all, I though everything was going well with my gns530 from RXP but I found a problem :) Here's the situation, Yesterday I loaded a fly, took off and then set a "direct to" in the GNS, I pushed the cdi button to switch to GPS mode and then hit the NAV button on my autopilot, right from there my plane started to turn right and kept flying in circle instead of tracking the magenta course on the gps.... So I tried something else, loaded a flight plan in P3D, I poped on the runway and was able to see my flightplan ready in the GNS, from there hitting the nav button work well and the plane follow correctly the GNS So my first guess i…

I have been using the RealityXP GNS 530 in Prepar3d for a while now, I just ran the check for updates and I was a few versions behind. I have used the e-commerce wrapper to authenticate and download the latest version, I have re-instralled the software without issue but when I go into Prepar3d the 530 now states "RXP INVALID LICENSE CONTACT VENDOR" I have tried uninstalling the software then retrying the install, but it still states INVALILD LICENSE. What am I doing wrong? I have the flight 1 proof of purchase which I have private messaged RXP direct..

Perhaps I have missed something but I have not seen any comment from RXP concerning compatibility with the newly released P3D v4.5 Hotfix. Is there an update coming? Is the current version compatible? This is the only add on I am waiting to hear from before I update. Any information would be appreciated. I have installed a Realsimgear GNS430 but the buttons are controlling the GPS on the FSX-SE aircraft panel rather than the Realsimgear display. Anyone know the setting to toggle between the two GPS units so the buttons contol the second (Realsimgear) GPS? Thanks Mike

Is there a discount for people that purchased the GNS530 in the past to upgrade to the newest version? I have the order number and certificate from my prior order. I would love to install in the A2A BE35 so that I can fly in the sim with the same setup that I have real world. Thanks, John
