the state of the art in vc night lighting enjoyed on the FSL A320 can be translated to the mighty QotS2--volumetric spot light projection with perfect color blending really improves what we see on the QotS2: best to watch in full screen in HD. the old .bmp based light maps don't hold up against the FSL spotlights and it sure adds to the immersion of the sim. that said, i wish PMDG could license the spotlights or offer a mdl that allows the use of the spotlights using the FSL API so the knowbs/buttons drive these cool lights. kind of like taking advantage of active sky's WXR gauge and integrating to the ND... I noticed last night when trying to set the stab trim for takeoff I could adjust nose down but not nose up until I pulled back on the yoke for elevator up. First time I've experienced this on any aircraft. Anyone else? Maybe a controller issue. Not really sure at this point.

Firstly i am impressed as always by the quality of PMDG. Secondly , I just want you to share my 50/50 thoughts around an sales strategi like , Airbus hitting the market in a 3-6 year window. How about that ? But back to business. I must admit i never had the time to load both. My vacation was consuming the Airbus I am a very amateur 747 sim pilot so i do break a leg before asking. . Hi All, just installed the Queen and it seems to work OK. I have a issue with the display from the Captains side. On the left side of the front cockpit window is a label which reads PPG FAA then some numbers which are difficult to read then a second line which has a serial number of some sort. Good morning folks! As P3D 64bit seems to make good progress (https://fselite.net/news/prepar3d-v4-coming-soon-beta-new-lighting-engine-64-bit-releasing-soon/) and hopefully the 747 64bit version will do so as well it's time for me to think about investing again in flightsim since years. How I want to use my 747 online at IVAO: Start her up in the morning, when she's at CRZ ALT I log off from IVAO, let her fly alone, go to work and after 8-9 hours I come back home, logging in again at IVAO and finish the last one or two hours to the destination. Hi, I just picked up the new PMDG 747 V3 and so far, its stunning! Nice work! However as I have started to make some flights, mainly at night, the tail light (not the logo) splash effect is a box (it doesn't blend into the surrounding ground textures. can someone explain how these are supposed to work exactly? increment and decrement seem to work as expected but i'm unclear how the 'fast' switch is supposed to work. if i hold down increment and then press fast it jumps to the nearest 10 and stops incrementing. if i press the fast button first, i hear a little click but the speed stays slow as well. i thought it would just work like a shift-key so i'm not really sure what i'm missing here.. i got it to increment at a fast speed a few times by holding increment, then quickly releasing and pressing fast, then holding increment again, but i cannot seem to make this work reliably. my current mappings are: inc-&…

No longer flying, dont have the seat plan. I guess it would have been around 345 seats. G-CIVI MTOW is 364000kg and has a fast taper washout. 275 seats. Good morning. I have flown the 747 just a few times without problem. I set up for a flight this morning and discovered that I have no primary control joystick input. I do have throttle control (set up and calibrated through FSUIPC) and tiller control (likewise) ... but no other controls. Strange. These controls work perfectly in other aircraft (NGX/A320/default cub etc). I have tried recalibrating through P3D. I have tried calibrating through FSUIPC instead. I have tried allowing FSUIPC to regenerate a new .ini I have the latest FSUIPC. I've checked the drivers, calibration and operation in Windows and re-booting/reconnecting the USB devices. Hello, I noticed that on the 74F models, the upper deck door is opening upwards (à-la-MD11/767) instead of inwards and backwards as shown on this video and as seen on the FCOM (page 1.30.47) where the image shows the door mounted on upper and lower tracks. Hello, Well just like it sounds. I'm hoping that I'm entering this in correctly. For my flight winds were 70/10 local so I entered 10/.0 into the FMC. Is this correct? Also my runway was 12,400ft. take off length but i could could only enter 12 for 12,000. It would not let me enter 124 for 12,400ft. Is this also correct? Any help/advice is greatly appreciated. In manuals we have (for non-automatic ignition): Engine “START” switch .................................................. Pull Verify that the N2 RPM increases. Verify that the oil pressure increases. FUEL CONTROL switch.........................................RUN In 737-800 we must wait until ~25% N2 to switch fuel control lever to idle. And what about 747-400? As soon as both N2 RPM and oil pressure increase (as quoted above) or maybe from specific value not shown in manual? T.Hanks! :smile:
