I'll start by saying I don't have anye issues with Lua Throttle Manager in other aircraft (777). However in the Queen I have some SERIOUS issues. And now that I've seen it play out with the plugin I've noticed I've seen similar before. Right after I bought the aircraft I lost control on a couple landings...like an outboard engine failed to actuate the reverser just with an amplified affect. Or one reverser had significantly more pronounced amount of reverse thrust. Anyways the aircraft would hard over 90* and come to a stop or crash. It was so inconsistent I didn't post any errors cause I couldn't pinpoint what was happening. But this is consistent and happens ever…

When I load the 747 (any model, any repaint), the front texture doesn't load in the preview, what can be?

Hello Just getting started with the new Queen. I have loaded cold and Dark panel state, set chocks and connected ground power. Called for stairs - FS Actions>Service Vehicles page 2>Stairs 2L and 2R. Option changes to 'Release' and doors open but no vehicles arrive. Likewise all other service vehicle requests. Any ideas please? Andrew

Hello. I get this error(see below) every time i try to open the "livery downloader" in the PMDG operations center. This happens with all PMDG products i own (737, 777 and 747) and it worked fine two days ago. Between now and then i have not installed any programs on my PC or been running windows update. My operating system is Windows 10 home 64 bit. TLS 1.2 is enabled as instructed by the box.

Small issue from me. All of a sudden queen became mute. No voices/sounds at all. Yes I did check my options, all is correct there. I can hear P3D background voices, I hear engine sound of default flights, when I switch to the Queen, she is silent. I loaded ngx to check. All is fine there.

Can I kindly request an accurate South African Airways livery for the PMDG 747-400 V3 (QOTSII) Preferably ZS-SBK (The Great North) I live in South Africa, and flying these beauties on FSX would make them come back to life in my mind. Hey Hey, I just purchased the 747 V3. However, I can't find the liveries for it. When I go into the downloads section for liveries - its not there. When I try to download the 747 V2 liveries, it says that it can't located the aircraft inside my FSX folder. Am I doing something wrong? My Ops Center wont open due to an error, for which I've already submitted a support ticket for. I thought however, that I didn't need to the Ops center to download and install liveries. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks guys!

Per Robert's suggestion, I decided to crack open the FCOM and work my way through the expanded Normal Procedures. Actually quite fun and enlightening. (if you do this just remember the normal checklists are in the QRH). Anyway, at the beginning of section 21 we are advised: Status Display - Check. Verify only expected messages shown and Verify the following are sufficient for flight. Oxygen Pressure, Hydraulic quantity and engine oil quantity. I checked the Operating Limitations section but did not see these values listed and wonder if someone can point me in the right direction. thanks.

Hi, when the speed mode goes into HOLD at 70 kts during takeoff, the N1 thrust does not remain at the selected value but slightly and constantly increases, until THRUST REF kicks in after lift off. This is NOT due to physical throttle calibration, because it also happens if I don't use any hardware throttle, only keyboard. It's an issue to be looked into. Thanks.

Hi, I have setup the 747 using the FMC to allocate fuel and ZFW but my aircraft does not climb at all. Its as if the CofG is completely wrong. It does climg on VNAV at about 600 fpm but with a nose down attutude!! What am I doing wrong please? See picture below, I am level at 6000 feet unable to climb on VNAV, nose down attitude. Wings look like they are loaded with fuel but I only have 36999 fuel onboard!! Thanks

Good evening, I just got myself a second GTX1070, looking forward to have a smooth experience in 4k. Weirdly enough, when I load the 747, the GPU usage stay at a shocking 15% on both cards. On other aircraft like the Carenado B1900D, the usage reaches 65-70%. Would you have any clue as to what may cause this? At 4k, in KSFOHD by flightbeam, I get 45+ fps with the B1900D and the 747 I get like 7 fps!? There must be something going on here. I'm a NGX flyer and I need a long haul plane. Deciding between this and the 777. I heard the latter has a feature that accelerates long haul flights with better time compression called auto cruise or something like that? Does the 747 have this too? Thanks John Beck

Just starting in on her. Lots more works needs to be done. Alignment check on the tail, I'm pretty happy where the Delta logo is sitting on the hump. On the todo list is weathering for all the doors. Especially Jetway wearing. Add brake dust and a few other odds and ends.

The side facing in of each engine for the KLM Cargo 400ERF has a small GE logo, not the KLM logo. And not to beat a dead horse but this video was just released on YouTube of PH-CKB (Same options as CKC) with different options than the official option file. Heading up. No rising runways. I've taken the plunge and am now the proud owner of QOTS II. I've already flown the tutorial, along with a number of other routes out of Heathrow and Hong Kong, and just want to say what a great addition it has made to my PMDG fleet. I've long been the owner of the earlier Queen and found that jumping into the new seat posed no problems at all. I'm also learning tons of other stuff with the latest version. I always like to fly real world routes and was wondering if anyone knew of routes where the newer 747 versions flew. For instance - which route does Qantas fly its ER version; or Japan Airlines its D version; or KLM its M version? (Assuming that these airline…

I have tweaked the GPWS callout on the United Airlines livery to call out 100 through 10. I'm just used to hearing this. However, it pretty much never works. My approach is stable on G/S no problem. Nice shallow descent. This last flight only gave me the "minimums" and "10" call. I looked at the .ini file and they're all set to 1. I did a flight last night in a cargo version (Nippon Cargo) and all the sounds worked just fine. Is there a specific reason why this wouldn't work??

I'm in training at a 121 cargo airline and I'm looking at downloading the PMDG for FMS and flow practice. I'm just not sure if my computer will run it. It's a i3 laptop with onboard graphics. I know this is way below the minimum requirements for the add on but again I'm not looking at flying the thing. I just really need it as a FMS trainer. Any thoughts?

Trying to get a polished aluminum look to do the prototype 747-400 paint and cannot get that look using the specs. I am sure it is a fresnel issue and I would like to know if I can somehow edit the fresnel_reflection to make it work for the fuselage ?

I saw a video during beta of a tape to follow the center line during taxi near the side of the MCP on captain side. Is it part of feature with this release because I can't find it in the option of the FMC.
