PMDG 747 Queen of the Skies II

Hi I purchased this beauty few minutes ago. I filled in the requirement as to charge on credit card. Everything was fine till I get a message that the transaction cannot complete as the billing address given is not the same as the one registered. Which I changed right away, however, while I'm typing the new address, I receive a purchase confirmation by mobile from my bank with the amount of 89.99 usd. I hurried to see if the product was in my library but nothing. Help. What to do next? Thanks J

Hello, I'm having two small issues with the 747-400 QOTSII package. Firstly, some airports produce the following error: I've already tried to fix this by deleting the ARPT_RWY.dat file but that didn't help. I understand that this has something to do with a difference in scenery data but I'm not sure how to fix it. Secondly, the introduction manual clearly states that the 747-400 comes with the AIRAC 1702 cycle. However, mine shows the 1309 cycle. Any way to solve this issue? Kind regards, Tomas

Howdy folks quick question ive seem to have loss all my flight deck sounds in the 747 cant hear anything but the engines , all the sounds all the way up. cross refrenced the defaquly payplack devices and all are the same output device ? any ideas was working when i departed but now im landing and dont have any sound effects inside. Good evening from holland here! Within the first days I've purchased the 747 V3 and, like the NGX and 777, I absolutely adore it! I've done several long and short flights and it's simply overwhelming, even better than your already brilliant 777! However, I've noticed from the beginning, it seems a lot heavier on my system resources than the 777, even though I read everywhere that it should be similar or better. As a comparison, I'm getting 20-22fps in the 777 with ASN and FlyTampa Schiphol, but only 14-15 in the 747. The NGX even gets up to 26-28. Hi all, When i have the aircraft in the right wing aft view. If i zoom out as far as possible the wing becomes kinda jagged. If i zoom in it goes away and becomes all smooth. I'm not sure why its doing this. I have anti aliasing enabled in FSX. The same thing happens in spot view, If i'm parked at the gate and i zoom out or view from the tower, the aircraft appears to have rough / jagged edged all over it. I wish i knew why this was happening as i have the anti aliasing turned on and thought this eliminated that. Is there something i'm missing within PMDG or FSX to correct this? Hi, if I switch off gradually APU, ground power and finally batteries after landing, all is off (totally dark). All, except of cabin lights.... In this moment it is even impossible to switch them off via FMC (as it is off and dar as well...). Is that correct ? many thanks ! JM

Was wondering if we can opt for the convenience of an all-in-one switch for the Captain, FO and ISFD baro measurement - where choosing either HPA or IN will change all, rather than having to manually change each? eg: have a menu item in the same area in the CDU -> Options -> Simulation -> page 4 where we get to choose if we'd like to snyc the Cap/FO/standby baro. I was flying the -400F Korean Air when I realized the MCP settings were constantly 1 knot shy of what was being displayed on the PFD. Now, grant it, I was just flying for fun around SFO and did not set up the FMS or anything before the flight including weights or anything. But the FMC shouldn't affect the relationship between the two displays should it? Regards, Rob

I successfully installed your 747 Queen of the Skies but mistakenly installed its liveries from your website. I un-installed everything and now can't re-install. I disable the Windows Firewall, Defender, Malwarebytes, CCleaner. I have tried the order id and the serial no. but every time I get this message; Your user information could not be validated. Close installer before trying again.

Does anybody have a TrackIR profile configured for the new PMDG 747 V3 (QOTSII) they would be willing to share? I'm having trouble configuring one for the new 747 and can't quite wrap my head around it at the moment. Getting the zoom, speed and lateral pan is proving beyond me! I'd like to be able to load up a pre-configured profile from someone who has managed to set it up and then have a better chance of understanding how to do it in future. Thanks James

Guys I have uninstalled Ezdok V1 and i appear to have lost the above view. I can cycle through the cockpit views as normal using A but when i get to the captains view i just get a view of outside. The next click is the FO view. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but no luck. Please help. Daz

A rather strange event is happening on the overhead panel of the PMDG new 747. When I hover the mouse on or around the Standby Power switch the mouse brings up a window as in the pictures enclosed. The mouse was to the left of these windows but when I took the pics it disappeared. Holding the mouse cursor buttons down it cycles from L 0 to 6 and R 0 to 6. This also happens over the left hand Utility Switch, the left Elec Eng Control switch, the left IRS switch and Ext Power 1 switch. The switches themselves cannot be moved. I have uninstalled the aircraft and reinstalled but to no avail. I need these switches for cold and dark startups which I do not do very often…

I'm having a hard time trying to find a good balance between the brightness in the flightdeck and the visuals outside of the plane. This is what mine currently looks like: Not realyl how the real 747s colours look inside. And even worse on the outside: But so far I couldn't find any better PTA setting and/or HDR setting as all seem to make the 747's flight deck a black cove... any opinions? What are your PTA/HDR settings and could you add a screenshots showing what your 747 looks like with it?

Why are the strobes on the PMDG 747 synced? Or do they start synced and then go out of phase to variables in the power supplies and/or bulbs? See video for example. Start viewing at 31 seconds in the video.

I only get between 6-12 FPS when flying this big bird. I have done several parallel flights with PMDG 737 NGX with everything set the same. I always get between 24-35 FPS on PMDG 737 NGX. I had a crash while enroute over the Atlantic. I wanted to insert a PBD waypoint, starting from one of the coordinates I was going to fly to. Downselected it, added the bearing and the distance and right when I tried to insert it in the LEGS page, P3D crashed. I wasn't able to reproduce this issue when trying again at parking, but I'm afraid it will happen again. Did any of you encounter this problem? Regards, Fabrizio

Hello, I am using GSX for the 747 and all doors operate just fine except the nose door. It shows in the PMDG menu but when I push open nothing happens. Not sure if PMDG and GSX are compatible for this action. Any help would be appreciated Cheers George Ingram.

The engine textures on the PMDG Cathay ERF are broken, looking forward to a fix.
