ChasePlane Support

Hi was wondering if=- anyone on here has managed to get The track hat working with ChasePlane yet James over at the trackhat website has said if you download trackir and use it with trackhat and chase plane it will work but unless i am missing something there is no options available within the trackir software the camera tab is greyed out so wont recognize anything Thanks Garry

Hi there, I just installed the Aerosoft CRJ, the views were working fine but I had to reinstall and now ChasePlane doesn't give me the message saying "Configuration changed for (CRJ7, etc)" and my views are messed up. When I "Inside" it brings me to the default cockpit view and I can't pan my mouse or move. Please help

I was thinking how nice it would be have a cyclic key assigned (global) that would cycle thru whatever custom cameras I have define for a specific aircraft ... example (i.e. CO, Overhead, FO, center console, CO left, FO right, etc.). I know I can assign buttons to each custom camera, but I wasn't able to locate any option to assign a button to cycle each camera in a specific view group (i.e. Inside, Outside, Static). The assignment would operate with the currently selected view group (i.e. Inside). Cheers, Rob.

The title says it all. It doesn't matter the way I choose to do it, when clicking in the green checkbox after naming a new preset, nothing happens. To work with them, I have to import from other acfts and start adjusting, renaming, etc

Hello,I love your products. I have purchased the 777 and 737 Immersion and PreciptFX products for FSX and I'm very pleased. I am interested in purchasing the ChasePlane add on but I have a question. For FSX I see that you state: Due to the technologies used back in those days, the In-Sim View Selector and Framing Overlay only works in windowed mode when using FSX. P3D v2, v3 & v4 are not affected and will work in fullscreen mode. I understand that the only way to use these two features is in windowed mode, but after I program my Razer Tartarus Chroma thumbpad will I be able to switch views in Fullscreen? Thanks, Crashbar.

I am attempting to use the Flightbeam visual pack to get better visuals of my sim. I am attempting to use Reshade on V4 and I am wondering if anyone knows if there are any compatability issues with Chaseplane. I have attempted using it but everytime I use it I get a CTD after a few minutes in flight sometimes hours. Thanks.

Is there any chance you guys could implement those? I really like chaseplane but I'm considering going back to ezdok2 for those. I liked those effects and I'm really surprised they are not implemented at the moment. Cheers!

Sometimes when I shutdown P3D it will not automatically shutdown CP, so I have to go into taskmanager to manually end it. But when I load up P3D again, it won't load up CP, so I have to manually start it, and sometimes it just sits at the loading screen with Checking Computer ID and freezes there. It's driving me nuts when this happen, any idea whats going on? I am using the latest experimental version.

Hello! I recently bought Chaseplane, and loving it. At the moment I mostly fly a Carenado DO-228, with the F1 GTN750 stack, and it works great. I have a problem though, when I switch from cockpit view, to outside view and back, I cannot use the touchscreen on the GTN750. If I reload the SIM and shut down ChasePlane, there is no trouble with the 750 unit. Any ideas?

Since binning Ezdok I have just installed Chaseplane, but I have lost the classic spot view. Can anyone explain to me what I have done wrong. Thanks.

Hi there, I've had this problem for the last few versions and I am currently using the most recent experimental. Usually after about 10-15 minutes approaching cruise, if I restore/maximise the chaseplane window from the taskbar, the whole window is blacked out. Everything still functions within the sim but obviously if you can't see the buttons in the program window I don't know what I am clicking. I can usually guess where the minimise button is and put it back in the task bar. Thanks.

I couldnt buy chase plane because of "stripes." I have never even heard about it. Most vendors have an option for paypal, but not you guys. No no, not you. Any chance of getting an option to buy through paypal? Im not going to opt in for another payment method and why you dont have paypal support is beyond me. I go to ezdok then.

Greetings, I'm about to start the process of rebuilding my FS PC (new CPU/MB/RAM) and I was wondering if there was a way to save all my views/profiles. Then import them when I reinstall on the new rather than setting them all up from scratch again? Thanks, Todd.

Is there any file that will transfer the keys and buttons to the new computer I just install CP on? I don't remember what all was on my old PC? Thanks.

Hello, In some cases when I turn my aircraft (auto rudder) the preset view goes with it. So, let's say I have my view in the captain's seat and I turn left, my view and preset will move into the centre of the cockpit, and cannot be reset without updating the view. It also happens once airborne, all my views move forward slightly and this is extremely annoying for the use of the FMC's. Is this a known problem? I can't find a fix anywhere. I'd appreciate some help. Thanks

I am experiencing a problem where while using ChasePlane VC cockpit views, buttons don't respond to clicks (left and/or right clicks). Recently, I have been primarily flying PMDG aircraft. I have v0.3.128 installed, running in FSX (legacy, non-Steam edition). 1. I have reset all cockpit views (PMDG 747 and 777), and all buttons respond correctly to clicks. I am setting the zoom via CP to 0.70 2. During next flight, some buttons don't respond at all. Using the mouse middle button to move the view around will get them to respond. Any progress on the ChasePlane process not quitting problem? The ChasePlane process on my machine does not end, and has to be manually ended in Task Manager. I know this is a known problem. I was just wondering if any progress had been made, or if there are now any known workarounds? Thanks.

I would like to make changes to the default flyby as well as the outside locked spot view. Tried editing camera.cfg but it did not work. What are my options ? Thanks for any suggestions

Hi new version 0.3.118 crash when you loaded aircraft which is not previously used with Chaseplane. Previously with Chaseplane configured aircraft working ok but not possible add new aircraft configuration.(tried different aircraft and many times and result is same) Please check this version 0.3.118 ! regards

P3D 3.4, I tried everything but reinstalling. When I try the walk around I get all inside views, it's a mess. I have no saved aircraft.cfg file like I've seen in another thread to replace it with. Anyone else have this problem? I love this program but this is about the only thing that is getting on my nerves. Thanks.

P3Dv4 - This latest "update" has now ruined a perfectly good A2A aircraft walkaround. Now I get all kinds of crazy views when I initiate the usual walkaround. Thanks for ruining this for me Keven, I was hoping you'd do this.

I load ORBX YMML with A2A Comanche.into FSX. All is well until I launch Chase Plane. I then get flashing shimmering buildings without touching any buttons or keys. I disable ChasePlane and the flashing goes away. Any help please.. Thanks simdown42

Hi guys, First of all, as everyone else seems to say, thank you for this product; it's everything I hoped and dreamed it would be. I have a quick question: how do you (if at all) hide the small expandable tool tip that is located near the top left corner of the simulator in P3D? Clicking it, it expands and displays your other presets, and doing so again minimizes it. I take a lot of screenshots/videos of my simulator, and while it's a very minor detail, I was wondering if there was a way to hide it entirely. Thanks, Matt
