ChasePlane Support

Hi Keven In defining presets for a new aircraft, (we'll call it aircraft A), I clicked on the top menu and chose the presets for aircraft B which appears to import all the latter's presets, so the "top" label shows aircraft B not aircraft A. What I would like to know is how can I get back to this top label showing the loaded aircraft A so I can manually define fresh presets from scratch for this. If I delete the current individual presets (those imported from aircraft B), it deletes them so they no longer exist in aircraft B when I load it. What I want to do is break the link between aircraft A and the imported presets for aircraft B, without losing aircraft B…

Hi! I have just reinstalled my PC(Windows 10, Pro, 64bit) and reinstalled P3D v4 along with some addons. However, ChasePlane tells me that it does not support V4?? Does this happen to any else? Thanks!! I don't know how to attach pic here. But when I run P3D v4 and Chaseplane runs too. Then it shows that "Your P3D version is not supported yet" and it shows that my P3D version is v4.0.23.21468 Is it normal???

I've been using CP for a while and love it..... but have never gotten trackir to work in it. I figured I'd just keep waiting till the right update would work, but seems like it's working for others. If this helps any..... it works perfectly when not using CP. Once I run CP, trackir doesn't work even if I close CP and fsx..... and restart just fsx without CP. Then I have to run trackir install and do repair....then I can start fsx without CP and it works again. Have any ideas?

Is it possible in the near future to have an own taxi roll effect? Groudeffect at 1.00 shakes the plane on taxing but it is too much for takeoff. Max

Hi, In aircraft tab, chaseplane is giving me the portal instead of door tab. I see from your tutorial in the net, the presenter is starting chaseplane having a door tab.I mean virtual door tutorial. but I am missing the door tab. it's functioning but is it normal to show portal instead of door tab for fsx or only me. just a guess. thinking that it could be the version that caused it to not show the door tab , I switch to experimental , and vice versa,still no door tab. Do a restart, that's where and it happened the 2nd time chaseplane refuses to start there after. I am now stud here again playing fsx without chaseplane camera. …

Loving Chaseplane but having a problem when I look rearwards. Whereas in Ezdok the movements were correct, ie look out and back towards the tail it all works as you would expect, with chaseplane it loses the coordination between headmovements in game. Any ideas anyone?

Experim. Mode First the engine vibration works great now with my single engine and turboprobs. Only the Realair Turbine duke make some troubles only on engine start! Something wrong with the ground effect. on take off the green bar is always on the top. Before my setting was default 1.00. Now 0.10. Not testet at this time all of my Jets like PMDG... I apologize if this has been suggested or is already in the road map. Suppose a key (say "Joystick Button 1") is assigned to three camera presets: A, B, C. Pressing Joystick Button 1 will cycle through them, which has been a very nice feature. When I manually adjust the camera out of a preset, say B, I hope pressing Joystick Button 1 again can restore the preset B rather than immediately moving on to C. This would be useful, for example, using the joystick hat switch to check out the runway position during a circuit and returning to my favorite pilot view. I'm suddenly (last few days) having problems with ChasePlane automatically starting when I start P3dv4. When it fails, I have to open Task Manager, Find the ChasePlane process, end it, and then start ChasePlane manually by clicking on it's desktop icon. There are no error messages. Anyone else having this problem? Would it be safe to uninstall it and reinstall it without getting the "to many installs" message on my computer.

My chaseplane was doing fine earlier today. But then all of a sudden my views were all messed up. I'm not sure if it's caused by my P3D v4 but it only happens when I use chaseplane.I tried the WideviewAspect option but it did fix only the zoom out issue. But when I go to other views but there was stretching. Sorry if I'm unable to describe it well. My version of chaseplane is v0.3.66 Beta and my sim is P3Dv4. Hello, Today after the last update my ground motion effects are over the value, which is set in chaseplane. In other words, during a takeoff roll the value is maximum (full green) even though it's set to 3.30. Similar problem I had with some motion effects in the past, for example acceleration but it works fine now. How can I solve this problem?

Installed the latest version into P3Dv4. I can now no longer pan my view in the VC. My hat switch is totally inoperational in the VC. I also have some views assigned to my controller switches that now behave totally differently. I was hoping for an application that enhances my experience - not makes it worse. Is there a way to get Chase plane to actually accept the P3Dv4 keyboard and controller control assignments ? Thanks

Is there a way to increase the amount of anticipation ? As it stands out of the box I find it doe snot look far enough to the side to which I am turning. Thanks

I have been using Chase Plane for months and turn All motion effects to 0 (Aircraft, Environmental and Human) and there is no motion in the views. Today out of the blue a lot of motion started showing up in all camera views. For example, I have an inside Pilot view in a PMDG 777 and all the motion sliders are set to 0, but there is substantial motion in that view. Did something change in Chaseplane to prevent turning motion off? How do you get rid of motion if all the sliders are set to 0 and there still is substantial motion? Just installed 1.5, curious to know how I can go about getting TIR to work. I enabled it in the menu but I'm unable to use it when CP is running. Input would be appreciated. Thanks, nisx

Maybe really going over the top ...but is it possible to use Chaseplane and undocked views. I know when I create a view view from the p3dv3 menu bar..I get a new view but only can zoom in and out..(default p3dv3) but can use hat switch to move left to right, up or down etc. Anyway to do this where you can have multiple chaseplane views at the same time. I know I am asking a lot. Using P3dv3.4, windows 10 etc. Your software is spectacular!! Have a great day!!.. Hope you understand where I am coming from. Thank you, Bob M.

At random intervals my VC cockpit view will suddenly change to an outside view and then when I move my mouse it reverts the view back to the VC. This is most strange and I am wondering whether anyone can assist please. Michael

Hello, I have the following issue with chaseplane: The static section is not working and this text is displayed: „No airport in Range“ „Not supported“ „Your simulator version does not support static cameras at this time.“ I have ticked on: Experimental Version and Show all Static Cameras. When the M key is used we get different external views. The camera is fixed on the airplane with the ground moving in the background. Is there a way to reverse that with the camera fixed on the ground and the airplane moving?
