ChasePlane Support

Not always but mostly my preassigned buttons for all my presets for cockpit and outside cameras stop working when using chaseplane a certain amount of time ( normally between 5 and 15 min. ) I still can pull up the chaseplane menu and change views with mouse-click but not with the assigned buttons or keys. Looks like my system is on overload, however everything else complex aircraft and complex scenery and fps are fine. Is there anything I can do about that ?? thanks in advance

Every time I start FSX it opens 2 windows asking me for permission to run "Chase Plane". and also to run "VFXCentral". FSX does that with every new add on- but only once not every time you start it up. Any idea how to stop this behavior ?? (Auto launch with FSX-SE is checked) Win 10/ FSX-SE/ FSUIPC/

Every time some turbulence happens the red text appears again on the top right of the p3d screen, displaying camera name, zoom level, besides disabling text completely in the p3d menus, can that be fixed so it does not keep appearing again after the text first comes up on changing viewpoints?

Hi, I am running Prepar3D v4.1 and Chaseplane was and has been working fine but this morning I used the update option to update to 0.3.69 and it all seemd to update properly and Chaseplane starts but it is not communicating with Prepar3D. I have tried several reinstalls but nothing seems to work. Any held would be much appreciated. Regards Rob

Hi guys, Does ChasePlane work with Oculus Rift? I know it has TrackIR support. I'm learning the PMDG 737 NGX and I'm not using the Oculus yet but when I tried some of the overhead switches are to far back and some can't be read due to the angle. Cheers, David

I just installed v 4.1.7.22841 of P3D and now Chaseplane tells me it is not supported yet. This morning I got an update to Chaseplane that told me it was for P3DV4.1. Can someone explain? /Thomas ESNN

Hi, Just installed P3D client update to version 4.1. On loading, Chaseplane updated itself to Beta 0.3.68. The update information said it was to provide compatibility for P3D v4.1 But... When I run P3D, Chaseplane says that my version is not yet supported and has disabled static cameras and smooth zooming. Am I missing something? Thanks.

There appeared to have been a quick update to Chaseplane a hour or so ago. It was working fine up to that point. Now it won't open at all. If I re-install it, will I lose all my camera settings?

Hi, Iam trying to set camara views to my Logitech G13 but ChasePlane dose not see my G13 in the Presets tab and it´s add key/button assignments. My guess is that I can set/add Control Bindings in the Control Bindings tab, but not in the Presets tab for views with the G13. Any workarounds, or might I be doing something wrong? Using Prepar3dv4 and stable ChasePlane.

Aircraft I am using is the FSX PMDG737NGX and PMDGB744 classic. With the 737NGX I can scroll in and out with my mouse center wheel and scroll left and right. But with the 747 the mouse is a dead. I have compared both settings and they look identical but I must be missing something somewhere. Anyone any suggestions? Thanks Don

I grabbed a lot of cameras from the community section but I'd like to re-order the cameras in the list moving some around in the order am I missing something I cannot figure out a way to do it. Thank you.

I have been using Chaseplane for a couple of months and twice I have been unable to load the program. The first time was when FSFX had a problem with their server and the current second time is I keep getting a message when it attempts to log in to FSPS "We are sorry, an unknown error occured. Please contact us at *@*.com with a reference to this message: (TrustFailure)" I am now awaiting their response. This may not seem a much of a problem to some but when one gets the time to fly only to be unable to load the software it becomes very annoying. Hi, I've just purchased Chaseplane after sitting on the fence for a while. Great overall product and I'm mostly glad I chose it. I have two questions/issues though. While panning with middle mouse or assigned key, I get microstutters. I don't mean the normal occasional stutters that we get with P3D, but microstutters specifically and only while panning. I did not have these with EZdok 1.187 while panning. Second is possibly linked to first, while panning there seems to be some sort of "input lag". I've tried dropping the master inertia slider to 0 and there is still a bit of lag during the movements/panning. Also compared to Ezdok 1.187. I've also not…

Now that I'm creating more and more cameras in ChasePlane, naturally, I risk accidentally deleting or changing cameras that I don't intend to. Is there a file that all of the camera data is written to locally that I can create a backup of somewhere? Thanks.

Depending on the aircraft I am flying I am using a yoke or joystick. Every time I change the control device, I have to change the assignment of Tilt/Pan under Control Assignments. Is there a way to get rid of these reassignments? Does Chase Plane support more than one control device? Christian

I have my second pc set up today. then I wanted to start my first pc, and then came this error message. Chaseplane reports: You have reached the maximum number of computers allowed for your account. I just installed p3dv4 and after setting up chaseplane, I cannot get my yoke hatswitch to work for panning at all. I have assigned other buttons on my yoke with no problem. Thanks Paul Burley

Hi, is there any way to save different sets of control assignments. I use a yolk for my aircraft flying and a saitek X52 joystick for heli flying. That means I have to re-set the hat assignments each time I switch craft. It would be useful to save different sets of key / joystick assignments with the views! GREAT PRODUCT - by the way!

Just installed PMDG 747 and 777 in P3D v4 In both planes, I cannot setup any external or static views. The option of adding a view is missing. Internal works ok

Hi Keven, I use two screens with P3Dv4 on the 4k screen and Chaseplane and other apps on a second screen. Is there a way for Chaseplane to remember that it has been on my second screen for subsequent sessions? Regards, Richard

Hello! I'm loving ChasePlane since I was sick and tired of ezdok. I sometimes like to use the standard Locked Spot view of the sim. In ezdok there was an option for the Default camera system so that when I changed to the outside view I could rotate the camera horizontally and vertically with the hat switch. However, I'm not able to do this with ChasePlane. If I change to the outside view I can only rotate the camera horizontally and not vertically. Is there a way I can do this? Thank you!

Hello, I recently got back into simming and saw the chaseplane product while installing the other FSFX products I happily own. I enjoy it for the most part, but I'm hoping one change can be implemented as soon as possible. The need for internet. I understand it's needed for saving profiles, install validation and such, but it seriously needs an offline mode for users who have already validated. I bought it, installed it, and was getting acquainted with it and boom, hurricane Irma came and other than no water and power for 11 days, no internet for nearly a month (Naples, FL, we were the welcoming committee for her). Needless to say I very much hated chaseplane these…
